"So many tears I cried, so many times my heart died. I need someone to change it all, someone to break the fall."

Autumn leaves so beautiful and colorful. Green, Red, Yellow and Brown. They fall so beautifully twirling, swirling and gently. That sound when you step on it, like a bite of crunchy potato chips.

A season of change. A season you ought to love. Happiness bubbles up on sight of the beautiful scenery.

But not for everyone, at least not for Gray Fullbuster. Sitting on the park bench, dressed in full shirt and pant with a scarf draped around his neck; he stared at the lake.

The breath taking sight would have left him awestruck, if not for his dead eyes staring at nothing.

The pain still existed in his heart. The scene kept replaying. And he didn't want to forget it either. He regretted every action he did.

Autumn was so lively and vibrant, just like the spark in her eyes.

The loss of losing her, the love of his life had devasted him. If only he didn't said those words.

A year ago, sitting on the same bench, on this very day; the couple celebrated their 5th anniversary. She gifted him a handmade scarf.

He teased her about her poor knitting skills which she took seriously and pouted, before storming off. He laughed to himself before wrapping the scarf and running after her.

He called her name. She turned and gave a smile, that was so angelic to him.

She didn't notice the red signal for the pedestrian and crossed the road, not noticing the speeding truck but Gray did.

He called out her name, and told her to run. But before she could register the fact, the truck hit her hard and send flying across.

The truck hit a pole and luckily the driver survived. But not the girl, it had hit her hard.

The sight froze Gray cold on his feets. Even in this cold weather he was sweating buckets. Tears streamed down his face as he yelled out her name.

"LUCY!"

He rushed to get side and repeatedly called out her name. She was still as an object, not even fluttering her eyes. Blood pooled around her.

Before they reached the hospital, she left for her heavenly abode.

Back to the present, Gray bit his lips to stop himself froming crying. But a silent tear slipped off, as he clutched at the scarf, her last gift to him.

At one of the end, in beautiful cursive, were the words Love you for an eternity!
