Naruto/RWBY 7

To Guest from Chapter 6: about Susanoo breaking... Susanoo didn't break. If you go back and read it, I wrote Kakashi willed it away. And an imprint of a fist on Susano doesn't mean it broke. You seemed very upset, just wanted to clear that up.

This chapter is 4K long I hope you guys don't complain too much about length from now on. Tell me if I'm rushing things, I'll make fillers:D if that is the case.

Inside Tukson's Bookshop sat Kakashi working. If it could even be called that. Tukson had taken a vacation, and fled to Atlas. The Faunus didn't want to risk his life by hanging around any longer than necessary. He left his Bookshop in Kakashi's hand, at least until the people wanting him dead forgot about him.

Kakashi read his book in complete silence. He had his feet on his desk, and was lazily leaning back on his chair. He moved his scarf to adjust it as he read, he giggled perversely upon reading a very erotic scene from Ninja of Love.

His reading had to be unfortunately put on hold when team RWBY walked in the bookshop. He put his book away knowing they were impossible to ignore. He was actually looking forward to their visits, warming up to them somewhat.

"What can I do for you ladies," greeted Kakashi easily. He then looked at Yang who was chewing on a gum. "And Yang."

"Hey!" replied Yang with a frown. She folded her arms with a shake of her head, and resigned to ignore the jab.

Blake stepped forward, and subtly cleared her throat. "We-"

She was promptly pushed out of the way by Weiss.

"We wanted to know if you can tell us more about those two," asked Weiss. She offered a weak smile.

Kakashi tilted his head in thought. There was something important he might have forgotten. His eyes lit up as he remembered something he had easily disregarded before. Not everyone in this new world knew how to dispel illusions. "Well, the green one has illusionary powers. You got to be careful with that one. Then again the boy might have illusionary power also."

"Illusions?" asked Ruby. She blinked cluelessly. Her team also looked out of depth on the subject.

Kakashi sighed. He scratched his head trying to think of a way to explain to the whole team. He decided to demonstrate by grabbing his book.

He stood up his eyes glowing as the Sharingan activated. The wheels spin softly captivating the girls. He held out his book in front of the girls to see clearly. He pulled out a lighter, and started to burn it. Once it had sufficiently caught on fire he tossed it to Ruby.

She shrieked in surprise with the burning book in her hand, and quickly tossed it to Yang.

"Hot potatoe!" screamed Yang, and tossed it at Blake.

Blake hissed catlike, and threw it at Weiss. Weiss dodged, and brought out her sword. The book dropped onto the wooden floor burning. She quickly used ice dust to freeze it putting out the fire. The book laid on the floor half burned, and completely encased in ice. The girls stared at it before looking back at Kakashi.

Kakashi nodded, and sat back down. "That is an example of an illusion."

"What?" asked Yang confused. The team stayed quiet trying to understand.

Kakashi pointed at the book.

As one Team RWBY looked back at the book. The book laid on the floor completely frozen, but it wasn't burned. It was in perfect condition, except for that fact that Weiss had put it inside ice.

"Whoah!" shouted Ruby impressed. She ogled the book trying to break the ice to get it back.

"But I felt the flame!" shouted Blake completely confused. She looked at her palms trying to find something. "My palm was burning, and I smelled burned paper."

Ruby also look into her hands studying it. "I did feel the fire. It was hot, and it was starting to burn me."

"Freaky," said Yang and then looked back at the book.

"It looked so real," said Weiss astounded. They had even been talking about illusions, but had fallen for one so easily.

"Well my illusions are at a level few are capable of, you can say it's my specialty," said Kakashi with a confident nod, and a small smile. His sharingan allowed him to craft amazing illusions. Anyone not capable of dispelling them would have a hard time noticing a simple illusion, but a Sharingan enhanced illusion was on another level.

"Now that you showed us how illusions work," said Weiss, and took a glance at her team wondering if they were thinking the same thing as her. "How do we avoid, or notice them."

Kakashi raised a finger about to speak, but hesitated. Her looked at the girls trying to think of the proper solution to give them. The simplest, and easiest method to escape a illusion. "Well, the easiest, and most effective way is to inflict pain on yourself."

Team RWBY stared at him in silence. They all shared the same expression. They looked at him as if her were crazy.

"Or hone your sense," muttered Kakashi awkwardly. He didn't plan on giving them advice, but he had already allowed himself. He continued on, "Usually a person is only able to detect illusion, and escape them only by having experience."

He couldn't show them the shinobi way to dispel illusions. There were several problems with that method. They didn't have chakra to fluctuate, so it was moot, but maybe if they could do the same with aura...

"Then how did you escape their illusions?" asked Weiss. Her question showed how perceptive she was. "You obviously didn't hurt yourself to escape their illusion. How did you obtain the experience to detect illusions."

Kakashi nodded slightly impressed by her perceptiveness. He decided to give them the simplest solution. "I'm immune."

Silence followed his declaration. Team RWBY stared at him waiting for him to elaborate.

Kakashi chuckled softly. "I have this condition where no illusions can work on me."

Yang narrowed her eyes at him, and placed her hands in his desk to better stare him down. "Want to share?"

Kakashi shook his head amused by her attempt to intimidate him. "Anyways why don't I give you girls a small exercise."

"What kind of exercise?" asked Blake. She didn't want him to change the topic. It was now important that they learn more about these illusions.

"Illusions," said Kakashi simply.

They perked up immediately giving him their full attention. It was a shame he wasn't their teacher. Their drive to learn was something he liked.

"Do you girls know how to fluctuate your aura?" he asked simply trying to gauge their reaction. He wasn't an expert on aura. He understood what it was, and how it supposedly worked, but in truth it was alien to him. He didn't even know if it was possible to fluctuate aura.

"Fluctuate?" asked Ruby with a confused tone. Her eyebrow scrunched together in deep thought.

"Like rise, and drop?" asked Yang trying to understand what he meant by fluctuate.

"It's hard to explain. What I mean is to make your aura complete mess for a moment" said Kakashi trying to guide them.

"I think I understand," said Blake stepping forward. She closed her eyes, and her aura became visible. Her body emitted a soft glow of purple. The brightness dimmed, and rose sharply like a beacon.

Kakashi raised a hand motioning for her to wait. His eyes met her's. "Try it in this world."

Suddenly Blake stood all alone in a empty wasteland. There were dead trees everywhere. She looked up into the sky to see if darkened by dark clouds. The sun was just about to disappear in the horizon. Her eyes roam over the dead trees, and ground. She took a step thinking of exploring, but quickly stopped herself from wandering off. Her curiosity almost always got the better of her, but not this time. She took a deep breath, and closed her eyes... Fluctuate.

"Blake? You okay?" asked Ruby's voice in front of her. She opened her eyes, and backed away quickly from Ruby who was too close for comfort.

"You spaced out there... Ohhh," said Weiss from her left. Weiss had realized what had just happened. "Did it work?"

Blake smirked at her team feeling proud to have this method down. "Yes."

"Me next!" shouted Ruby very excited. She gave Kakashi puppy eyes begging.

Kakashi looked at the clock behind him. Then look back at the girls. Just this once wouldn't hurt, hopefully.

Ozpin sat behind his desk as usual. He had several school documents on his desk, but he was in no hurry to complete them. He also had a mug for his tea on the desk. He normally would have been focusing on his job as Headmaster of Beacon. Instead he gave his undivided attention to Glynda who had finally found the time to come talk to him about the mysterious Kakashi. From what he understood Glynda had fought the man a day ago. She hadn't come to tell him immediately because she had needed time to review what she had discovered herself.

The gears for the clock tower ticked audibly. Ozpin motioned for Glynda to talk. In her hand was her crop, but she kept rotating it. She looked somewhat nervous.

"I was unable to touch him," said Glynda after a moment of silence. Her crop spun in her hand again. "I wasn't trying to kill him, but I certainly tried to hit him."

Ozpin's eyes narrowed sharply. Glynda was one of the best Huntress in the world. Even he himself would be hard pressed to defeat someone like her, but to be untouchable against her...

Glynda nodded. "It's as you concluded. He's very dangerous, but he's not our enemy."

"That good," replied Ozpin with a relieved sigh. He took a sip of his tea waiting for her to continue on. He at least needed to hear more about this mysterious person who has revealed themselves to them. A person this skilled would have stayed hidden if they had wanted to.

"As I said I was unable to touch him. Any attacks that did hit him did so because he allowed them. He didn't fight me with any malicious intent, he didn't fight back much." Said Glynda. She had a small frown on her face. "But he also displayed many abilities. It was the first time I've fought someone like he. He was extremely evasive. He was using lightning, and fire without dust, almost like magic."

Ozpin's eyes widen with interest. "Like a maiden?"

Glynda shook her head. "It was different. He might have used his powers like one, but they weren't the power of the maidens. He had an invisible shield that he could bring out in an instant, and will it away just as easily. He was capable of switching places with nearby objects, he did it so fast that to the naked eye it appeared instant. Then there was his control over lightning, and fire."

"Hmm," said Ozpin. He had his hands folded together on his desk. "How frightening."

"He's not an enemy. This I'm certain of," restated Glynda. She normally didn't defend another person's character, but this man wasn't an enemy. He was an annoyance, but not an enemy.

Ozpin smiled. "Your instinct have yet to let me down, I will trust in them."

Glynda nodded with a small half hearted smile. It's always nice to be compliment, and he was right. Her instinct has yet to fail her.

"He has done nothing to earn our distrust," said Ozpin softly, and turned his chair around. "Let's hope things stay that way."

Glynda nodded.

Mercury was pacing inside his room. It was a simple, and modest room. He had a tv hanging against one of the walls. A small desk underneath it. A small closet for his clothes. On the opposite side was his bed. His bed was occupied by his ever present companion, Emerald.

"Can you stop that!" growled Emerald. He was starting to make her nervous with his pacing.

"How can you be so calm," replied Mercury with a sigh. He took a chair next to his desk, and sat down with another sigh.

Mercury's eyes lit up. She leaned forward. "It's simple, it's because I can't do anything about it."

Mercury cracked his knuckles, and clenched his fist. "That guy. I just can't believe all of us together, and we couldn't even touch that guy."

Emerald nodded. "I know."

Mercury narrowed his eyes at her. "Hey, you're awfully calm about this why?"

Emerald smirked at him. "Because Cinder couldn't do anything about him either. We know how she is about not getting her way."

Mercury leaned back with a small smile on his face. "Ohh."

"She hates losing." Stated Emerald. "Now that she knows what he can do, she'll figure a way to beat him, and most definitely take his power."

"That guy was a monster," muttered Mercury with some doubt in his voice. "Nothing we did affected him. Did you notice how YOUR illusions didn't even faze him?"

Emerald's smirk dropped. Her eyes burning with some rage. She did notice. In fact she remembered how he only glanced at her after her attempt to trap him in an illusion failed. As if she were nothing more than a nuisance.

"Cinder will handle it," muttered Emerald reaffirming her faith in her leader.

"And if she doesn't?" asked Mercury. He's always trusted Cinder to come through for them because he's always know she was strong, but this time a monster has appeared. Nothing they did had worked against that guy. Not the traps, not their team combo, not even that explosion that they left him in.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," replied Emerald with a upset face. She left the room the clear her head leaving Mercury alone.

Kakashi closed the bookshop. The sun was already past the horizon, and the streets were empty. Cars would pass the shop every now and then, but the majority of the Vale was getting ready to sleep. He locked the door, and paused.

"If we keep meeting like this, I might think you're stalking me," said Kakashi teasingly. If he were a lesser shinobi he would be more careful since he was on thin ice here, but he was Hatake Kakashi. Proud reader of porn.

Behind him stood Glynda Goodwitch. She had a serious expression on, but she didn't look like one who was there to fight him. She only scoffed at his attempt to rile her up.

"I liked to ask you some things. My boss wants to know if you would happen to know information that could prove invaluable to us," said Glynda. She motioned for him to follow.

Kakashi took her request in stride, and followed her calmly. "You mean your boss would like to ask me something?"

Glynda nodded. "We would like to extend you a hand of friendship."

Kakashi rolled his eyes as he followed her. "You mean to keep me an arm length away."

Glynda stopped, and turned to face him. Her eyes peaked with interest. "You read between the lines too much."

"Do I?" he muttered with a shrug. "I didn't notice."

"You are a very paranoid person," stated Glynda softly, and then resumed her walk. "But I can't say I blame you. We all are paranoid in our own way, especially with the way this world is."

"You mean this fragile peace," replied Kakashi, his interest was peaked. He of course had already known the peace was extremely fragile. The population were the key to this peace. If they were happy, and contented, then there would be peace. If they were frighten, shocked, and worried then chaos would follow.

"Yes," replied Glynda. She stopped in front of a parking lot with plenty of space. She clicked a button that she had.

"We're waiting for your ship?" asked Kakashi. It was already dark, and she was acting very out of character. What could have changed?

He looked up into the sky, and sure enough a small ship quickly descended to pick them up. It was a small bullhead. It's doors opened for them to enter.

"Get in," said Glynda. She got in, and stood waiting beside the door for him to enter.

"You don't seem happy about this." Observed Kakashi with a curious expression.

"I'm not," replied Glynda with a small frown. "But orders are orders."

"I tend to break orders a lot," said Kakashi amused.

"Hmm," replied Glynda thinking over every word he had said so far.

"We are here it seems," observed Kakashi when he felt the ship descend. These things sure were fast. He got a very nice view of Beacon. It was dark, and hard to see, but his eyes were sharper than a hawk.

The ship landed. The doors opened, and it automatically slid stairs for them to use. They had landed onto a landing platform for the ship. It was dark out, but there were lamps lighting the pathway into the school. Kakashi walked out first as if it were an everyday thing. Glynda walked behind him, he let her overtake him since he didn't know where they were heading.

"So what's this about. Did something big happen?" questioned Kakashi curiously. He of course already toyed with the idea of this being a trap, but it was unlikely.

"After gauging your fighting capabilities the Headmaster grew curious about you," answered Glynda. She guided him into the building.

"Ah," muttered Kakashi. "And you assumed I would have no problem with this?"

Glynda's eyes glowed ominously. "If you had denied my invitation, I would have figured out a way to bring you here regardless."

Kakashi shook his head amused. Timing was everything, and he had chosen the perfect place to be uncooperative. "If I resisted here I'm sure the whole school will see us."

Glynda stopped, and faced him. "And I'll officially be able to label you a criminal."

"I can claim you kidnapped me," drawled out Kakashi slowly. He took a step back away from her.

"Hn" grunted Glynda unamused. She then made a expression as if disgusted. "I'll owe you one favor.

Kakashi turned his head as if debating whether to accept then shook his head. "Two."

Glynda's glare intensified, but eventually she nodded.

"Lead the way," said Kakashi motioning for her to continue.

She gave him a disgusted expression, and walked.

Kakashi stood amused for a moment before following her in silence.

They arrived to a big oak door. She opened it, and motioned for him to enter.

Kakashi stepped in. It was a very big office, and also one of the most strange he's ever seen. He realized they were inside the tower he had seen from outside. There were giant clock gears ticking above them. Across the room was the desk of the Headmaster. On the man's desk was a cup of tea, he could smell it. The man himself had white hair just like he did himself, but he had over glasses.

"Hello," greeted the man.

"Hello," replied Kakashi tonelessly. He made sure to sound completely uninterested.

"My name is Ozpin," said Ozpin again trying to continue the conversation. "I heard about your strange powers, and wanted to ask you some questions."

"Sure," replied Kakashi completely throwing them off guard. They of course didn't know he was from a completely different world, and he'd love to leave them guessing.

Ozpin stayed quiet. He looked at Glynda. She shrugged back at him. They hadn't expected him to be so cooperative.

Ozpin cleared his throat. "How did you obtain your many powers."

Kakashi stared at the man, and blinked. All his power originated from chakra. His sharingan couldn't work without chakra, and so his answer would suffice as the truth. "I was born with them."

"Oh," replied Ozpin looking uncertain. He hadn't expected that answer out of all the things he had suspected. He could also tell this man wasn't lying.

Kakashi scratched his head confused. "Was that all you wanted to ask?"

Glynda, and Ozpin looked at each other. They had a silent conversation before continuing.

"No," replied Ozpin easily. "We also deduced that you are the informant of Team RWBY."

"I've never met them before," replied Kakashi looking the man right into the eye amused.

They both stared at each other. Ozpin couldn't believe the blatant lie Kakashi was trying to tell him.

"I've like to know what you make of the White Fang's movement," continued Ozpin as if he hadn't heard Kakashi's blatant lie. Now he understood Glynda when she said the man was annoying. "What do you make of them?"

"I get the feeling you two know something I don't," answered Kakashi. His eyes narrowed. "But if you want my opinion it'll only frighten you of how insightful I can be."

"That remains to be seen," replied Ozpin confidently.

"So you sent over your secretary to invite me to your school for this?" asked Kakashi. He would answer the man's question, but first he would like to get a clear picture on their view of him.

"Yes, and no," answered Ozpin. He took a sip of his tea. "Lately you've been the focus on Team RWBY. I myself did not know of their connection to you. It was worrying at first, but then after Glynda informed me about your connection to them I wanted to meet you in person to see what kind of man you are."

"Oh?" asked Kakashi curiously. He looked down at the man questioningly. "And what type am I?"

"Complicated," answered Ozpin without missing a beat. "Loyal, dangerous, and very cunning."

"You can tell can't you?" asked Kakashi amused. He crossed his arms standing his full height. "When I look at you I see a monster sitting before me."

Ozpin smirked. "And when I look at you I also see a monster in human form."

"Kakashi nodded. "You have my respect."

Ozpin nodded, Kakashi too had his respect. "Now about my question."

"Let's see," said Kakashi trying to piece everything he knew of the White Fang. "They are nothing more than pawns. Their leader is being manipulated by someone behind the curtain. If I had to say the White Fang is nothing more than a distraction to create fear."

"Fear?" asked Ozpin. It was just as he himself had suspected. People of course would call him crazy for his paranoia.

"Eventually they will use the dust they have stolen against Vale. Their goal is as clear as day. They hate anything human related," said Kakashi. He looked around. "And look here a city full of humans."

"But they lack man power to wage war," continued Ozpin. The White Fang maybe have plenty of members, but if they were to compare themselves against Vale. They were nothing more than ants.

"But who needs man power when there's an army waiting on Vale's doorstep," replied Kakashi dryly. "Why someone only need to welcome them in."

"And with the dust they've stolen-" said Ozpin.

"They can blow a hole through the walls," continued Kakashi. He sighed. "But you know all this."

"And so do you," replied Ozpin with an impressed look.

"But you fail to see underneath the underneath," said Kakashi with an unimpressed tone.

"What's that?" asked Ozpin curious. His mind trying to understand what Kakashi meant by underneath the underneath.

"Everything that's happening out there, everything that will happen," said Kakashi with a shake of his head. "It's nothing more than a glorified distraction. It's like this person is giving you telltale signs of what will happen, but in reality it's a big distraction."

"A distraction for what?" asked Ozpin. His eyes lit up in understanding.

"I don't know," answered Kakashi truthfully. He looked into Ozpin's eyes. "But it looks like you do."

"Thank you," said Ozpin with a grateful nod.

"I still don't understand," muttered Kakashi. He was in the dark, but he wasn't going to dig if he didn't have to. He didn't need to have them distrust him.

"It was a pleasure meeting you," said Ozpin. "Your insight have been invaluable but-"

"But how did I conclude this?" asked Kakashi knowing what Ozpin was going ask. He put his hand on his chin. "Because if I were to invade a city as big as Vale how would I truly go about it if I wanted the complete destruction of Vale."

Ozpin took a moment to think about it. This was troubling an invasion was coming to Vale. "Preparation."

Kakashi shook his head. "To catch it off guard. The invasion has to come out of nowhere. The city can't defend itself because if it realizes there's an invasion it won't work. None of this is happening, which means it's a ruse"

"And a city as big as Vale would not fall, not unless it's another nation attacking," concluded Ozpin. The White Fang didn't have the resource a nation did. The Grimms were of course dangerous, but they could be repelled. "So it's not a invasion?"

Kakashi sighed, but shook his head. "An invasion may or may not happen. Whatever happens will simply be a distraction. This is all my guess, but as I said before it's a distraction. Vale won't fall even if an invasion did happen. The city is too strong to simply fall in such a way."

"I see," replied Ozpin. He nodded as he started to understand. "You're a very smart man Kakashi. Have you already concluded what I think you did?"

Kakashi nodded. He snuck a glance at Glynda who had stayed quiet the entire time. "As I've said I truly have no idea what you two are hiding, but my guess is you simply aren't a school teacher."

"That's correct," confirmed Ozpin with a nod. "And what else."

"Hmm," mused Kakashi thinking things through. "Maybe there a weapon here in Vale that this person behind the curtain wants."

"How frightening," replied Ozpin impressed. Kakashi was wrong about the weapon, but he was also right. "Your deduction skill is frightening."

Kakashi snuck a look as Glynda again. She look bothered.

"I would like to ask one more thing of you Kakashi," requested Ozpin. He looked serious.

"What would that be?" replied Kakashi.

"When the time comes will you side with Vale?" asked Ozpin slowly. If Kakashi didn't answer correctly than this school might very well be destroyed. An individual as powerful as Kakashi, and frighteningly smart was a threat. He couldn't let such a man walk away from him if he turned out to be a threat.

Kakashi chuckled amused. This question he hadn't even considered it before, but the words came out his mouth without thinking about it. "Vale is my home."

Ozpin smiled. "Have a good night Kakashi. Hopefully we can meet more often friend."

Kakashi nodded. He looked back at Glynda waiting for her to escort him out.

"You can walk out yourself." She said and left.

Kakashi looked back at Ozpin.

Ozpin shrugged. "She's very tolerate of you."

"Somehow I doubt that," muttered Kakashi trying to remember the way he came in. It was a pretty big school. He wasn't going to abuse Kamui to escape a little elaborate school.
