Beatrice Bixby let out a soft annoyed sigh as a younger woman circled her speaking a million words per minute.
"I didn't think that you would actually still be working at that stupid copy shop I mean come on what's the point? What you need to do is find a more stable career because I'm not even sure that that cutie Dave is going to keep you as an employee with the whole Lady What-it thing-"
"Lady Redundant Woman," bristled Beatrice.
"Right…Who came up with that name anyways? I mean come on!"
Briana Bixby was Beatrice's younger sister, but had somehow taken control as the over bearing older sister who wouldn't leave the younger alone! Beatrice for one was trying to block her sister's voice out but was failing miserably.
"And the repeating thing's getting old sis, I get it you're a copy machine!" blond hairs rested on Briana's forehead and she hastily pushed them back.
"I have no control over it," snapped Beatrice, "It just happens, occurs, and transpires!"
"Riiight," Briana rolled her eyes.
The two women set about starting their days, showering and eating breakfast before Briana spoke to her sister again, "Mom wants you to visit."
Beatrice's eyes widened then narrowed in an effort to hide her surprise, "Oh?" she asked casually as she slipped on her jacket. Briana nodded, "She keeps coming to me saying that you're avoiding her, and I'm starting to think that she's right!"
"That shows you how much you know, I've been busy!" Beatrice replied tersely.
The two looked at each other in silence, and then both let out a soft sigh at the same time. "I hate visiting her too you know," Briana said, "but it's not like we live with her anymore."
"That is true, accurate, correct…But I don't just have mom I have you," Lady Redundant Woman flashed a sarcastic smile at her sister.
The younger Bixby girl fumed, "Hey, at least I care enough to visit! But if you don't want me to visit then fine, you can stay in your empty little apartment alone for eternity! Oh wait, you have that stupid copy machine to keep you company, why haven't you tied the knot yet?"
Beatrice could stand her sister's harsh words quite well, that is until Briana had brought up the copy machine!
"That stupid copy machine? How dare you?!" with one swift motion Beatrice pressed a finger to her nose and she was dressed as Lady Redundant Woman.
Briana swallowed hard, "Hey, B I didn't mean…"
Copies of Beatrice Bixby surrounded Briana, each glowering at the younger girl with scowls on their pale faces.
Briana seemed to curl into a ball as the copies circled closer to her; finally she let out a terrified scream. Beatrice looked at her sister for a moment, and then pressed a finger to her nose. The copies all fell into a pile of copy paper on the hardwood floor.
Briana cried into her sleeve, not looking at the hand her sister extended for her to take.
"I'm sorry," the younger girl said between sniffles.
"Apologies, regrets…Sorry," Lady Redundant Woman without thinking changed into her regular clothes, only then did Briana take her sister's hand.
Briana was lifted to her feet where she stared at her sister with wonder, "You…You were really scary!" she yelped.
Beatrice felt a swell of pride at that, at least she could scare her sister. "I guess that's what makes you a good villain huh?" Briana added as she gave a crooked smile.
"I'm not that great," LRW shrugged, "well ok, maybe a little great, amazing and spectacular."
Briana rolled her eyes, "Whatever, I can never pay you a compliment."
Once again the two were staring at each other, marveling at how well they were getting along. It wouldn't last though, neither were exactly easy to get along with in the first place, putting them in the same room just made things worse.
But at this moment Beatrice was glad her sister was there, and she wasn't alone.
Not sure if this has any deep meaning, I just wanted to give Beatrice Bixby a sibling…Whether she actually has one is kind of switching in my mind, so in my world Briana might not exist (if you can understand what I'm trying to say)
I was originally going to have this be a stand-alone thing but I decided not to do it considering how short it was…I'm rambling.
