Hi Guys!

I thought I was going to have this done earlier but I got busy. With my classes starting on the 12th, I want to have at least a chapter almost done or already done so I don't keep you all waiting too long if I get busy with homework or something. But yeah my social life is getting crazy busy. For like no important reason? People like to hang with me I guess.

Okay I want to thank everyone who's reading, I got a lot of visitors for the last chapter and I hope to hear from you soon! Speaking of hearing from people I want to thank DisShattered for their encouraging review! It made me so happy to read.

Now on with the fic!

Chapter Six: I'll Do As I'm Told

"I don't understand why you keep on fighting me about this," Mana said.

Atem rolled his eyes, "I doubt it's as simple as you're making it seem to be."

Sunday had always been the day that Dartz and his boys would go to church and spend all day and practically all night out with friends. Sundays were looked forward to by the house and staff. They liked the freedom to spend their day doing their chores and relaxing without the fear of Dartz assigning more to do. Mana and Atem were out in the field loafing around, bathing in the sun with no care in the world. Dartz was out of their hair for yet another day and that was a blessing in itself.

Currently, Mana begun to hint that Atem might be falling for Prince Seth and Atem was blatantly refusing the notion. He didn't understand why Mana was trying to make something happen. His stepfather would never let such a thing occur or even let him think it. Not that the man could actually read his thoughts but sometimes he was convinced the man had some sort of power over him. He couldn't exactly figure out what it was when it came to his stepfather. He still wasn't sure what his mother had even seen in the man. Still, he didn't want to think about it just as he didn't want to think about what Mana was telling him.

"I believe you both are destined for each other. You've had three encounters with him and you've returned home breathless and flushed. The gods can strike me down if I am wrong," She said.

He sighed, "Yes I was breathless but all three times it was because I was running home. The first time was to show you the gold, the second time because I had to get home with Mahado before Dartz saw I was gone and last time due to Leon coming to get me and rushing me home before the other two came back. None of those were because a prince had romanced me. Please, he's not exactly the most romantic type."

He could tell Mana didn't believe him, not that he was able to stop her little mind from thinking what it wanted to think. All he wanted was to get his home back from the poison that took it from him in the first place. If that meant he had to watch Prince Seth marry Siegfried then by all means he would. Or at least that's what he had thought before, now things had changed. Sure he had only been around the prince a handful of times but the thought of seeing him actually marry Siegfried was out of the question. He would never wish that kind of fate on the prince. He could only imagine what would happen; the prince die and Siegfried take over? He did not want to live in that world. The sheer thought of it sent shivers coursing through him.

Still even if he was in the process of falling in love with the prince there was no way it would work out with a happy ending. He was a servant and Seth was the prince. Princes don't run and marry servants. They also don't really like being lied to but that was aside the point. The main point was any sort of relationship between the two of them wasn't going to work out and he was foolish if he honestly believed it would. Though in the back of his mind, he played around with the thought of: what if. What if the prince didn't care about him being a servant? What if he didn't care that he was lied to? What if he explained the whole thing and the prince actually understood? What if they did fall in love with one another? Prince Seth could make things happen that others couldn't. His parents were pretty desperate to marry him off, what if they didn't mind it was him rather than a noble? What if they saw the wrong Dartz had done and decided to help him?

The last thought was a bit too much, even for him. Mana was getting to him, that sort of stuff didn't happen to people like him. He was going to respond being his usual sassy self when he heard horse hooves galloping nearby. He recalled that the prince had used a horse of theirs. Maybe he was returning it? Either way he couldn't be around when that happened. He dove into a hay pile, instantly regretting the choice of hiding spot, and waited to see. Mana would know how to handle it, right? She did know the pseudonym he was using so it shouldn't be that hard. Mana practically squealed in delight when she saw the prince coming close to her. She reminded herself that she had to keep her cool; she didn't want to say anything that would make him think she was weird.

She bowed as he pulled the horse close by her, "How may I help you, Your Majesty?"

"I'm inquiring about a young noble by the name of Akai he's supposedly staying with cousins. Do you know who they are?"Seth asked.

She nodded, "Yes I do! He's uh- um staying with his great uncle My Lord Dartz!"

Atem inwardly cursed, knowing full well that he was going to have to run back to the house and then explain everything to Seth later by coming up with more lies and remembering those lies. This was getting too complicated. Luckily, Mana was positioned where Seth had to turn away from Atem's hiding spot to look at her so all he had to do was make a break for it. Taking in a breath he ran to the house not looking back at what was going on behind him. He reached the house and relayed to Mahado what had happened and the man instantly gathered other servants together to dress him and get the straw out of his hair. By the time they were done, he looked very noble indeed. Everyone else was still trying to catch their breaths when the look-out said the prince was at the door. Atem and Mahado made their way to the front where the prince was.

"You have to tell him. The sooner it is the better things will be," The man said.

Atem nodded, "I know but…I'm not ready for this to be over."

"In that case you'll never be ready," He said as he pushed him gently toward the doors.

He was right; he was going to have to tell Seth the truth sooner or later. He still hadn't found the answer to the question as to why he was being so reckless with his life. He didn't want to think about it at the moment. He was dressed up nicely and had a prince of the other side of the door that was calling for him. Taking a breath he opened the door and let the light in to reveal said prince. Seth was looking rather perfect as he always did. This time he wasn't on the horse but there was a carriage. So he did return the horse after all. He reminded himself to give the horse some extra sugar cubes.

Seth cleared his throat, "I'm rather surprised to see you here. But, that's beyond the point. I was wondering if you would like to skip church with me and go see the library the monks have."

"That would actually be very nice. I've heard about the library but I haven't actually seen it," Atem replied, "though I'm sure you're bound to be missed at church today."

Seth shook his head as they both got in the carriage that was waiting for them, "Perhaps but at least this way I get to spend my leisure time with someone I actually want to have around me."

"Why Prince Seth," Atem gasped in a playfully mocking tone, "I feel so honoured that you wish to spend your time with me!"

Seth rolled his eyes as Atem laughed. He found himself thinking that Akai had a very lovely laugh, try as he might he couldn't get his mind off of it. He had never been fond of the monks, their singing or their library but seeing Akai's eyes light up the way they did when he mentioned it, told him he was making the right choice in bringing him there. The carriage ride was long enough for both of them to talk to one another and Atem took the time to tell him about the books he read and would still read. Darts had no idea that he would go into the library and take books to read later on or when he had time. It wasn't like his stepfamily actually read, Leon did but he didn't care that Atem would take books to read.

Seth was pretty impressed to say the least. He was an avid reader but he wasn't as passionate about it as Akai clearly was. Still, he couldn't help but notice how excited the other was when talking about the books he read and explaining them to him. He made them seem way more exciting than they really were. When they got to the library, Atem was wandering around looking at books and scrolls as if they were the holy scriptures. Seth followed him around quietly observing the books and scrolls that he was examining. This man's thirst for knowledge and the written word sparked something in the Prince's mind.

What if he created an institution of learning?

It wasn't like it was new or anything but, going with Akai's idea of equality, he thought this institution would be open to everyone regardless of social standing. As long as there was a thirst for learning from the students, all would be welcomed. He wondered what Akai would think of his idea. It also hit him that he needed to see what his father would think of the idea, plus the funding for such an undertaking. He wanted it to be grand. Surely there was a place in the kingdom that had a foundation they could build upon. It would save money and also be of use once again. The wheels in his mind were turning and turning. What would he name such a place? It couldn't be such an abstract name but it couldn't too formal sounding either. Still, the name had to be a perfect fit with the rest of the kingdom. What could he name it?

"Are you alright, Prince Seth?"

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at Akai, "I'm fine. Let's just say I might have received an epiphany."

"Well it must have been a very important one. You've been in that same spot for over thirty minutes," Atem said calmly.

The Prince blinked and then looked at a nearby clock, "Oh I see. I didn't realise just how late it actually is. We should leave before it gets dark."

"Alright…" Atem said putting the book he had away.

Seth smirked, "If it was up to you, you would live in here forever, wouldn't you?"

"Imagine actually living here, every day reading all of these books. There would never be enough time in a life to read all of these. I wish there was, perhaps if I had been here since I was a boy," He replied back with a sigh.

The ride had been surprisingly quiet, Atem was still trying to process everything that library had to offer while Seth was getting his thoughts together about the institution of learning. Yet, as all things tend to go once in awhile, things didn't seem to want to work out as smooth as they should have. It started when they had hit a rather large rock on the road that had dislodged one of the wheels. The two passengers were sent crashing into one another; the coachmen stopped the horses and went to inspect the damage. They scrambled to fix it but they were going to end up having to send for help.

Atem, not liking the idea of waiting for who knows how many hours until help could arrive, wanted to start walking back. Claiming he knew the way and by the time the carriage was fixed, they would easily catch up to them and pick them up. Seth wasn't too fond of the idea of walking the whole way back but decided to trust Akai and his sense of direction. The coachmen were rather entertained with the idea of the prince walking the way back so it wasn't hard to convince them the pair was going to be fine. Atem liked walking and seeing how beautiful nature was and somehow ended up losing the trail.

"How does one lose a trail?"Asked Seth, "Because it's literally a path one follows to get home. So how is possible that you got off of the path and now can't find it?"

Atem rolled his eyes, "I might have gotten sidetracked, I don't see you still following the path either so it's not like I'm alone in losing the path. If you were so concerned you should have left breadcrumbs or something like that one story."

"Are you mad? Did you not finish that story? First of all, I don't have breadcrumbs to leave. Second, the birds ate the crumbs and then they get to a witches house who tries to eat them. I do not want to have to save you from getting fattened up and eaten by the witch," The Prince said.

He did not expect the prince to have known that story but said, "So why would I be the one who gets eaten by the witch and you're the one who gets spared?"

"I'm royalty, she can hold me for ransom and get money from me, and you're disposable to a witch. As unfortunate as it would be," The other responded.

Atem didn't like the idea of being eaten by a witch. His step-family would somehow bring him back to life just to kill him again for being eaten in the first place. They were going to get out of these woods by tonight or at least before his step-family noticed he was gone. First thing he had to do was to look around for the tallest tree so he could climb it and look to see where the trail was. Then they go to the trail and hopefully the carriage would be finished by then and passing by. After that then they go their separate ways and back home. Would they meet again? He certainly hopped so. He was having a great time with the prince. He was positive that his feelings were reciprocated.

Finding the tree, he asked for a boost up from Seth who looked rather confused. Sighing, knowing that he was just going to have to wing it, he jumped up, grabbing a sturdy branch and hoisting himself up on said branch and then proceeding to climb the rest of the tree. All the while, Seth was on the bottom staring up at him like he was half animal. It was a rather impressive feat; even he had to admit that he had yet to climb something so high. He supposed there was a first time for everything. Once he was high off of the ground, he looked around to see if he could see the trail. If by chance, he couldn't see the trail, he would have to climb down, either try to go back or forward, find another tree to climb and look from it. He was really hoping to at least find the trail the first time.

"You free servants, give them a day off, read a ton of books and climb trees. Is there anything you can't do Akai?" Seth called out from below.

The question caused pride to well up inside Atem, from that point of view, he did sound rather impressive. He smiled brightly, knowing that the other wasn't going to see him. Dramatically he replied, "Fly! I would give anything to fly!"

"So you see anything that can help up find our way back to the trail?" the prince called to him.

He nodded, feeling relief pass through him, "I see the trail! It's northeast of where we are so if we keep walking in a northeastern direction, we'll be bound to reach it in no time. Also, we aren't that far from the city either, we'll be back before night fall for sure. Now I'm coming down, be prepared to walk again."

It was strange when he received no reply from the prince. Perhaps he was sulking? Was he the type to sulk? He carefully maneuvered his way back down from the tree slowly, hoping he would reach the bottom before the second coming. He snorting, imagining someone who was stuck in a tree when the second coming actually happened. He didn't really have much time to mull it over before he reached the bottom. Still with a smile on his face, he looked around for the prince who was nowhere to be found.

Weren't they just speaking to one another just a second ago? Far as he knew, princes usually don't know how to disappear. Knowing he couldn't let his mind wander, and marking the tree for reference, he looked for the prince but didn't get that far when he was face to face with none other than Akefia. That was when he remembered that Akefia had a group of vagabonds who stole from travelers and such. How could he have been so dumb as to wander right into his camp? He should have stayed in with Seth by the carriage; at least they would have had a guarantee of getting home. He backed up until he hit a tree and was forced to look up at Akefia smirking away.

"Well, well, look what I have here. I get a prince and I find little Atem as well. Just what are you doing with the prince, I wonder?" Akefia said letting his hand caress the other's cheek.

Atem just wanted to melt into the tree but he knew he couldn't, "He thinks I'm some nobleman named Akai. Please don't tell him who I am nor tell Dartz about this, I beg of you Lord Akefia."

The lord was silent for the longest time as if he was thinking about this situation over and over again. It was a juicy situation, the prince with a nobleman who's really a servant? It was more than what he could have expected. Dartz would eat his own heart out if he knew about this. Still, he couldn't help but be jealous of the prince, to have such an opportunity with Atem. But what could he do but deal?

"Very well Atem but you're going to owe me for this little favor I'm doing for you and you know I always come and collect when the time is right," Akefia whispered in his ear, "and you will pay what I ask for."

Atem nodded, feeling uneasy and relieved, "Now where is the prince?"

Yami woke up on Saturday morning with a start, thinking he was late for school. Remembering where he was and what day it was, he relaxed. It felt like his night was never going to end but morning seemed to have come way too soon. He stretched and began to dress and get ready for whatever was going to happen today. Once he went to the kitchen he noticed Ryou was already up and doing things. Did he run on batteries? Maybe he was used to getting up at like nine in the morning on the weekends. The white haired teen smiled at him and gave him some waffles he had made and juice. All of it was really good and they spent more time talking about what happened the night before.

"You both actually thought you broke the Kaiba Seto?" Ryou laughed, "I wish you had taken a picture so we could have seen this."

Yami nodded, "I know right? If it happens again, I'll be sure to take a picture for you all. Maybe I'll break him when we get to class and everyone will see it. Still I don't know how I did it."

"If you did it would be a great super power to have over him. Anyway, did you rest well? Everyone is coming over around eleven or so. I don't know what the plan is, as if we actually stick with a plan," Ryou said.

It was true. They could have made the best plan ever and it would change instantly. It was never a good idea for them to think of plans if they never kept them. Still, someone would want to have an idea of what they were doing. Yami stifled a yawn as he nodded; there was no way he was going to be convincing that he was sleeping well. He swore he slept great.

"Is it those dreams you have? Anzu had told me about them to see if I could look up anything about dreams. But I don't know what you dream about," Ryou explained.

Yami was thoughtful for a moment before speaking, "Well, I've had these dreams for a while now, they started getting more vivid recently. I don't know, it's like I'm playing one of those interactive game and I'm one of the characters. It's the only way I can explain it. But I don't understand why this is happening."

"Some of the spiritual people I was looking for reference say that dreams are usually memories of the past and kind of why people get déjà-vu. Psychologist say dreams are random memories and no one in a dream is someone you've haven't see. I think dreams try to tell us important things. Of course it's all theory," The teen said.

It was true, it was all theory. Were his dreams trying to tell him something? If so, then what was the message that he was supposed to be receiving? In his dreams his life was just like the one he was living now, the only thing he was getting was that in no matter what kind of life he had, he was bound to get the short end of the stick. It didn't feel exactly fair on his part; didn't he deserve some sort of happy ending? Or was he going to be under Pegasus' thumb for the rest of his life? He shivered; honestly he really hoped he wasn't going to. He was trying to get away from the man. Then there was the Bakura thing in both his dreams and in his reality. He didn't know who was worse, the one in his dream or the one in real life. Both of them were one in the same.

Still, he couldn't seem to place who the other guy was in his dream. While he was in the dream, he knew that guy's name, face and everything but the moment he woke up, it was lost. Yet there was something very important about him but he couldn't remember. That was the really sucky part of it all, he couldn't remember for his life. He wanted to know who that guy was! It wasn't right for him to not remember who it was. He would have thought more about it but his phone beeped, telling him he got a text. Ignoring Ryou's knowing smile, he looked down at his phone.

{Are you in your right mind already?}

He smirked to himself and replied carefully, 'If you mean if I've slept well, yes I did. Are you in your right mind this morning?'

If he could pride himself with anything, it was being sassy as hell. He was sure he was very entertaining for BlueEyes1025. Hopefully the other didn't regret being friends with him. It would be such a shame if he did. He looked up at Ryou who was also texting someone. It was probably Yugi, if he went by the smile on Ryou's face. It was so cute seeing them tip toe around each other and he was kind of growing impatient as a part of him wanted the pair to make it official already and just start dating already. It was so obvious! Ryou looked up from his phone to Yami with blush dusting his face.

Yami leaned on the table closer to him, "You know, everyone kinda knows about the two of you. You should come out with it. You'll have support from all of us."

"Well, we know that you guys will be supporting. Even his grandfather is telling him the same thing you're telling me. It's just- I don't know if we're both kind of ready to take that step and do something like that. If we're going to make it official we both want to be really sure it's what we want," Ryou answered.

He nodded, understanding where the other teen was coming from on that. Should he just take the initiative or take it slow until he knew they were both ready? It was the question that never seemed to have the best answer. Jou was always one to throw caution to the wind and roll with it. Anzu was a bit more tentative than that. While he wasn't sure what he was. His phone made noise again as he got a response.

{I am. My day is going to be busy all day. If I get bored I'll text you. What are you doing today? Oh wait, you guys aren't good with plans. I would hate all of your friends for not following plans.}

He chuckled a bit as he wrote back, 'Just because you have plans A-Z doesn't mean that everyone else is exactly like you. We like to go with the flow. Perhaps you should try it.'

{Why would I try that? Nothing productive would get done. You should try a more structured day, maybe that would be you would actually like.}

"Do I really want to know what your friend is saying?" Ryou asked curiously.

Yami replied, "He doesn't like the fact that we suck at keeping plans. Of course, he's all about plans so if he hung out with us for a day he would probably die inside as we make plans and never keep them."

"Are you ever going to meet him eventually or is it going to stay a mystery?" Ryou asked before going to answer the door.

That was a question he probably should think about. Were they ever going to meet? They hadn't ever spoken about it. What if they met each other and they didn't like who the other was? Or better yet, what if BlueEyes1025 met him and didn't like him? That would really hurt him but he wasn't sure if he could blame the other, it could be the other way where he doesn't like BlueEyes1025. It was doubtful, he usually liked everyone- unless it was Bakura. He thought about asking if he was Bakura or not but then he would have to explain that and he didn't know how to go about it. So he didn't, instead he was being hugged by Anzu. He didn't see why she was hugging him so tight, it was only one night.

The plan had begun with them going to the movies, then someone wanted to get some pizza and it ended up with them going to get some wings. Then the strangest thing happened, their teacher Mai apparently had a part time job at the wing place so when she saw her students, she was a bit surprised but was nice. She had even given them a great discount and helped Jounochi with what he wanted and talked him out of getting the hottest wings they had and got something else. It was very funny to see Jou stumble on talking or fluster whenever Mai laughed. For sure, they were going to be teasing him on this for the rest of the day. When a love song came on, everyone would sing it and change the name from whatever it was to Mai and Jou would look away and flush and glare at them. He even threatened to leave but he never did get up.

The rest of the day was spent doing whatever they wanted and late at night, they ended up at a karaoke bar singing every song they knew. They kept encouraging Ryuji to go up and sing and though he sounded bad, his charisma made up for it. Plus, all the songs he chose were love songs to which he would serenade Anzu with. Everyone watched her turn a bright red and avoid looking at everyone. Yugi and Ryou sang a duet that no one really wanted to pick on them for singing. It was just too adorable to see. Jounochi decided he needed the attention on him and went up next to sing a song that was annoying but everyone knew. Yami played with the idea of singing something but, he didn't know what to sing and he didn't really want to make a fool of himself either. After seeing Ryuji singing to Anzu again, he decided that everyone needed a change of pace and got up. They cheered him on as he looked thought the choices of music before settling a fun song. He even gave a little dance while he was singing.

Before he parted from Jou and Anzu he learned that Pegasus left last night with his sons, thus, leaving the two teens in charge of everything until he returned. That made staying with Ryou a much easier choice to make. Pegasus wasn't going to be home so he wasn't going to find out if Yami had actually gotten home when he said was or not. As much as he should have gone home on Sunday, he didn't want to. He liked the comfy bed, Anzu and Jou didn't seem to mind him being gone. He figured they were probably staying with other people too like Yugi or Ryuji. Feeling happy about the situation, he pulled out his phone and texted, 'My guardian isn't going to be home this weekend, actually, I don't know when he's coming back, but he's gone so I'm going to stay with Ryou until Monday. My sister thought I was going to stay so she brought me my uniform.'

It didn't take too long before he read the reply. {It's nice when things work out the way we want them too. Unfortunately for me, it's working out in the opposite way. Things aren't going my way and it's seriously pissing me off.}

He sighed, knowing full well his friend was probably going to want to talk about it without saying he did, and wrote, 'What happened? I know I can't really help you considering, I don't really know much about the things you do. You're not a drug dealer are you? Did your stash get taken in a raid?'

{Seriously? Yes, you have a point but I'm not into illegal business. Everything I do is perfectly legal. Haven't you ever heard of people our age running companies before? Or what rock do you live under?}

Yami shook his head, ignoring the looks he was getting in Ryuji's car, 'The only person I know like that is guy who sits next to me in class that I call the world's biggest ass.'

"So what does your boyfriend say?" Ryuji asked, "Is he sending you nudies? I would so send nudies to someone I liked. How about you, Ryou? Do you send nudies or is that more Yugi?"

Ryou blushed, "I-we- we don't do those sorts of things Otogi!"

"Not everyone is so ready to take off their clothes Magic Mike style like you are Ryuji and no he's not sending me nude photos. He's not the type who would," Yami answered trying not to laugh. Though he did know that, if given the chance, Ryuji would definitely send Anzu nude photos of himself because he was that into his body.

Ryou scolded, "You should be ashamed of yourself for even thinking such things about Yami's boyfriend in the first place."

"Hey I'm just being real about it! We don't know what kind of guy Yami's boyfriend is in the first place. He could be a sexual deviant for all we know," Ryuji said calmly.

Yami stared at them incredulously, "He's NOT my boyfriend guys. He's NOT sending me nudies and he's NOT a sexual deviant. I'm sure any of those topics would have come up by now in our conversations."

Ryuji, though one of the best friends anyone could have, sure could be a jackass when he wanted to be. Though the thought of BlueEyes1025 being some kind of sexual deviant was kind of laughable. Try as he might he could never imagine the guy he was texting into anything like that. It would be such a shock if he was but the thought soon escaped as they made it to Ryou's apartment and the two were deciding if they wanted to have a snack or not. One snack turned into a variety of snacks and watching some movies that Ryou had before they both called it a night.

Sunday ended up being a lazy day for the two of them. Anzu and Jounochi showed up with Ryuji, Honda and Yugi. Everyone had brought something to share just as Ryou and Yami also made something for everyone to have. Luckily, Yugi had brought drinks and dessert thanks to his grandfather. So they weren't over powered by so much food. It was nice and naturally the conversation changed from the usual to the perverted. Ryuji really didn't know when to keep his mouth shut when it came to certain things. Anzu pretended to be anywhere but there, wondering why in the hell she was friends with so many boys in the first place. Why couldn't she be friends with other girls? Well, she was but they were mostly online so it wasn't like they held much back either.

'You're so lucky you don't have perverted friends like mine. I mean, I do like them but sometimes…' Yami texted.

{I don't really care for friends. Frankly, I don't see why friends are so important to have. What are your friends talking about?}

Seto had a busy weekend of meetings, planning for meetings and paperwork. Talking to Dark_Magician318 could possibly the most normal relationship he had so far with someone who wasn't his family. He didn't know what to make of that, just how did this complete stranger get him to open up about things? Granted, he did ask odd questions in the middle of the night. He was silently relived when he was still getting messages from him. The people around him were so disposable it was easy for their faces, names, and personalities to blend with one another since they came and went so fleetingly. Aside from Mokuba being a constant, Dark_Magician318 was beginning to be one of those constant figures in his life. Still, he came with some crazy friends apparently.

[You're so lucky you don't have perverted friends like mine. I mean, I do like them but sometimes…]

He rolled his eyes, thinking those friends seemed to be rather simple minded as he wrote, 'I don't really care for friends. Frankly, I don't see why friends are so important to have. What are your friends talking about?'

He was lounging with his brother when he had more time to text his 'friend' (he did not have friends nor did he ever need them). Mokuba had control of the remote and was watching some silly cartoon on TV that he wasn't really paying attention to. His mind was still on work and the projects he was going to have to talk to some people about. He briefly looked down at his phone when he heard it buzzing softly in his hand. He might have looked at it too quickly but it wasn't like anyone around him was going to notice that. Mokuba was pretty absorbed with his show. He instantly was regretting his choice of reading the text at this time, with his brother so near him.

[For one they keep insisting that you're my boyfriend and two, one of my crazier friends is still claiming that you some sort of sexual deviant and saying you're probably sending me nude photos of yourself. They don't believe that we haven't actually seen each other at all.]

He almost threw his phone across the room. What sort of crazy friends did he have that thought those things? Seto felt his right eye twitch in annoyance as he reasonably tried to think of a response without blowing up and going on some rant about how exactly he was feeling about those friends. Just who did they think they were accusing this Kaiba Seto of sending nude photos or being some deviant? He was looking up the numbers of his lawyers when it struck him that those people didn't know it was him. On the reverse side, he didn't know who they were either. That would make it hard to sue someone for slander if neither party knew who it was. It wasn't worth the effort he would put into it if he had gone through with it and called his lawyers up.

He glared at his phone as he replied, 'That is disgusting they think those things. I think you need to consider new friends.'

[LOL. You would be the one to tell me that.]

Right as he was calming down, another thought struck him. He hadn't ever met this person though they had been talking for a long time. Should he consider meeting them? Where would this happen? Would Dark_Magician318 think their relationship had moved toward meeting each other? They hadn't ever spoken about it so he had figured that it wasn't on the table. Was it on the table? This was some new information that was going to take a long time to process. By the time he was in bed, he figured the thought of meeting his texting partner wasn't going to be one of those bad things after all.

So what did you think? TELL ME!

I want to clarify a few things, a lot of period movies I've seen have a lot of church kind of references and I wanted to go along with that. So that's why this chapter seems to be full of them, plus, they were with monks. It goes with the territory.

I know there are a lot of questions that weren't answered. Plus, WHERE IS SETH? I guess we'll see in the next chapter right? Don't forget to review! See you guys soon~!

With Love,
