*Laughs Nervously* Heyyyyyy guys. Its, um, been a while. For those who wanna know about why I haven't been on in so long, read the italics. For those not concerned, skip the italics.
So, I was accepted to the culinary school, but couldn't afford to go so I ended up going to my local community college. During this time, I was majorly focused on school and fell out of writing for a long time. Wasn't till last year did I start writing again, but then I re-applied for the culinary school and was able to go this time. I went for a semester before making a decision that had honestly been coming for almost 6 months prior, which was to quit Culinary. I could have 100 excuses why it didn't 'pan' out (I'm very pun-y now so pun intended), but if I stripped it to a sentence, it's that I didn't have any passion for it.
I ultimately went home in the September of 2016, moved back in and tried to figure out what on earth I was gonna do with my life. I applied to jobs, but never landed one, so by October I just went back to my local community college to do gen eds and see if I could find anything I liked. Eventually I decided on animal science, and am leaning towards Vet Tech or Animal Behaviorist. I started getting back into writing over the break, although I did end up writing a 40,000-word monster for Minecraft Youtubers Angst in the Summer but it's extremely fragmented and I hardly count it as anything. Anyways, end of what's been life and onto the future.
Lo and behold, I made my way back to Fanfiction, not sure what I was expecting, but I saw a handful of wonderful comments asking me to update again as well seeing several hundred still check my story all the time.
Now I want to finish Night Stalkers, I even have the ending set up and I know where I want to go with this, but I'm torn. I, personally, feel my writing has vastly improved since I last posted here, hell I'm even 'attempting' to string a novel since I've had ideas bouncing around since senior year and am finally figuring out how to string them together- I'm rambling.
Basically, I want to finish this story, but my biggest issue is I worry that if I continue the story as is, there will be a huge disconnection between the old writing and the new, especially since it has been a minute since I've watched Hetalia and even thought of my portrayal of the characters. The only way I can see to prevent this is to go through the chapters and edit, update, and rewrite them one at a time before continuing the story. This would help me get a feel for my depiction of the characters and help the flow have consistency that will prevent the story from being choppy. Regardless of whether this is done before I post the new chapters or not, I will end up going through the chapters and doing this process.
-Edit one hour later, Edited prologue so feel free to make a judgement after reading that now! ^D^
Soooo I want to get all of your opinions, those who are still reading, what do you think. Although to be blunt if nobody says anything within a week, I'm going to opt for the update and revision of all the chapters.
As of Feb 27th, chapter two has been revised in addition to chapter one, with chapter three on the way. Feel free to re-read the chapters.
As of Feb 28th, Chapter 3 is updated as well, chapter 4 being later tonight or tomorrow as well.
