Following the disaster of the Titanic, we get a view of what the aftermath of the disaster had an impact on. Meanwhile, a survivor couple is put together under random circumstances, and as their story progresses both begin to learn more about the other and a darker thing going underneath which could affect the world. (Note: Anthro characters have more human characteristics.)

The year is 1923, two years before the events of the Diptheria epidemic in Nome. A stray husky sneaks aboard a transport line and arrives in Alaska by accident. There he meets Balto, their stories colliding at a young age for both of them. (Note: this is my first attempt at writing something styled like a book, I hope you enjoy my prequel to the first Balto movie.)

Not everyone is how they seem on the surface and being a part of the wrong crowd can make one do things they'll regret. Take our good old friend, Star, here. Naturally a very sweet soul, he would find himself in a flurry of emotions after teaming up with Steele and the others against Balto. However, there's always hope to make amends.
