MY FAITHFUL READERS;

I am so sorry about disappearing. My new semester started, and I'm taking six classes + my job = HECTIC LIFE. But I've finally wrapped everything up, and started to plan my homework out ahead. Thankfully, that means I can finally breathe and come here! I havent even logged on for over a month I'm sure - it feels like its been years.

NOW I"M SORRY - this chapter doesn't have a lot to it, but I'm setting the stage up for next chapter! I will be typing it up soon, and I won't disappear for another few months without at least letting you guys know. Again, so sorry.

Also, I didn't know that people did this - but would you guys like me to reply to your reviews? I didn't know that was a thing until just now! Just a thought.

Thank you all for the Reviews/Favourites/Follows/etc. You all mean the world to me,

Enjoy~

"I will be here till you fall asleep, and when you awaken. I promise." I smiled down at the beautiful creature before me.

Her human optics drooped and I could sense her exhaustion, not too long after I gave her one last kiss did her breathing even out. My eyes traveled across her form, soaking in everything that I had missed these past few years. She had grown into her own; her human form resembled that of an average adult human female – though her chest area seemed a little large. I wonder if human beings find that a key quality in a mate. I wondered to myself as I sat in the silence of the base's medical room. After the explosion, everyone had been transported to their makeshift base just outside the human city of Washington D.C. I made sure that Delyia was seen as soon as we had reached the base, the Special Forces nurses and doctors taking her away quickly and patching her up efficiently. Though something set me on edge, I eyed the watch that laid on her wrist with unease. The doctors had talked with Lennox about it and they were concerned – seeing as no matter what they did they couldn't seem to pry the watch off of her. This sent up a few red flags in my processor, the only technology that strong would be something Cybertronian however Delyia had no way of getting that technology. Unless, my processor warned, unless she's siding with the Decepticons as well, and she's spying on you for them. I shook the though from my head immediately feeling ridiculous. Of all people, Delyia – a Decepticon spy? She was kidnapped for days, and no one knows what happened. I, again, tossed the idea out of my mind; there's no way Delyia could be a spy, right? What about Elita? She had been acting strong since the beginning, I reasoned with myself. As much as I wanted to think I had no doubts, there was a little voice in the back of my head screaming that something wasn't right. Just ask her when she awakens, maybe you should consult Sentinel. Deciding that was the best course of action I comm'd our ancient leader,

Sentinel?

Prime, What is the matter? He replied.

I would like your opinion on a matter.I started, unsure of how to continue.

Of course Optimus, what is on your mind?

I am currently having doubts on Delyia's Loyalty –

Optimus if I may.Sentinel hurriedly interrupted, and I waited in silence for him to continue.

I would not dwell on this worry. It does not suit us to concentrate on such matters. Right now, what we must focus on is keeping the space bridge out of Megatron's hands and if we begin to doubt our friends – we will surely loose this war.

Though doubt still clung in my heart, I had to admit that my spark slightly agreed with Sentinel's words.

Very well then.

That does not mean you shouldn't keep a loose eye on her, but do not twist her into something she is not. It will only bring about your ruin. Sentinel warned.

Thank you Sentinel, I will see you when the sun rises.

He bid me good-bye, and I returned to watching Delyia's slumbering form, doubt still in the back of my processor.

"Elita was a great loss, she was a direct line into the Autobot base." Megatron glowered as he paced in a darkened room.

"She just have to overload her processor, it's like she suddenly broke free of – "

"Shut up Starscream. I cannot hear any complaints now, there is much to do now that Elita is gone." Megatron snapped.

Starscream nodded, remaining silent.

"It seems that we are going to have to enact our plans sooner than anticipated."

"But sir – "

"Sentinel will keep his word, that is his only downfall. Stupid piece of scrap." Megatron snickered as Starscream laughed as well.

"Yeah, stupid fragging –"

"Starscream." Megatron glared, and the 'con soon shut his trap.

"What of the girl?" Starscream asked.

Megatron raised a metallic brow in thought.

"The doctor says she needs more time for the little 'cons to do their work. However, she should be feeling a difference soon enough. With some more time, her body should be primed to perfection and then all will fall into place." Megatron grew a wicked smile as he stared off into the unknown.

Soon, very soon, all will fall into place. This world will be mine, and Optimus Prime shall fall.

By the time I left the base hospital, and returned to Sam's home (under careful Autobot protection of Jazz and Bee) – Sam had already thrust himself into investigation mode. Sam had invited Simmons back into the picture and now Mikaela, Sam, Bumblebee, Jazz, Wheelie, and I were all figuring out what the Decepticons were doing down here on earth. I couldn't focus all my attention on what they were saying as my thoughts kept drifting back to Optimus. He had been acting strangely since I had awoken in the hospital, his optics kept glancing down at my wrists. I felt fear pang in my chest, What if he found out about the watch? I shuddered to think of the scene that would unfold if anyone found out about it. There's no way he found out, I consoled myself, if he had – he would've asked you by now.

"So humans are working for the Decepticons."

I felt my heart jolt awake as I looked at Sam with wide eyes.

"W-what?" I squeaked out, Mikaela looked at me with a confused glance.

"Delyia pay attention." Mikaela sighed.

"I don't think this is about the Decepticons looking for something on the moon. I think it's about something…. They wanted to hide." Simmons continued, ignoring my question.

In the background I could hear Sam's boss bugging Bee, and finally Simmons had had enough. He stood up, his chair tumbling behind him, red-face and spit flying he screamed at Brazos,

"We are having a pretty-high-leveled alien intel colab here – and I don't think you're cleared to be here errand boy!"

"It's time to go Bruce." Sam led his boss out, murmuring back and forth.

Brains began to talk about Russian cosmonauts as I drifted back into my head – OH my god they are finding out too much about these Decepticons and their interactions with humans. What if they find out about the watch too? What if they somehow get a signal that it's a Decepticon piece of machinery? I nervously glanced down at the watch, my mind could still feel its sting from the first time it had conjoined with my body. Stop freaking out Delyia, you'll only look suspicious if you continue to do this. I tried shaking it off just as the door to the apartment flew open. In strode the blond-haired devil herself, in her seven inch Louis Vuitton heels – that I'm sure her boss bought her.

"Could somebody please tell me what the hell is going on?" She furiously yelled at us, looked of shock spread through the crowd.

"What is she doing here – her as well – and who are you?!" She pointed to each person as she screamed at Sam.

"Who are you? Dutch – Frisk her!" Simmons yelled to a light haired Russian who emerged from seemingly nowhere and took a step towards Carly.

"Do not touch me." Carly held up a hand and glared back at Sam.

"No Dutch it's not nec-"

"I'm not going to touch her." Dutch interrupted and stalked off to a corner.

"Sam?" Carly looked at him expectantly.

"Angel – we're uh – well we're working. I'm so sorry about this." Sam apologized, causing Mikaela and I to roll our eyes.

The two of them continued upstairs, whispered arguing being heard the entire way. I looked to Mikeala with a heated stare,

"I do not know why he left you for her." I scoffed and sent a pointed glare up towards them.

Mikaela sighed and shrugged,

"I don't get it either, all they ever seem to do is fight. At least we're talking like normal human beings now."

I nodded, "You two belong together."

"Delyia please don't –"

"No Mikaela, you made me listen and now you need to hear this. Those two – " I pointed up at Sam and Carly, " – are not going to last forever. You need to let Sam know how you feel, and I need to get Carly out of the picture. You both deserve to be happy, and that's not going to happen if the two of you aren't together."

"I don't know.." Mikaela worriedly looked at the ground for a moment, pondering the idea.

Carly then stormed down the stairs, making sure to send a nasty stare our way, before slamming the door behind her. A grief-stricken Sam scurried out a few seconds later, we could hear him yelling Carly's name all the way down the apartment's stairs. When he returned a few moments later, he face looked sunken in, eyes red-rimmed, and he was holding a stuffed white rabbits foot. I raised a brow, but said nothing as I walked to him, gathering him up in my arms. I knew Sam wouldn't cry in front of all of us, but when he was alone I'm sure he'd shed a tear or two – he was a big softie at heart.

"I'm pretty sure Carly and I are done now." Sam whispered as Simmons and Dutch whisked us out of the apartment and onto the trail of some Russian astronauts.

I rubbed his back, as we sat in the back seat of our beloved Camaro, Mikaela sitting on the other side.

"It's okay Sammy. If it's meant to be it'll work out. Though, I know you'll be happier without her. You two just constantly fight it seems like.." I tried to comfort him, but I knew he needed to hear those words.

Sam just shrugged and continued looking out the window.

As we approached a shady bar, Simmons walked up to the door and tried to answer with something Russian. The man closed the door on his face and Simmons tried once more, the guy not budging. Finally, Simmons handed the man a hundred dollar bill and they went through.

"I'm going to stay by Bee and Jazz if that's alright with you guys." I called after them as I leaned against Bee.

He chirped in response as we waited for them to come out. Not too long after Sam had entered the bar with the gang, did I hear sound of gun-shots and fighting. After the commotion ceased, the whole group burst out of the bar stampeding towards us.

"Call Mearing! We have to get to Sentinel now!" Sam screamed as we all piled in the car.

"What's going on?" I asked as we sped off to who knew where.

"Sentinel is the key – and the Decepticons are after him. We have to protect him." Sam explained as we continue to the new base.

"But won't Sentinel be safe in the new base?" I asked, how could they find him there?

Sam shook his head, "No I don't think he will. Decepticons have their hands in a lot, they could possibly know the location of the second base. I mean they knew the location of the first. We're going to have to put him in hiding, along with the pillars."

"Bee, Jazz, what is going on?" Optimus's voice crackled over the radio.

Bee instantly let out a series of whirrs and buzzes, what seemed like a dubstep song, in a hurried tone. Optimus remained silent for a moment before responding,

"Now it all makes sense."

He understood that? I thought shocked.

"I am fifteen minutes away from NEST base, I will speed to you with haste." Optimus signed off.

I worriedly looked at Sam and Mikaela, I hoped we would all make it out of all of this alive.

~*~ NEST Base ~*~
"Mearing! I just got Sentinel, Optimus is about ten minutes out."

I could hear the stick in the arse woman muttering something on the other line as we approached the base.

"Listen it was all a scam from the very beginning! They used you guys to get the Matrix to revive Sentinel, so that way they could use the pillars – No no, you only have five pillars. I just learned that there are hundred of them. What do you want me to say – The Decepticons are coming for Sentinel Prime!" Sam groaned as he battled with Mearing.

What am I supposed to do? I worriedly thought as I looked to the watch. What if it suddenly starts beeping – what am I going to do?!

"We have an Energon reading." Someone crackled over the radio.

"Currently tracking – three black suburbans."

Oh shit. I gasped as I saw Barricade, and two other Decepticons plow towards us.
