Here's Chapter 13, Needless to say this has been well overdue. I asked God, the Universe, whatever you want to call it over and over to provide me with some kind of spark (no pun intended) to break me from my writers block. Half of this chapter sat unfinished for months, and finally today I have broken my writers block. For those of you who managed to stick around to wait, do not fret. As the 14th chapter is being written as you now read this chapter.
I promise to do better, I love you all.

PS: I thought this music would go well with the feel of the chapter, for those of you really wanting to get into it:

And as always,

Enjoy~

"I was once known as Delyia, sister of Samuel Witwicky -"

Optimus took her in, she would stand with her head just under his own, tall for the average femme. Her chassis was a matte black that glinted against the harsh rays of sunlight with streaks of a dulled silver running through. She was, from an outer appearance, a cybertronian; Optimus would not have been able to tell the difference if he were to have passed her in the streets of Cybertron. This set his spark on edge as wisps of her human form danced at the edge of his mind, she would never be the same. A sinking feeling settled itself at the bottom of Optimus's spark as he looked to her optics, they were not the typical glaring vermillion as per the average Decepticon; no they were a lighter color, almost a dusty rose. As the Autobot leader continued to study her optics, he noticed the light flicker of an almost electric blue behind the rouge. She is in there, and she is fighting – how will I be able to defend the city from her now?

—-

"Then you must perish instead." Delyia's voice cracked, her processor raw.

A flash of silver blinded Optimus as he felt the pressure of Delyia's weight lift from his own form. He turned his head to see Jazz rolling away with her, Jazz's servos trying to prevent her from successfully landing a blow to his chassis. Megatron cackled as he pulled himself up, energon leaking from his lips,

"Foolish scrap, you will never be able to stop her. I made sure of it."

"What have you done Megatron!" Optimus bellowed, the shock ebbing away from his mind.

"I have created your final demise, Prime. It is either you or her now." He howled with a mocking laughter.

"I will find a way," Optimus murmured to himself as he turned his attention back to Delyia and Jazz.

Optimus, the femme silently cried out, just end it all - She and Jazz finally rolled to a stop. Jazz had been mostly flicking her arms out of the way as she threw punch after punch. Delyia could feel her spark thrum with anger, why wasn't anyone fighting back - this is their job! They were here on earth to protect it from Decepticons, and now she was unwillingly one of them. The femme gave Jazz a sharp and mighty push, causing him to sail some yards away from her and land with a hard thud against the concrete. Delyia felt her body jump to its feet, readying itself for another attack. She found her optics trailing back to the Autobot Leader's form. With a quick leap, she was bounding towards him with a fist wheeled back ready to release.

"Attack me!" She bellowed as her fist collided with Optimus's faceplate, sending Optimus reeling towards the ground.

But the Autobot Leader did not retaliate, he merely got back on his feet and continued to study the femme before him. This only seemed to infuriate her spark as she realized he wouldn't be putting up a fight, then a slight panic rose in the back of her processor; what if he allowed her to destroy him? Delyia soon realized her only hope of stopping was Jazz, and maybe Ratchet or Ironhide - if they would get here in time. Her body seemed hell-bent on continuing its assault on the Autobot, as soon as he was settled on his feet her foot connected with his mouth plate and thrusted him back into a submissive position.

"Why won't you fight me?!" She heard herself scream as she landed another blow to the back of his head.

The femme thought she heard him whisper something, but before she could process it she felt a fist connect with her own faceplate. The force from the punch sent her tumbling back and into one of the nearby buildings. Once the bot collected herself, she stepped out of the rubble to see the familiar silver bot standing beside Optimus, his fist still outstretched. He was saying something to Optimus that she couldn't quite make out, but her body did not care as she was bounding towards them with fervor once more. The femme felt her fists heat and collapse as they shifted to two daggers, this was dangerous, she worried as she slashed and swiped at Jazz. The silver bot held up his own however as he could maneuver around each strike.

"Jazz, please –" Delyia's processor called out, "Just – "

"No." Jazz roared before slipped through her defenses and tackling her to the ground, "I won't kill you but I will – "

Her pedes didn't allow him to finish as he was once again soaring through the air, he crashed into a nearby building and disappeared. She rose once more, the fighting seeming to have finally taken a toll on her new form. Her gears groaned and she could feel her arms aching as she stomped towards Optimus. Will this body ever give in?

I cannot do this – Optimus thought as Delyia's pedes connected with his chassis, sending him reeling to the ground; Primus whatever I have done to anger you, I am sorry, you win. Delyia kicks the leader again, knocking him back down to one knee.

"You win, Primus." Optimus whispers, bracing himself again for another blow.

But it never came, Optimus instead heard Jazz's voice, "Optimus! Get up!"

The young silver bot looked down to his kneeling leader, "You can't give up yet – we have to find a way to subdue her. She can't be one of them, we can't let her stay as one of them." Jazz's voice wavered, as he looked on with a hope to his leader.

Optimus shook his head slightly, but remained silent as his gaze bore into the ground before him. Jazz huffed as Optimus heard what he assumed was Delyia's pedes storming towards them.

-Optimus, I am nearing your location. Is all well? – Optimus heard Ratchet's voice over their connection.

Optimus did not reply, but Jazz did.

- Ratchet, Optimus isn't doing well, I need you here now to subdue Delyia!—

-I am too clicks east, I will be there soon.—

-hurry—

Jazz didn't have much time to contemplate a plan as Delyia was ready to strike once again. The bot bent and slammed his shoulder into her chassis, sending her tumbling again. Jazz could feel a few wires had been stretched too far as he tried to shake off the immediate pain. The black bot was on her feet and shifting her gaze from himself to his broken leader beside him. He hoped that he could fend off Delyia till Ratchet arrived, his optics glancing at Prime once more. The silver bot mustered up the strongest war cry his processor would allow, charging at the femme once more. She snapped in his direction, a flicker of sunlight against the metal of her chassis blinded the bot for a moment, but a moment was all the femme needed. A searing pain erupted in his shoulder once again, more powerful than before. A bellow of pain escaped his throat as Jazz was sent tumbling backwards. When his optics gained focus again, his gaze fell left at the now empty space where his limb should be. Jazz numbly searched for his now missing appendage, only to find it in the clutches of the femme who took it. He stared in awe as his missing limb wriggled and thrashed in her grasp for a few moments before falling lifeless in her arms. My arm.. Jazz gasped as his mind caught up to what had just happened. Everything seemed to fade away in the bot's mind as he watched the femme crush his detached forearm and toss it in his direction. His limb rolled to a stop nearby, inanimate. Jazz faintly heard the sound of her stampeding in his direction, his attention still directed on his detached arm.

Am I going to kill him? Delyia inwardly cried, Please don't let me kill him, she prayed to whomever would be listening. Her body continued on, pounding against the concrete with her blade raised. She leaped and slammed her weapon into Jazz's other shoulder causing a howl of pain from the latter bot. I am so sorry, she whimpered as she raised her arm once again. The next thing she knew she was soaring in the air, and collided with a nearby pile of rubble. When she dug herself out she saw her savior, Bumblebee stood by Jazz's injured body. Once he saw her began to regain composure he sped towards her, a look of determination on his countenance. Yes, Delyia rejoiced, a bittersweet feeling spreading in her chest, Bee will protect everyone. She was beginning to become accustomed to this double-edged happiness she felt, it seemed to haunt her through each rise and fall in her life. As Bee neared he leapt into the air, spinning and landing a blow directly to her head. The femme spun sideways, crashing hard into the ground below her. She felt her body slowing down as it took her longer to get on her feet. She wasn't in that position for long as Bee rammed another fist into her chassis. Against her wishes, Delyia's body fought back by kicking Bee in the chest, sending him flying back. He landed a few meters away on his head, the impact hit him hard as Delyia was already bounding towards him before he stood again. Delyia's hand had morphed into a fist once more, and she struck Bee twice, before he managed to jab her in the side. This didn't seem to phase her much, as Delyia's body put forth one last burst of energy into an axe kick to Bee's shoulders, twisting and linking her legs around his neck and swinging her body. Bee's body flung like a piece of rubble into an already destroyed building. She could hear his whimpers as Bee attempted to dig himself out of the debris. Delyia's heart sunk as she glanced between Bee and Jazz, both seemed down for the count. So Delyia turned her attention towards the leader again, his body still knelt as it was before.

"Prime!" Delyia howled, "Fight me!" She half begged as she dashed towards him once more.

"Please!" She half whimpered as Delyia connected her foot to the side of Optimus's head.

Optimus, Delyia did not know what to do, Bee was down, Jazz was probably passed out by now, and none of the other Bots were anywhere to be found. Delyia struggled as much as she could to regain some control of her body, she only managed to trip herself up as she continued beating into Optimus. Kick after kick, fist after fist, Optimus did not lift a finger to Delyia's tirade. Her onslaught met with silence, other than the sound of metal against metal. Little by little his armour fell from his form, but thankfully his body seemed to stay intact.

"Please, before I kill everyone," Delyia whispered, she wasn't even sure if he could hear her.

It was as if something switched in the Autobot leader at that moment, his face twisted to that of a mix of love and hate. His arm snapped, catching her fist before it could hit once more. Her body threw a punch with the other arm, and he caught that too. With both of her fists out of commission Optimus rose, and shoved her back causing Delyia to fling through buildings. Optimus strode in the direction he sent her, grabbing a metal pole laying in the street. Delyia was unsure whether to be happy or afraid, with the look in his eyes she knew if she were to keep fighting one of them would meet their demise. Her body stood, striding towards the Autobot leader with a newfound strength, she was unsure of where it resurged from.

"My sweetspark, I am sorry." Optimus cried out as he swung the pole, Delyia jumped and barely missed the whistling metal.

Don't be, Delyia thought with a somber smile. I'm living on borrowed time now anyway. She vaulted into Optimus, knocking the both of them over. The two struggled, limbs tangled in one another, both fighting for their lives. Finally Optimus's pole connected with Delyia's head, causing her to pause as pain rippled through her body. Prime took this opportunity to pin her arms behind her back, and slam the pole into her legs then twist it. Delyia screamed in agony as she felt what seemed like her legs being torn apart.

"I am sorry," Optimus wept, putting all of his strength into keeping her arms pinned.

"Optimus, don't be sorry," Delyia managed to whisper, "I love you. Just make sure I can never do anything like this again, please."

Before Optimus could respond, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Ratchet there with one of his syringes in hand. The medic took a moment to look at her neck, searching for the right wires before plunging the syringe into one of them. He injected her veins and waited a moment before telling his leader to stand.

"Do not fret Prime, she is just temporarily paralyzed. I will be keeping her this way until I can figure out just what I can do."

Optimus only nodded, his thoughts snapping back to Megatron he searched the buildings for any sign of the Decepticon leader. He even tried to sense his energon readings, but nothing came up. The coward ran, Optimus spat inwardly as he picked Delyia up.

"Go, attend to Jazz and Bee, I will ensure she is put into the custody of Lennox and NEST until we can clean up this mess."

Ratchet nodded and wordlessly ran towards Jazz. Nothing will ever be the same.
