A/N: Alright, I'm hoping this is somewhat better than my previous writing style. And I hope that this is acceptable story wise. Without any further adieu, here goes nothing.

Previously: "Damn Woman" Aquarius mumbledas she disappeared and Lucy stepped forward and said: "Maybe it's about time I showed you MY new magic" Lucy said as a bright light emitted from a magic circle with a dragon holding a star enveloped her and everyone in the arena.

"STAR DRAGONS SHINING FIST!"

Present:

Everyone in the crowd was blinded by this huge surge of magic energy that Lucy had emitted, and in the blink of an eye they could clearly make out that Lucy's fist had made direct contact with Erza's crystal sword. The tension was so high is was hard to breathe among the crowd, until a fairly loud cracking sound was heard and Erza's sword shattered, making everyone's eyes widen.

"Holy shit, did that really just happen? Did Lucy really just use Dragon Slayer magic?" Gray asked Natsu incredulously, not getting a response which made him get irritated "Oi, flames for brains-" he started before getting cut off.

"Shut up ice princess i'm tryna watch the fight!" Natsu said focused on what was happening between Lucy and Erza.

In the battle field:

Lucy smirked seeing the sword shatter as Erza's eyes widened when she heard Lucy mutter: "It's over" and the air around she was inhaling through her mouth looked thicker and turned a pale gold color. (A/N: Alright so you guys know she's eating the plasma from the ethernano)

"Fuck" Erza mutters as she quickly tried requiping into her purgatory armor but Lucy was already half way through her spell.

"Star Dragons… ROAR!" Lucy shouted as a stream of light and stars shot towards Erza and she managed to dodge, but the shot destroyed a nearby building, and Erza managed to land a hit on Lucy who gritted her teeth falling to her knee.

At this point everyone in the guild had seen Lucy's power to some extent, and Lucy didn't want to reveal it all yet, so she stood up and walked towards a roughed up Erza.

"Erza, you're just as strong as you look when you fight any other opponent" Lucy said before breaking out a toothy smile "But I'm almost out of magic power so... I think we'll have to call this one a draw" she lied convincingly rubbing the back of her head as everyone in the crowd went silent before their jaws dropped when Erza nodded.

"You've grown quite formidable indeed, Lucy" she smiled proudly as she walks towards the newly reconstructed guild hall, deciding to question where she learned dragon slayer magic later. Lucy glanced at Natsu, who had a knowing look on his face. Lucy was about to say something to him before getting bombarded by her fellow guildmates about her using dragon slayer magic.

"Oi Lucy" Gray said cooly before grabbing her hand and taking her somewhere more quiet, ignoring everyone who was yelling at him for taking her away before she could answer their questions.

"What is it Gray?" Lucy asked a bit taken aback at how Gray had grabbed her hand back there but didn't say anything about it.

"Back on Mt. Higurashi… I know for a fact you knew we were there looking for you, why didn't you let us find you, why only Natsu? We were worried sick." He asked seriously having figured that out when Lucy had lied about the barrier, and frankly he was hurt more then he should have been by this.

Lucy looked down "Gray… it was nothing personal, the dragon who was training me tried to avoid you guys, that's why my scent was all over that cave. Natsu wasn't supposed to find me either" she explained not being able to come up with excuses to tell him, she felt like she had to tell him the truth. "Natsu's sense of smell was just too strong" she finished looking up at the raven haired Ice mage feeling guilty for making them worry.

Gray looked at her, hesitating for a moment before pulling her in for a tight hug. "Just… don't disappear on me like that again… please" He said hating how sappy he was sounding, but for some reason he had been strangely concerned for our favorite blonde celestial mage.

"G-Gray, I-" She started blushing slightly before hearing the door open. "Oi L- WHAT THE HELL!"

Alright guys, I hope I didn't disappoint y'all with this chapter, I just wanted to clarify a few things.

1) yes I am aware Natsu and Gray have both been slightly OOC in the past 2 chapters, I'm doing so for the plot to start coming together.

2) Someone asked me where in the story line this took place. Well I'm thinking this is plotted in between the Loke arc and the Tower of Heaven arc.

But yeah, I'm starting to have some really good ideas for this fic. I would really really appreciate ideas and thoughts from you guys, I would love to communicate with you and hear your guys' thoughts. So PLEASE PM me and review. I want to know what you guys like and don't like so I can improve this story and such. Anyways… i'm hoping to update once a month, maybe even more frequently. Until the next one! :)
