I could not have prepared myself for that day
When you would appear, and take my breath away
Your beautiful feathers, shining and blue
You appeared over the water, and right then, I knew
That you were special, and I was drawn in
And our spiritual journey was fated to begin
So I poked my head up, to see you up close
Your beauty was glistening, but you wouldn't boast
I leapt out of the water, just to say hi
But somehow, some way, I caught your eye
I reappeared, and you looked right at me
You smiled in a way that filled me with glee
Then you leaned forward, and I did the same as well
And straight away, in love with you, I fell
Then you left, without even a word. But why?
What I felt was too strong. I couldn't say goodbye
So I followed your path, my heart leading the way
You saw me, and smiled. I didn't know what to say!
Our hearts beated together, a melody formed
Somehow, your vicinity left my spirit warmed
I think that you sensed it, by the look that you gave
But you didn't realise that my life, you would save
So we kept together, no matter where we went
I stuck by you, the angel that God sent
Our bodies would move, as if we were in sync
We travelled together, and our hearts would link
We faced every obstacle, followed our path
We followed the plan that our lord hath
And without a doubt, we would make mistakes
But nothing I faced would cause my heart aches
And I sensed that the same was true about you
Because you faced them head on, and your heart shone through
My innocence led me to you at the start,
And it helped me grow, and to trust your pure heart
Then as our acquaintance grew stronger and fonder
Your liveliness grew, and it helped me forwander
The loneliness that I had experienced one time
Was gone, and to return to it would be a crime
I sensed within you a burning ambition,
And wanted to make your dreams reach fruition
I admit, at first, my anxiety was there
But you helped me grow comfortable, knowing you were there
We never made a plan- we just strived for exploration
And making you happy was now my one mission
I achieved enlightenment, travelling by your side
I would find all my answers when our worlds would collide
You gave me a freedom that I never thought I would need
But as long as I'm with you, I shall always succeed
And for eternity, I shall devote myself to you
It is only together that our dreams can come true
Because when our energies are truly combined
Can we make something beautiful, and one of a kind
We combine our hearts, our thoughts and our souls
If I ever need help, it is you who consoles
Our love for each other, like a dragon in the sky
Is free, true, beautiful, and can never die
We can battle the elements, together, as a team
We can flow through the water, and turn it to steam
We can break through wood as if it was fern
We can pass through fire, and we will never burn
We can traverse the earth, climb the highest mountain peaks
We can face metal and pass through, for days or even weeks
There is nothing we can't do, because we are two of a kind
We will never be defeated, because our hearts are entwined
