Chapter 3

Rematch

Okay. Time for chapter 3 and the first duel of the fic. Now remember, Iv'e never done a duel before. So, it might not be that good. Also, I will be using fanmade cards. Well anyway... Let's kick it up!

Alexis was now standing on the duel platform in the auditorium opposite of Aster Phoenix with her duel disk raised up semi ready to duel.

'This is it. I beat him and I save the Slifer dorm and everyone in it.' She thought to herself before she trembled a bit. 'But this guy beat Jaden and if I lose...' She thought for a second before shaking her head a bit. 'No! I have to win! For the dorm. For the guys.' She thought before her eyes narrowed. 'For Jaden!' She thought now standing tall.

In the stands the members of the Society of Light were chearing for Aster as Syrus and Hassleberry along with the rest of the Slifer red students looking at them.

"I still can't believe that Princeton and Misawa went awal and joined up with the enemy." Hassleberry said with his fists clenched in rage.

"I don't think it's that simple. They don't seem to be acting like themselves. It's almost like someone else is driving." Syrus said as Hassleberry looked down at him.

"What, you meen like the enemy reeducated them?" He asked as Syrus nodded.

"It's the best thing I can think of. Chazz may be a complete dick. But he wouldn't just turn his back on us." Cyrus said. "Man, I wish Jaden was here!" He exclaimed before putting his head in his hands.

"You and me both, Private." Hassleberry said with a sigh.

Back down at the duel plaform, Aster couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. He was curious about what Sartorius was planning and what the Society of Light was. He then shook his head free of these thoughts and got his head in the game. "Alright, get your game on!" He shouted as he was about to activate his duel disk.

"Hey, that's my line!" Shouted a voice that came from behind Alexis who then turned around to see Jaden with Yubel standing directly behind him.

"Jaden!/Sarge!" Syrus and Hassleberry both shouted feeling elated to see there friends as Chazz, Bastian and the rest of the bleached bastards simply sneered at him.

"Jaden! Your back!" Alexis shouted as she ran down to meet him. She smiled at him for a second before punching him in the arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" Jaden asked while rubbing his arm.

"You left without a word and were gone for a month!" Alexis shouted. "Where the hell were you?" She asked. Jaden then placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"I'll explain later. Right now, I have a dorm to save." He said said as he walk up to the base of the duel platform and jumping up to face Aster who then got a cocky smirk.

"I guess you didn't learn the first time." He said as Jaden got his own smirk.

"Oh, you'd be surprised what I've learned." He said as he activated his duel disk.

"Jaden, are you sure about this." Alexis asked feeling worried after what happened last time.

"I'm always sure when it comes to dueling." Jaden said with a grin causing a gentle smile to come to Alexis' face.

"Okay. Take him down." She said as she and Yubel walked over to the stands. "Wait a second. Who are you?" Alexis asked the dark skinned girl.

"Oh, I'm Yubel. I guess I fall under the 'explain later' category." Yubel said as she sat down causing Alexis to shrug.

Down at the duel platform the duel had just started.

"I'll go first." Aster said as he drew a card from his deck. "I summon Destiny Hero Diamand Dude dude in attack mode." He said as he summoned a humanoid monster with crystals all over it's body. (atk: 1400)

"Now I play Destiny lock." He said as a magic card with chains around a 'Monster Reborn' card and a padlock with the Destiny hero logo on it in the middle of it. "With card on the field, I can select 1 magic card from my deck and as long as this card is in play, neither of us can use that card." He said as he pulled a polymerization from his deck. "Now neither 1 of us can use polymerization. Now I end my turn." He said as the turn went to Jaden.

"This is bad. Now Sarge can't use his fusion monsters." Hassleberry said.

"Wrong." Yubel said gaining the atention of the group. "Jaden has a few other methods of fusion to bring out now." She said.

"What do you mean?" Alexis asked as a smirk graced Yubel's lips.

"Just watch." She said as she pointed down to Jaden who had a smirk on his face.

"I play hand destruction and now we both send 2 cards to the graveyard so I can draw 2 more." He said as he drew 2 cards, placed 1 in his hand and played the other. "Now I play Neo Space."

"Neo what?" Aster asked in shock as a rainbow energy surounded the both of them.

"You'll see. Now I summon Neo Spacian Air Humming bird in attack mode." He said as a red man shaped humming bird monster took the field. "Now due to his special abilty, I gain 500 life points for every card in your hand." Jaden said as his life points shot up to 10000.

"Now I play soul charge. Now I can bring back as many monsters as I want for the cost of 1000 life points a pop and I choose Elemental Hero Avion and Elemental Hero Neos!" He exclaimed as Avion (Atk 1000) and Neos (atk 2500 boosted to 3000 by Neo space) took the field and Jaden's life points went back to 8000.

"Neos? I thought I knew every Hero card out there!" Aster said unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Believe me, there are pleanty you haven't seen yet. Like this 1. I fuse my Neos with my Hummingbird to form Elemental Hero Air Neo's!" He shouted as a red version of Neo's took the field. (atk 2500 boosted to 3000 by neo space.)

:: My king, please call me out next.:: A female voice said inside Jaden's head.

::I'm waiting for the right moment.:: Jaden replied to the voice.

"But you didn't use a fusion card!" Aster shouted in shock.

::And that was it.:: Jaden told the voice as he smirked. "My Neos and Neo Spacians don't need fusion cards." Jaden said as his eyes began to glow yellow. "But if you insist. I activate Dark Fusion!" He shouted as a magic card with a picture of Avian and Burstinatrix being enveloped in light and the siloete of a winged monster behind.

"What kind of monster can he summon with that?" Syrus asked as he looked at the card.

"I'll show you." Jaden said as he raised up 2 cards. "I merge Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix to summon Evil Hero Infirno Wing!" He shouted as a green skined humaoid monster with spiked hair, large clawed gauntlets, large green wings a blue face shied torn red spandex showing her legs and middrift, and a large red cape. (atk 2100)

"What the hell is that thing?" Aster asked as he took a step back.

"Like I said. There are heroes you don't know about and I'm about to show you just what this 1 can do."Jaden said.

"At your comand my king." Infirno Wind said with only those who could see duel spirits able to hear.

'What douse she mean 'king'?' Chazz thought to himself as he continued to watch the duel.

"Now, Infirno Wing, attack his Diamand Dude!" Jaden called as Infirno carried out the order and destroyed Diamand Dude causing Asters life points went down to 7300 hundered. "Now due to Infirno Wings special ability, you lose life points equal to the highest points on the monster she just destroyed. In this case the 1600 defence points of your Diamand Dude!" Jaden said as Asters life points went down to 5700 and causing a red spark to appear in his eyes.

Yubel noticed the Spark as her eyes began to glow green. ::Jaden, 1 more good hit should do it.:: She said to Jaden in his mind.

::Right.:: Jaden replied to her as he raised his hand up. "Neo's attack his life points!" Jaden called out as Neos attacked Aster causing his life points to fall to 2700. Suddenly, Aster's eyes began to glow red as before he suddly found himself in a place he didn't recognize. Aster then looked behind him to see Jaden and Yubel.

"Jaden, where are we?" Aster asked as Jaden shifted his head right. Aster then looked to his left to see what looked like a young version of himslelf in a dark red cloak holding a wooden sword in his hand as he appeared to be in a sparing match with Haou.

Well, there you go. I hope you liked chapter 3. Sorry about the cliffhanger. I used a fanmade card called Destiny Lock. I'll try not to make my fanmade cards to OP. Now I haven't got any votes for a deck for Yubel. Now, if I don't get anything I'm going to give her Dragons of Balance. Her first duel will be in chapter 5. Well, until next time and as always.
