"Its a boy," her mom said as she placed my son in Leah's waiting arms.
"Our son...we have a son," I smiled happily.
"Yes we do," she giggled slightly exhausted.
"Let's get you back inside," I smiled lifting her up into my arms. I shivered a bit as the wind blew through the trees and the faint scent of the vampire came flooding to my nostrils. "Vampire.." I said under my breath and i set Leah down inside her house.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"I got a bad feeling Lee, ill be right back I promise.." I smiled as I walked outside and phased.
As soon as my four paws hit the ground I could feel the tension. I saw the vampires staring down the pack and Seth crouched low whimpering in pain, as well as Samantha laying out cold with her pack down beside her and a baby in her arms. I bolted for the clearing they were in only to be stopped by a raven-haired girl.
"Looks like I get to have fun, the boss heard tell of another Wolf that had a miracle child...Would she be that way?" The vampire asked coyly.
I stomped my foot down and literally drew a line in the dirt with my massive paw.
"Oh, so you wanna play cross the line?" She grinned as she crouched low "Here I come!"
With that, she lunged through the air as I ducked down and jumped forward at the last moment. I felt my body begin to change mid-air.
N-No! I thought as I collided flesh to flesh against the vampire.
"Looks like the puppy is out of gas." She smirked.
"Come at me..." I snarled as I took a fighting position. 'I'm sorry Leah..'
She rushed at me and I ducked under her fist my own colliding with her stomach. I felt the rock hard body crack.
"The hell?" she spat as she jumped back.
'Id like to know the same thing...' I thought as she leaped forward again. I jumped right at her forcing the phase mid-air. I tasted hair and burnt bleach in my mouth as I clamped my jaws down ripping her head clean off. I just spat it out before I took a run towards the pack once again. I arrived just in time to see luke staring down a vampire in a black cloak, while four other vampires stood in the clearing. I looked gaze on the short blonde haired bitch.
What are we gonna do? This vamps got Luke in a corner..Seth
I got his back, Seth get the others back, that fog is gonna drop them like Makkah..Me
I watched as Luke leaped forward, I lunged forward nipping at the vampire's leg causing him to hesitate in a crucial moment and with that luke now had his head in his mouth. Once he spat it out we turned our gaze towards the twins.
"You dogs are gonna pay," Jane spat, "wait I know you, Michael Jameson Uley"
Everyone turned to look at me surprised as my lips were pulled back over my teeth.
"Your mother was a screamer...but oh how did I love killing her," Jane sneered as my rage built up. "I was the reason you changed, I still remember you busting through the door...your body shaking angrily as you watched me standing there with your mother dead at my feet.."
I roared as I leaped forward.
Michael! It's a trap!
Another vampire lept through the air intercepting me with his arms around my waist as he twisted sending a sickening snap into the ears of everyone there.
"Michael!" Sam roared as he phased and rushed the vampire.
I laid there in massive amounts of pain. I could feel my spine was broken.
Seth got up and ran behind Sam with Jared and Paul hot on his heels. Dimitri ducked under the wolves and rolled towards the unconscious alpha.
He's going after sam!
Stop him!
"Oh my, looks like it's my turn to play" Another vampire called out as he landed between the wolves and Dimitri.
Luke lunged at the new vampire as the vamp simply rolled luke over his shoulder throwing him into the house.
"Jane, Alec I was worried," came Aro's voice as he and walked out of the woods with Caius and Marcus by his side.
"My apologies Aro, the wolves were fighting back," Jane said with her eyes narrowed at the pack that was standing and snarling at them.
"Then put the dogs down," Caius replied.
Luke lept through the air aimed directly at Caius as Caius turned around and angled himself so Luke would fly beside him before punching him directly in the side sending him flying into a tree. Luke got back up as the smell of blood was in the air. Small drops of a red liquid leaked from a wound in his side where a tree limb lay impaled into his side. He snarled licking his chops as his normally white teeth were stained with a pinkish tinge. He stood there for a moment as he remembered the day his mom brought his new baby sister Senna home and the day the girl he thought was his one and only left him broken. He lunged again as Caius leaped through the air at him as well. Luke landed on the other side with a darkly cloaked arm in his mouth.
"You Damn Mutt!" Caius screamed as he turned around and rushed Luke.
"Grab the girl Jane," Aro said as Jane ran over picking up sam and the baby. She turned around and looked into her brother's eyes as the image of a pitch black wolf opened its jaws right behind his head.
"ALEC!" She cried out.
Alec turned around only for Sam to snap his jaws shut around alecs head ripping it clean off.
Senna looked on with horror her vision was back just in time to see a blonde vampire rip his hand from her brothers back with his heart in his hand. I could see the times I saw luke flashing before my eyes. He was always a nice guy, he tried everything to defy fate but she was out of his grip. I watched weakly as the vampires left and Jake showed back up. I phased back to normal as the lights started to go dark.
Fucking idiot...you just lost your imprint and child...hope you suffer...I thought as I blacked out.
I awoke in an empty field.
"Want a drink man?" Luke chuckled as he sat against a tree.
"Luke?! What the hell?! Where am I?" I asked panicked.
"Don't worry man you aren't dead but gods got a few words for you.." he chuckled.
I relaxed a moment as I took in my surroundings. There was a slight breeze that made the grass sway too and frow, birds sang songs of peace and happiness in the few trees.
"Greetings Michael," came a voice.
"Who are you?" I asked as I stood up.
"I'm Taha Aki, the father of both tribes, my late wife founded the makkan tribe while I created the Quelluetes.." He said.
"Mikey..." came a soothing voice.
"M-Mom.," I said dumbstruck.
"Yes Mikey, I'm here...and we will have a talk after Taha Aki is finished." she smiled as she gestured for him to finish.
"Michael you may not realize it but there is a story unfolding before you..do you remember the bedtime story your mother would always tell you?" he asked.
"Yeah..in a time of great need a powerful warrior would rise but only with the help of a someone he treasures.." I started as my eyes went slightly wide.
"You and Leah have played your part in the war to come..." he said as a foggy cloud came between us. "Together you made a child that will be unrivaled on a battlefield..a warrior like no other, but he will also be the best leader any tribe has ever known, a strong warrior with a gentle heart..."
"So what is it you want me to do?" I asked confused.
"You have tasted a little of the ability I bestowed on you.I forsaw the vampires coming for Samantha and Leah...as of right now they have succeeded in their mission to capture Sammantha..and what the one they call Aro plans to do is horrible by all accounts, its why I have come to you now...You, Seth Harold Clearwater, Jacob Ephraim Black, Paul Richard Lahote, Samuel Joshua Uley, and Jared Tristan Cameron will be going to retrieve the lost wolf...but fear not think the odds may be against you..you will not be alone...Together you are stronger.." Taha Aki said as he gripped his fingers and tried to pull in a display of unity "while separate you are weak." he said doing the same display but with one finger vs four.
"I see...thank you Chief.," I stated.
I watched as Taha Aki walked away with luke.
"One more thing...I don't know if Jake heard me or not but...please take care of senna...this is gonna be hard for her.." Luke said holding a hand out to me.
"I don't shake..but I will look after her...goodbye, my friend.." I stated, giving luke a hug.
"Goodbye...ill be watching you and senna..." he stated as he and Taha Aki vanished into a cloud of fog.
"So this girl...you love her a lot don't you?" my mom said as she laid back against the tree.
"Yeah, you would love her mom, she's sweet, caring, funny, downright adorable and intelligent beyond belief," I chuckled as I thought of Leah.
"Then you better get home Mikey...I bet she's worried sick about you.." SHe stated smiling softly.
"Love you, momma," I said hugging her and giving her a kiss on her cheek.
"I love you too my little spirit warrior," she smiled kissing my forehead.
"Michael if you don't wake up this instant.." I heard a voice call out as something wet hit my cheeks.
"Lee...I'm alright," I chuckled softly not having to open my eyes to know it was her hovering over my bed.
"Oh thank god you are alive!" she cried hugging me.
"You cant get rid of me that easy," I smiled softly holding her.
"MJ has been crying almost nonstop, he wants his daddy," she smiled softly.
"MJ?" I asked curiously.
"Well...his name is Michael Jameson Uley Jr" She grinned looking at me as my jaw dropped.
