Sorry about the long absence I have had to focus on my education but I am back now and hopefully I have improved my writing :) sorry this is a short chapter. I have updated this chapter and changed aspects as my story concept has developed.
After hours of scouring the library scrolls going back and forth between ideas the now exhausted team sat down at a table, holding scrolls. As they smiled at each other, happy with their decisions, Kakashi appeared, "Alright then, who wants to go first?" He looked around the table, "Hinata, your up" she took a deep breath, "I have decided that I want to be a combat medic nin" she said smiling, "I want to also focus on taijutsu and adapt the gentle fist to suit me more as well as my elemental just. I also want to learn to use senbon and possibly archery." Hinata then looked around the table to see her teammates and sensei smiling at her which made her blush, "you next Naruto."
He grinned at her, "nice choices Hinata!" Naruto smiled broadly, "I want to focus on fuinjutsu and ninjutsu as well as a trench knives as a weapon. My taijutsu also needs work, i might ask the Hokage if my parents left any taijutsu scrolls." he said the last part with a thoughtful look, Kakashi nodded at him, "Shikamaru, your turn." Shikamaru yawned, stretched his legs and put his hands behind his head, "troublesome, I want to focus on shadow jutsu and kenjutsu along with my elemental ninjutsu."
"Right then all good choices and you all will also be learning your element and corresponding jutsus which we will discover tomorrow. Now I want you to go home and rest, we will meet tomorrow at training ground 36 and start training." With that said Kakashi disappeared leaving a swirl of leaves. "Well then who wants ramen!?" Naruto grabbed both Shikamaru's and Hinata's hand and dragged them out of the library and down to Ichiraku Ramen. When they got there Naruto sat down, "hey old man, 3 miso ramen please, What do you guys want?" Shikamaru and Hinata meanwhile were collapsed on the floor breathing heavily, "Naruto, you are troublesome, at least I know not to get between you and ramen." He smirked and got up off the and sat down on the stool next to him, Hinata followed suit sitting on the other side of Naruto. "One chicken ramen for me", Ichiraku turned to Hinata "a prawn ramen please."
After the ramen with Shikamaru paying for Naruto's 10 bowls they walked home saying goodbye to Hinata along the way as she went home.
As Hinata got closer to home she could feel herself losing the courage she had gained that day, she walked past the guards who gave her sympathetic look prompting her to give a small smile back. She felt like she was shrinking, 'please don't let him know about the training, or fight Hanabi, I just can't hurt my sister. I promised mother I would protect her.' With those thoughts she gave a small sigh and look up at the main building which seemed to grow before her eyes making it look huge and daunting. Hinata moved inside and almost made to her bedroom when Neji came to her, "Hinata you have been called before the council" "do know why Neji?" He just glared at her and walked off down the hallway. "Neji!" Neji stopped and but did not turn, "I am sorry, know that I love you like a brother and I wish you can get past your hatred." He just kept walking, with a sigh Hinata moved to the council chambers.
She knocked on the door, "Come in" she opened the door and went in, she saw all the council members and her father at the head of the table with grim looks on their faces. She sat down, took a deep breath in and waited. "Hinata you have been called here to discuss your position as heir." At the last part Hinata's head shot up and she looked at her father whose face held no expression. The elder spoke again, "We have been discussing you for a while and after your continued loss to Hanabi, your lack of progression and your weakness we have decided to banish you from the clan." Hinata sat there in shock, her father not looking at her, "but... but, you can't do this, father?" Her father looked at her as she sat shaking in fear, sadness and horror, "Hinata it is true, I am sorry but you are not cut out for being a Hyuga let alone an heir, you are weak, useless and you are pathetic. You are to leave this estate and not come back, you no longer have the name Hyuga." By the end he was shouting as Hinata cringed with each word, when he finished he waved his hand two branch members came and hauled the crying Hinata away.
They dumped outside the estate with another sympathetic look and walked away. She sat there in the mud crying, 'I can't believe this, I have no family. What is going to happen to me, I am so useless.' "Look at me crying in the mud, I can't stay here" she got up and slowly walked to the Nara residence, with every step what had just happened to was sinking in. In the space of an hour she lost her family, her home and her name. By the time she reached the front door of the Nara home she was crying again, 'At least it is not raining anymore' she took a deep breath and knocked on the door. When it opened she looked up at...
