Chapter 26 is now up! Enjoy! :D
Akari's mom tapped her shoulder. When she turned around she punched her in the face.
She punched Amara right in the face!
A few people who were outside the school gasped. I was shocked as I saw Amara fall to the ground, unconscious. Sakura then came out of the school and was surprised to see Amara sprawled on the ground.
"Um, we need to go. I think everything's better." Sakura said and smiled as she began to understand the situation.
"Great punch." Sakura said to my mom. Sakura and I then each grabbed Amara's arms and started dragging her to the DeLorean. I looked back and smiled at my mom. She smiled back and waved. Just then my dad walked up beside her holding a wet cloth to clean herself up from Amara having poured some punch on her, being the reason for Amara's unconsciousness.
"Amara is a freakin' psychotic idiot." Sakura said through gritted teeth as she literally threw Amara into the trunk, making a loud thunk.
Sakura and I gasped as we felt our bodies sway heavily to the seats as we landed in the present. We looked around the neighborhood before we got Sebastian and Amara out of the trunk.
"Over here." grunted Sakura as she dragged Sebastian towards the living room couch. I followed behind her, dragging Amara over. We set them down on the floor next to the couch. Sakura went up to her room while I looked around at her family pictures to make sure everything worked out. Sakura then came down.
"Ok, everything seems to be fine. I don't think we caused much of a disturbance in time." she said.
"Cool." I said.
"I guess." Sakura sighed, tired from the event.
"So, what about them?" I asked, looking down at Amara and Sebastian.
"Let's just leave them there until they wake up." Sakura responded. I shrugged my shoulders. Sakura and I then went up to her room and left the weirdos on the floor.
~Two weeks later…~
"We're finally out of school for summer vacation." I said happily as Sebastian F. followed beside me.
"Yeah." he said.
Ever since that time-traveling incident, Sebastian and I have become close once again like it used to be when we were younger. It's like a bestfriend kind-of-relationship and he doesn't act as weird and distant as he used to be. He's like the protective brother I used to know back in our childhood days, which makes me really happy. Our mom had even noticed our "weird" relationship, as she calls it, ever since she had been getting home earlier from work. Amara seemed to have also changed. She sometimes tries to avoid me and Sakura, but when she's around us she's not as mean and psychotic as she used to be...sometimes. She still really seems to hate us. Though she does hang out with her brothers more. She is seriously everywhere they are, when possible. Though sometimes, Sakura either sees Amara and Sebastian F. together or I can see them in some places together, but I can never get close enough to hear what they're talking about or see exactly what they're doing. The weird thing is that just today, before we got out of school, we were all together in Music Room 3, the Host Club, Sakura, Amara and I were talking about what we might be doing during the summer. After a while, we all find out that we each don't live that far from each other. Each one of us lives about two to five blocks away from each other, which isn't so far and many thought that we could all hang out at each other's houses some days.
We all went home after that. Sakura and Sebastian followed behind me as they each whispered things to each other. I just ignored them and we finally got home. Sakura would be staying over with me at my house for the weekend, which was going to be interesting.
Ciel was on the living room couch asleep.
I should take advantage of him- I mean moment...fudge! I eagerly walked over to the cute, sleeping Ciel. One weird thing was all it would take to wake him up. I came close to his ear and whispered, "You're so beautiful." as I gently touched his arm. He suddenly pushes me away from him and I start laughing and quickly run up to my room.
Sakura then came in after me a few minutes later.
"Hey, what happened to Ciel? He seemed really mad at you?" she asked, setting down her backpack on the floor.
"I don't know." I said innocently.
"Okay...Well, what do you want to do? We have the rest of the afternoon free." she said.
I just shrugged my shoulders as I plopped myself onto my bed. Sakura sat down next to me.
"Hmm...let's talk about guys." I then said. Sakura looked at me, surprised.
"Why?"
"Just shush." I said and I went on to hell her about every single guy in my life that I've met.
"Yeah, and Tamaki is just-ugh." I said, disgusted. "I mean he's cool...Um, sorry." I then said to Sakura, remembering I was talking about her brother.
"It's totally fine, it's true. He's a huge weirdo, but he has such a kind heart." Sakura sighed.
"Yeah." I nodded my head. "Anyways, Jai, he's pretty cool. Jai is...hmm…" I then smiled as I remembered the time he had first seen me after so long. "So many bad things have happened and I feel they're all because of me." I then said, saddened. "Even back then...and now. So many people are getting hurt, people close to me, because of me. They're after me. Just me." I was angered and it seemed as if I was about to cry. I suddenly feel two arms wrap around me into a warm embrace, expecting it to be Sakura as a sign of comfort...but I look up and see Sebastian F. looking at me straight in the eyes as he gently hugged me. I turned to see Sakura who was trying to hold back laughter, covering her hand over her mouth, trying so hard. Then she started to silently pretend to gag as I watched her. She smiled at me and I glared at her.
"Thanks." I said once Sebastian had finally let go of me. He smiled at me and I managed to form a small smile.
"So, anyways...Sakura, remember we had to go do that thing?" I said, trying to get away from Sebastian F.
"Oh yeah." she said and stands up.
"Well, see ya later." I said to Sebastian and me and Sakura ran downstairs.
"I'm gonna go talk to the butler." Sakura said, walking towards the kitchen once she spotted Sebastian M.
"Are you finally gonna confess?" I said, serious.
"No." she said and looked back at me with a surprised expression. I rolled my eyes as she entered the kitchen and started to flirt with Sebastian M. I can them smell Ciel's scent close by but it suddenly gets faint.
"Ciel, come back!" I called out as I got off the couch and followed him up the stairs. I quickly catch up to him and put my arms around his waist from behind. I can see his angered and shocked look as I lay my head on his shoulder and whisper into his ear. "I love you." I whisper gently and he suddenly pushed me back and yells out, "Leave me alone!"
"Akari…" I hear a faint gasp and the living room door opens.
"Mom?" I say, walking down to the living room. "Mom!" I exclaim as I see my mom dragging herself ono the side of the couch. "What happened?" I asked, running to her.
Sebastian M. then comes in from the kitchen and carries my mom to her room to aide her. I keep hearing faint gasps as she tries to breath as he carries her away. I stood there shocked, staring at the trail of blood that tracked from the door across the room to the side of the couch.
"Akari, she'll be fine." I then hear Sakura say as she puts her hands on my shoulders.
Everyone's now gathered in my mom's room. Sebastian M. had attended to her wounds and blood was all over her clothes and the overs of the bed. My mom then takes a hold of my hand and I look down at her with sadness and worry.
"You're not safe anymore." she says weakly. She then lets go of my hand and some blood starts flowing out of her mouth.
"Mom?..." She slowly closes her eyes. "Mom! Mom...No….Mom!" I wail out, not hearing hear breaths or see her chest rise up and down to breathe. Nothing.
I start to cough up blood as my mom's mouth fills up with blood and starts to flow out. I bend over to the side and gasp as I notice a change in my vision. Blood flows out through my mouth, unable to stop. I start gagging as it's too much blood and I can barely breath. I start hearing the same chants as before and I slowly start to feel a small pain as cuts from over my entire body. I feel the cuts form as if some invisible knife was slowly cutting across my skin.
"Akari…" I hear Sakura and Sebastian F. say. Blood drips onto the floor as the flow of blood becomes less harsh. I look towards my mom and the blanket she was covered with started turning red in some spots. I managed to throw off the blanket, revealing my mother's body only with her interior clothing on and everyone notices the huge symbol from her chest to the bottom of her stomach. I start to cough harshly as more blood comes out in spurts. Next thing I know I'm running. I'm running to where my senses and instincts tell me to go to. I'm risking everything and putting myself in a grave amount of danger. I have to make this stop. Make it end. The eerie chanting in my head won't stop and every minute new cuts appear on my body. My vision having changed, I can only see a dark world now. An imperfect world, the way it truly is.
You're not safe anymore, a thought that keeps running through my mind as the chanting starts to fade as I run as fast as I can and I see the world in a new, dark way.
Well dang...crazy stuff. :)
