"Mmmmm..." Kagome twitched and turned in her sleep as the sun started to rise. Her eyes snapped open as she yawned. She shuffled under her crimson red blankets and stretched herself across the bed. She turned herself into a sitting position as she rubbed her eyes drousily. "Curse Inuyasha and him waking me up at day break every day..." She mumbled under her breath. She sighed as she changed out of her pajama's and into her normal clothes. She put on a pair of faded blue jeans and a red fluffy blouse. She brought her arms up getting to her tippy toes and stretching before she tip toed out of her room toward the kitchen.
"Hmmm... What shall I make for Breakfast...?" She mumbled as she took out some frying pans, some pots and some ingredients. She decided to make Omlets, eggs, bacon and toast. She smiled and she set to work. She fried some eggs boiled others fried the bacon and toasted the toast. Then her favorite food when the scrambled eggs were done she got to work on omelets. in a couple she put ham and cheese in others she put turkey instead of ham. Once she was done everyone was awake and looking for the delicious smell. They started to pile into the kitchen where they all stared wide-eyed at the dishes before them. "Kagome! You cooked all this?" Jugo asked as Kagome nodded finishing the last omlet. She looked at everyone and nodded quietly, the corners of her mouth rising into a bright smiles. "I did, daddy." She said before taking a plate and filling it up with some food for herself. Everyone made a line walking around the kitchen with their plates gathering their breakfast before they sat in their respectable seats at the dining table. Kagome sat by her father with Ayano across from her and surprisingly Kazuma had come for breakfast and was sitting next to Ayano. Kagome Smiled as she placed a piece of Ham and cheese omlet in her mouth enjoying the warmth of the food on her tongue. She hummed in delight as she blinked seeing Kazuma staring at her. She pointed her chopsticks at him. "Whatcha starin' at?" She asked before stubbornly placing another piece of food on her tongue.
"Nothin'." He muttered loooking back at his food and eating a whole omelet in about 31 seconds. "Hey Kagome You might have some competition in omelet eating." Ayano laughed with the family at her comment. Kagome's eyes widened before she glared at Kazuma and smirked. "Eh? A competition really? Lets see about that." She smiled before devouring her own omlet in less than 20 seconds. The family cheered as Kazuma just laughed. "Looks like this Princess ain't so much of a princess after all." He said as Kagome growled an animalistic growl.
"Who ya callin' Princess? What are you then? A prince?" She asked as he smirked before she continued. "Hey dad. Do I need a prince charming if Kazuma's a prince? Can I just get a peasant?" She snickered as the kannagi's laughed. "You can have who ever you want hunny." Jugo laughed heartedly. Kazuma grumbled under his breathe as everyone laughed at that. "I ain't no prince, Princess, just a being in the human race." he said as the family's eyes widened. No one ever made a comeback to Kagome Kannagi. "Well then I wanna kiss a frog." She smirked. "Just like the princess and the frog." "No just like you and a frog." "Well Then you must be the frog." "Nope I'm the one laughing in the back ground while you wear a dress." She smirked when he had no other remarks or come backs. "Seems Kagome wins again even against Kazuma." Ayano and Jugo said together.
After breakfast Jugo called Kazuma,Ayano and Kagome to the meeting room. "What's up, dad?" Kagome asked cheerfully before noticing his face. "Wheres the Akuma?" She asked her tone uncharacteristically serious as they got their next akuma mission.
