Lost Girl
A/N: This is what I would have liked for the beginning of 3x02 episode. Regina and Emma bonding time.
The gang had finally arrived to Never-Land. They all had a rough first night after the events that took place before landing ashore. Even after landing it was a bit hostile between everyone because the mission was finding Henry and getting ready for a fight against Peter Pan and his men. The night was getting darker and colder so it was best to set up camp and start fresh in the morning.
They all set up a fire and cots for their rest. After a few hours had past, everyone started to go their separate ways going over to lie upon their "beds." The two idiots together in one getting cozy, Hook in his own after failing to get Emma to join him, Regina in hers with her arms crossed, and Emma not wanting to rest. The two idiots were sound asleep as well as Hook, Regina looked like she was sleeping, but it was hard to tell and she had no blanket on her.
Emma looked over at Regina then down at her blanket picking it up. She had no use for it so she'd offer it to the brunette in case she was cold. The blonde took the few short steps over to Regina's cot sitting down placing the blanket over her body.
Regina was lightly sleeping so anything could wake her up. Feeling someone on her made an eye open. She was taken aback to see the blonde beauty at her side, but a small smile formed. "Thanks," she whispered to Emma now with her eyes fully open.
Emma looked down at Regina jumping a little when she was awake, but seeing the smile gave her relief. "Thought you were cold I don't need it" Emma informed shrugging biting on her lower lip down at the brunette.
After that no words were spoken for quite some time. The two ladies just sat there staring at each other. "When I said no to be friends... I meant it only because I wanna be more" Emma finally broke the silence. Regina smiled leaning up to cup the blonde's cheek in her hand pulling her close capturing her lips in a soft kiss.
Their kiss lasted longer than expected before each finally pulled away smiling. "For the record, so do I, but I think we should make everyone else seem to think we still despise one another" Regina winked caressing Emma's cheek with her thumb. The blonde wasn't exactly on board with it, but being in Never-Land facing a past for each person made her realize that Regina was right.
So the two agreed that they would be together, but still act the way they usually did around everyone else for the sake of trying to save Henry and not wanting anything to happen. And with that Regina fell back asleep with Emma cuddled close to her. Although the blonde didn't sleep due to the cries she kept hearing. So she got up carefully grabbing her sword trying to wake everyone up before walking off following the cries. That's when she ran into Pan, had her conversation with him, got the "blank map", and headed back to camp to tell the others.
A/N: I decided to leave it how the episode's direction was in at the end of this. So I might be writing another story based upon the promo for 3x03. Reviews are always nice. Thanks for reading.
