In an abandoned warehouse in West Coast.
A trio of shadows huddled over a dimly lit table in the middle of an abandoned warehouse just off the docks in West Coast. The room was dark except for the middle of the room, where a lamp was hung over a table that had a map and blueprints of a building. The room was too dark to discern the figures.
On the table was a blueprint map of a building called "Moonlight Tavern." On the map were crudely drawn arrows, possibly indicating the pathway the three were going to take through the building. The first thug, with a deep and gravely voice, spoke up.
"Okay, y'all remember the plan right? We bust in here according to these plans here, grab da money, 'n git. We don't want no police showin' up. Gotta make this heist fast."
A second thug, this time with somewhat of a high pitched voice and a similar accent spoke up.
"What're we gon' do bout security, eh? And-and the people-yeah! Theres gon' be people there boss!"
The first thug grunted and replied, "You num-nut. I awready tolds you. No-one gon be there cept one mistress, which we get a bonus for." He points to a green circle on the blueprint map of the Tavern. "We git the money, an git her too, yeah?"
He then motions towards the third figure of the circle, who has stood there not saying a word. "Hey you, third guy- you okay with this? Ya ain't saying a darn word ever since we started. Ya only nodded an shook yer head- It's getting annoying darn it! Today is the heist, i'm gettin a bad feeling about you."
The third figure finally spoke. However the figure spoke in a way that surprised the two.
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." The figure said in a female voice.
The second and first figure stood in silence, attempting to absorb what has just happened.
"You're...you're..." The second started.
The third intervened saying "...a girl? So? You think women can't do a job like this?"
The first snorted. "Well, i'll be damned. First time ya open yer piehole and out comes a graceful sound. Never expected that. Whatever- if the sources trust you, then we trusts you. C'mon." He said while glancing at his watch, which was luminated by the lamp. "We're runnin' out of time."
The second quickly said, "Wait, what about her?" and he drops a picture on the table. A second after, a dagger slams on the picture, surprising him.
"Like I said, we git her."
On the table where the picture lay with the dagger on the middle of the picture, lay a caption on the lower right hand corner.
Siusha.
Moonlight Tavern.
Back in the tavern, Simon was left alone in the lobby after Jun and Chello left the tavern to explore. Simon sat alone in a table, where a book lay in front of him. The title of the book was labeled, "Dummies guide to Slaying." Simon glanced at the book, pouted, and turned away again. "As if I can read..." He picks up the book and hauls it across the lobby, with the book making a soft thud as it lands. He exhales and looks at his watch. "Those two should have been back by now! Where are they? They said they would be back by now..."
From a distance, Siusha was leaning against the reception counter sipping her wine while looking at Simon, and gaining amusement by his behavior. "Oh Simon...so childish..."
The impatient slayer stood up from his seat and began pacing around the table. He let out a huge sigh and sat back down. "That Jun. Always late. Like most women. Ugh."
Simon then remembers he face, but something about it looks familiar, like he has seen it before.
He quickly remember his childhood, back to the scene where Simon's dad took him to "work" with him. He remembers the Backyard. He remembers the screams. He remembers the Little girl who was with him...and the eyes..."
"Wait... That... That can't be..." He said to himself...
Before he can continue his thoughts, an explosion ripped through the wall of a tavern, sending Simon flying out of his seat along with numerous tables and chairs following after, burying him in furniture. After the explosion, three shady figures clad in very dark leather and cloth stepped through the rubble and into the tavern. After the smoke cleared, the three walked to the middle of the lobby. Siusha was still leaning on the reception counter, sipping her wine.
Siusha put down her glass of wine and walked in front of the reception desk. "Welcome to Moonlight Tavern. I don't know if you know this, but, there was a door you could have used. I'm afraid i'll have to ask you to pay for damages." She said while smiling. She then caught the attention of the three thugs who were now facing her.
"Are you Siusha?" A deep gravely voice said. The man who owned this voice stepped foward, revealing a very short man clad in dark leather and two revolvers around his waist. His face was full of scars and he appeared to be unshaven and old.
"Yes, I am." she replied.
The second figure stepped forward, a much taller person than the first, also clad in leather but with pieces of makeshift armor attached to every part of his body, like a scavenger. In a very high pitched voice he exclaimed, "We're gonna rob this place and take you out!" He said while having difficulty unsheathing his long sword.
"How cute." Siusha replied.
The third figure just stood in the background.
The first thug then drew his revolver and aimed it at Siusha's head. "Ain't gonna be cute once i'm done with you, in more ways than one." He chuckled.
Siusha smiles.
Then, a huge rumble of chairs and table could be heard from behind the group. It was Simon, who was removing the furniture that buried him alive. "Ragh! Stupid wood!" As he climbed out the rubble and furniture pile, he looked towards the receptionist desk, and saw Siusha being held at gunpoint.
"What the hell is going on here?" Simon questioned.
The second thug exclaimed, "This here is a stickup, give us yer money an we'll let you live!"
Simon replied, "Oh? A stickup huh? Finally something exciting happens...!" He looks around the debris around him and notices a glimmer in a pile of stone and wood. He then uncovers dirt and debris to reveal his sword, which was also thrown about during the explosion.
"Good thing this din't impale me while I was flying through the air..." He thought to himself.
He then wields his giant rectangular sword and points it at the thugs. "Not much of a heroic entrance though, I'll give you thugs that, but just know that i'm going to kick your asses."
The second thug was taken aback at the sight of the sword and turns towards the first. "I thought you said there wern't gon be anybody here?!"
The first thug grunts and looks at the third, who, with her slim figure clad in leather and donning a mask concealing the face, was found just leaning at the wall.
The first yells, "Ah well it's just one slayer, an there's two of us. Lets get this fool and git out! You, third woman! Keep an eye on Siusha here! Make sure she doesn't run!" The third then just calmly walks over towards Siusha.
"Can't this woman at LEAST try to look serious? Grr, women..." The first thug thought to himself.
Simon jumps past the railing separating the bar area and the main receptionist lobby to meet the two thugs. "I hope yer' ready little guy! We're gon make sure this gon be your last say!" The second said.
Simon clutched his sword and let out a battle cry, and all that was in Siusha's mind was who was going to be responsible for all the damages.
