~Sorry this is so long in coming and is so short. I think I'm going to keep these chapters short though. I hope you enjoy~

I relaxed a little as the movie went on and snuggled closer to Tony, sliding my arm around his waist and resting a hand on Bruce's hip. I was smiling a little when Tony wrapped his arm tighter around me and shifted me closer. I didn't even know what movie we were watching but I was enjoying it non-the-less.

I was smiling and enjoying the quiet company of Tony and Bruce when some of the other Avengers came into the television room. It was Clint and Natasha that walked in, both of them seeming to have forgotten I was in the tower. They froze when they saw me sitting on the couch next to their fellow Avengers and glared.

"It didn't take you long to cozy up to them." Clint snarled out at me. "Watch him, he probably only wants something, that's why he's acting all buddy-buddy with you." I flinched a little. I knew why he didn't like me and didn't trust me but I didn't know how to make him… Make both him and Natasha believe I hadn't done it of my own free will.

Before I could say anything or defend myself in anyway, not that I was actually planning on it Tony stood up angrily and took a step toward the two of them. Bruce moved into the spot he had vacated and wrapped his arms around me.

Tony glared at Clint and Natasha as he stood between us and them. "You will keep your fucking mouths shut about him. If you are not going to listen to his side of things then you have no right to speak. It just so happens I believe his side of things and I forgive him even though he threw me out a window." He yelled at the two of them. "Natasha, I know for a fact there is red in your book that you want to clean out by doing these good deeds. Does that make you any better than Loki? He didn't do these things of his free will yet you are blaming him like it was."

Natasha at least had the decency to look a little ashamed. Bruce tightened his arms around me a little and let out a quiet snicker at Tony telling them off. Tony turned his back on the two spies, heading back to the couch where we were sitting before pausing and smirking over his shoulder. "Oh and it wasn't Loki that was buddying up to us. It was us buddying up to him. I like him and want him to be my friend." He turned back to me and looked at me with soft eyes. "I want him to be much more than that."

I felt my heart soar a little at that. I knew he wanted to be friends, maybe even friends with benefits but I didn't know he wanted something serious. Obviously it was serious if he was willing to tell two of the Avengers about it.

Bruce kissed the top of my head and pulled me closer as he said "as do I." I smiled and buried my face in his throat, flushing happily. The two spies looked flabbergasted before quickly retreating out of the room, not knowing what to say but not wanting to apologize either.

I looked up at Tony and Bruce, giving them a thankful smile. "Thank you… I've never really had anyone defend me like that." I hugged Bruce and then Tony as he sat down beside me.

They were now sitting on either side of me with an arm wrapped around me. "I'm sorry that no one defended you like that. You are pretty amazing." Bruce murmured into my hair as he held me close, Tony nodding his agreement. I had never felt so excepted. I just hoped the rest of the Avengers would eventually warm up to me.

I smiled as we all turned our attentions back to the movie, Tony and Bruce arguing the validity of the science in it while I sat between them, listening and chuckling quietly. I didn't realize just how comfortable I was with them already and how drained I still was from my fall and injuries. I started to doze off listening to them and the movie, face buried in Bruce's neck.

The last thing I heard before I fell asleep wasn't a part of their playful argument. It was Bruce whispering to Tony as he stroked my back. "I'm glad you convinced me and the other guy to give him a chance."
