Chapter 6-
Bella's POV
I stumbled my way upstairs into my room to get my bag.
What the hell was Edward thinking, offering to give me a ride. Is he insane? I heard the front door close and I presumed it was Carlise since I heard someone come upstairs, and Carlise usually doesn't. I was right, it was Edward.
Edward walked right into my room, like he owned the place and sat on my bed.
"So, what the hell was that?" I asked, feelings of confusion hitting me like a brick, but there was another feeling. It was…happiness. Was I happy that Edward asked me, no of course not.
"I dunno…it just came out. It felt right" he mumbled quietly to me before getting up.
"Well lets go" he stated before he walked out his door to get his bag.
"Umm Edward, wha..what about Alice?" I asked him, my stomach doing summersaults on me. I knew I shouldn't have ate today.
"Ohh shit…" he mumbled, obviously forgetting about her.
"Well screw her, se can take her own damn car" he said and went downstairs. He turned around halfway.
"You coming?" I quickly ran to catch up to him.
When we went downstairs, I saw Alice waiting for us…well Edward.
"Hmmmm…I guess Carlise hates her too, I mean he did leave her…guess she has to walk." Alice sneers, glaring at me with so much hate.
Man if looks can kill.
"Actually Alice.." Edward started moving in front of me so she couldn't glare at me anymore.
Thank you Edward.
"She is riding with us today"
"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAT" Alice screams.
Man that scream could wake up the dead.
"I AM NOT GOING INSIDE A CAR WITH THAT…THAT THING. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!" she continues to scream.
I was surprised that Esme didn't come, but I have a feeling that she was listening to what Edward might say.
"Well she's coming, so you either suck it up or call someone" Edward snaps and goes outside. I quickly followed him.
But the strangest thing was I felt someone staring at me…and it wasn't Alice.
Ha was gonna stop there but it was too short
I quickly got inside Edward's car and he started it up. Alice came in too but she sat in the back.
If she didn't want to come with us, why didn't she just call her other friends?
The drive to the school was very quiet…and awkward. I looked down at my folded hands on my lap the entire ride. When the car stopped I looked up, surprised that we were already at school.
It takes me so much longer than that.
Alice quickly got out of the car and hugged Jasper, glaring at the direction of the car. Obviously she was telling him what happened today.
They both glared at the direction of the car, than walked away.
I felt a tear run down my cheek and was surprised when I felt Edward wipe it away.
"I..I" I started but he shushed me.
"Don't cry for them, please" he mumbled.
"Its not that. It's you. Yo..You're gonna get hurt cause of me. That's not fair" I told him feeling horrible.
Charlie should have just killed me.
I felt a hand turn my face around and I was soon gazing into a gorgeous pair of green eyes.
GORGEOUS! WHAT THE HELL
"Its not your fault. Its..I..I got myself into this mess, but I wouldn't change it. Actually I lied. I wish you weren't it the situation, or that you had someone to talk to before this. Or that I didn't beat your ass before and did I apologize for that? I am so fucking sorry, I was just following but..but not anymore.." Edward rambled on and on till I stopped him
"Its what you did. Do I trust you 100%, No. Do I forgive you, I am scared at times and memories are still there but I am forgiving you. Especially cause you stood up to me, that you offered me a ride so I wouldn't have to have another awkward ride with Carlise. That you asked how I was this morning. It..it meant a lot" I told him, proud I didn't stutter till the end.
"Uhh thanks I guess" he mumbles looking down. I heard the first bell ring
"We better get to class right now" he told me getting out the car. He walked over and opened my door as well.
"Well lets go" he took my hand and brought me out of the car.
There were a couple of people looking at us.
Okay I lied EVERYONE was looking at us, talking about us, just because Edward was next to me.
"Just ignore them." He started before I was pushed against the loker. I looked up ans=d saw Emmett glaring at me and Edward.
"What the hell are you doing Edward" he sneers
"Nothing, now get out of my way. I am going to be late" Edward says, pushing Emmett away.
"NO. We are like brothers. Don't push me away for this thing. For that waste of space" he yells and I flinched.
Charlie says the same thing.
"DID YOU NOT SEE HOW MUCH SHE HURT ALICE" Emmett continued to yell and I started to slid down the locker.
"Alice got hurt cause of HER actions. Bella didn't do anything. Actually, she did nothing to any of us." I heard Edward reply before everything turned dark.
Edward POV
When I saw Bella being pushed towards the locker, I was about to punch the person but that's when I saw it was Emmett.
"What the hell are you doing Edward"
"Nothing, now get out of my way. I am going to be late'' I replied rudely. I hate it when people talk to me like that.
"Nothing…" Emmett kept going on and on about how horrible my Bella was…WHOA WHOA WHOA my Bella? Where on earth did that come from?
"…HOW MUCH SHE HURT ALICE"
That's when I snapped. Emmett had no fucking right to bring Alice into this. Alice got into shit by herself. Hell I got the same fucking talk.
"Alice got hurt cause of HER actions. Bella didn't do anything. Actually, she did nothing to any of us." I replied, clenching my teeth, trying not to rip his throat.
Emmett was about to reply when I turned to see Bella sliding onto the floor. I quickly took her into my arms so she doesn't bust her head.
Emmett was even more furious now but I wasn't even paying attention to him now.
"Come one Bella get up" I muttered to her, stroking her face. Nothing
I pushed Emmett, jasper and the rest of the gang away so I could get Bella to the nurse.
I knew that was me not too long ago but I changes.
I would protect Bella.
