A/n Hello ^.^
To gamelover41592: ;~; Yeah, I know. This one's longer though. 1,232 words. Excluding the author's notes at the beginning and end. =P

Yellowtail of SkyClan: It's confusing, right? ._. I don't know if Jayfeather or Feathersong explained it very well in this chapter, but I'll go through it at the end so everyone knows what's going on haha =3

SomeoneI'mSure: Why thank you. I've noticed that too; how there aren't many stories on this site (and on all of the writing sites I've been on) that don't make me want to tear my eyes out. Lol I try to ignore the grammar mistakes and misspelled words, but really, there's a big difference between your, you're, there, their, they're, two, too, to, and just because a word ends in an s, doesn't mean you have to put an apostrophe before it! Okay, I should stop. Hahah ^.^' I remember making mistakes like that. *cough* That's embarrassing.
I like your suggestion and I agree about the Fourth not having powers and all that.

spyrofan34: Jayfeather can't see. Well, not everything. I'll explain it later =P

MogwaiTheCat: I hate cliffhangers too, but they're just so fun! Haha And thank you! =3 I'm flattered.

zZzSaphireBluezZz: I will work on the description part! I didn't even realize how much conversation there was until I was looking over it and yeah... Wow. Haha =) I made this chapter longer by about 400 words. Yayayay ^.^ That's a good start, right?

broweiss27: You see, Jayfeather didn't tell Feathersong because he knew she wasn't going to know how to react to it. He had to wait until he thought she was ready to deal with the thought of being part of the Three so yeah.. =)

Ven Veni Ventus: Thank you! Haha =) Cats don't have eyebrows, but they have brows, where the eyebrows would be and yeah.. Haha yeah, I should just say widen their eyes and stuff =P

KaiFukugawa: Wow, that's quite a name you got there lol I had to switch back and forth between tabs to make sure I got it right =P I ship JayxFeather too =3 hint hint.

Wow, that's a lot of reviews! OuO It's a dream come true! Thank you! You guys are amazing.

I widen my eyes. "Y-you can see me?"

The seriousness in Jayfeather's eyes makes me freeze for a second. Then burst out in laughter. "Oh yes, I'm sure you can see me. A blind cat can see. Hah! You're quite the actor, Jay."

The medicine cat tilts his head, frowning. "I'm not lying. Everything else is dark but I can see you…"

I blink. "Is that even possible?"

He shrugs. "Longtail told me he could see you too."

"What? When was this?" My eyes widen again.

"When you first stepped into the elders' den; he came to me and asked what was going on." Jayfeather murmurs. "The blind can see you."

It takes a while to process his sentence. The blind can see you.

Can the deaf hear me; the paraplegic feel me?

Can I pass every boundary and defy the rules of logic? How? How can I do something that is impossible?

"I- I need a moment." I mutter, turning towards the WindClan border.

Jayfeather pauses, but then sighs and gets up, making his way back to camp.

When I reach the river, it is low and dark. Dried mud is packed around the sides, filled with cracks and alive with beetles. Once, it was beautiful sparkling water, crystal blue and full of silver fish. Green grass used to cushion the ground, springy with little purple flowers. Now the grass is yellow and dry and spiky.

This is the worst Greenleaf I've experienced. It's supposed to be filled with butterflies and the cool wind blowing through our hot and sweaty fur. There should be days where we'd go to the lake and splash around in the cool water, but now there barely is a lake to even drink from, let alone play in.

I let out a shaky breath. Dovekit is the one who must fix this. She has to sense the beavers and insist that they are real and that they are the reason there's barely any water getting through.

"Hey." Foxleap's deep voice sounds behind me.

I glance at him and force a smile. "Hi."

Behind him, Poppyfrost emerges from the bushes and I freeze. She looks at me with wide, surprised eyes. "Oh, hello Feathersong,"

"Hi." I repeat, getting up. "I'm going to the lake to get water for the elders." I murmur as I duck under a low hanging branch. It scrapes my back and I wince slightly, but not loud enough for them to hear me.

When I get to the lake, I gasp. It's five times smaller than it was yesterday and there's more mud than water now. Fish are scattered around the edge of the water and I wonder if it would be edible or not. Not that ThunderClan would want that; fish are RiverClan's thing! I grab a dry, stale wad of moss, probably the last there is from what I can see, and dip it into the water. It trickles into my mouth and down my chin and I cough.

I spit the moss out of my mouth and bend over, coughing harder. The dirt and dust is sticking in my throat and I try to drink more water but I end up gagging it.

"Are you okay?" I turn around. It's Mousewhisker, and beside him, Icecloud watches me with big blue eyes, brimming with concern.

I nod weakly. "Yeah," My stomach hurts. The water is contaminated or something, because now I feel like I've eaten crow-food.

"You don't look so good, Feathersong." Icecloud mews quietly.

"Maybe you should see Jayfeather." Mousewhisker sympathizes.

"I don't think that water is safe." I say, glancing at the lake. "Try the rivers?"

Mousewhisker shrugs, but Icecloud nods vigorously. "Okay."

As I walk back to the camp, I breathe in the hot air. No breeze stirs the air; the forest is seemingly still. The ground beneath my paws is warm, dry and dusty, and leaves litter the forest floor. Flies dart between the trees and circle my ears before shooting off again.

When I enter the camp, many cats are sitting in the shade around the edges of the clearing. The fresh-kill pile is looking awfully low, a mouse, thrush and a small wood pigeon lie limply on top of one another.

Instead of going to the medicine cat den, I go to one of the shaded areas near the nursery. Dovekit rolls out of the entrance and looks up at me with wide eyes and Ivykit scrambles after her.

I watch her examine me, and then give her sister a look. She turns back to me. "Were you a loner like Daisy?" She asks.

I nod. "It's much better being a Clan cat though."

"Are you going to the Gathering tonight?" Her green eyes sparkle. "I want to go but mother says kits can't go to Gatherings." She frowns. "Guess we'll have to wait another moon until we can go."

"We'll be apprentices long before then!" Ivykit squeals. "It's only a few days after tomorrow!"

Whitewing emerges from the nursery entrance and starts walking towards the fresh-kill pile, concern etched on her face. "There isn't much left, is there? Hopefully the hunting party comes back with something…" She picks the mouse up and takes it back to the nursery; Dovekit and Ivykit follow her eagerly.

I finally decide I should go get something for my aching stomach from Jayfeather or Leafpool but the den is empty. I sit patiently near the entrance, feeling a little lightheaded from all the different herbs. Their aromas drift from the back of the den where the store is. It's nice and cool in here, maybe because there is barely any sunlight getting in to the room, though there isn't a small pool of water like there used to be. Instead, a thin ray of light shines through, brightening the little dip in the ground where the small source of water was held.

The brambles tremble and Jayfeather ducks into the medicine cat den, widening his eyes in surprise when he sees me. "Feathersong, are you-"

Leafpool's muffled meow cuts him off. "Jayfeather, there's something wrong with the water down by the lake. Icecloud says it's filthy and making other cats sick."

He turns around just as she squeezes through the entrance. "Could you go check it out for me please?"

Jayfeather nods unsurely and glances back at me. Meet me there once you're done here.

I'm certain that's what he's telling me.

"What can I do for you?" Leafpool asks, walking up to the store and placing a few leaves in there. It must have taken her forever to find that.

"I drank from the lake, and it made me a little sick." I say, trying to cover up my embarrassment. I should have known there was something dodgy about that water.

The medicine cat nods and pulls out a couple of little blue berries. "We don't have many left, but if I get some mallow leaves, you should be okay." She comes back with two leaves and the berries and sets them down in front of me.

"Thank you." I murmur, eating them quickly.

She observes me, her eyes scanning my face. "When will you just accept that you are part of the Three?"

I don't answer her. I don't know what to think anymore. Jayfeather says he can see me. But what kind of power is that?

A/n Okay. When Jayfeather looks at Feathersong, he sees her how every cat would see her. Like, if it was night time, he'd barely see her, and when it was day time, he'd be able to see where the sun touches her fur and the shadows and everything. When something goes in front of her, it's just a shadow, like if there was a bush, he'd see her but not the bush. It's really really confusing, but just bear with me lol.
