"These will be returned to you later." Carlisle says as he pockets our car keys. We're both still crying, but we're trying to keep it together.
"When?" Emmett chokes out.
"When you boys earn them back."
"How?"
"You will have to figure that part out on your own."
Emmett sighs, but doesn't argue. I just keep sobbing.
"Jasper is very hurt by what you two have done. You need to apologize and make up for your wrongdoings."
We nod so quickly that we resemble bobble heads.
Carlisle wraps his arms around our shoulders and pulls us into a hug. One of Emmett's arms braces against Carlisle's back. We stay like that for only a few seconds, but it's enough time to put everything back to normal. Once we pull away, everyone is cool with each other again.
"I'll let the others stay out a little longer so you two have some time to relax." He says and pats our shoulders.
We nod and he sends us out of the bedroom. We walk quietly towards our rooms, sharing only a few words before we part ways.
"How are we going to make it up to him?" Emmett asks. I shrug.
"I dunno," I sigh. "But we better think of something good."
