Chapter 10: Make me forget

"Another shot of patron please" Beck said to the cute slender redhead bartender, who was behind the bar.

"Don't you think you had enough?" She asked with a concern look on her face.

"No I'm just getting started" he said.

The bartender hesitantly poured him another shot and passed it to him. "Thanks cutie" Beck winked at her which made the bartender blush a little, forgetting that she was just worried about him.

He knew the bartender was attracted to him the moment he walked into the bar. By the way she was looking him with her pretty light brown eyes and pushing up her boobs, he could tell she was mentally undressing him. Beck was use to girls fawning over him, but this woman was at least twenty-five, and that was something he was not use too. Going over to the bar he decided to flirt and charm her so she'll let him stay because he was underage, which she took the bait without even thinking twice about getting in trouble for letting someone who have three years until their twenty-one to sit at the bar. After quickly throwing back his fourth shot, Beck took out his phone and looked at it only to realize he still have a picture of him and Jade as his wallpaper. Where did it go wrong? He asked his self while looking at Jade genuinely smiling (something she usually have to force), and him with his arm around her shoulder, kissing the side of her head. Beck was everything a boyfriend should be, at least that's what he thought. He loved and cared for her, been there for her when she needed him, calmed her down when she was in her crazy moods, and understood her when no one ever seemed to. But while Beck was being the perfect boyfriend, Jade wasn't really a great girl friend now thinking about it. She constantly bossed him around, grouchy for no apparent reason, and insecure as hell, especially over girls Beck was friends with. So maybe Jade did him a favor by breaking his heart, but then again that still didn't change what he felt about her because despite all her flaws, he accepted her for who she was and saw something lovable about her that no one did. Starting to feel the effects of the four shots he had, Beck decided to call Jade for some answers. They been together for as long as he can remember and she owes him that much. With her phone going to voice-mail he leaves her a message.

"Jade please call me! we need to talk".

Not satisfied with that message, he decide to call back and leave another one. "Hey Jade it me again. Look we been through so much and always gotten through whatever was thrown at us. I love you so much Jade. Call me as soon as you get this".

After taking his fifth shot, Beck started to really feel the effects of the alcohol he was consuming. Trying to wait patiently for Jade to call him back, he was becoming angry so once again her dialed her number and left another voice-mail.

"You know what Jade, your a Bitch" He slurred. "I'm soo happy and relieved to be free from someone who took my heart and stomped on it, then poured acid on it. Your an evil whore and I hope that punk ass of a new boyfriend of yours do you the same way you did me! Have a nice awful life Jade!"

"What the heck!" Tori opened her dorm room front door and found Raven and Dj carrying a drunk Beck through it. "What happened to him?" She asked them while they carried him all the way to the couch and sat him down.

"We were coming back from the Jump and we found him walking back to the school like this" Raven said, smoothing out her clothes.

"Yeah and we didn't want to take him back to his room, not with the type of room mate his has" Dj added.

"Beck are you ok?" Tori asked him. He mumbled something and then groaned laying his head in her lap. She began to run her fingers through his hair to soothe him a little.

"Are you gonna be ok being alone with him cause me and Dj are stepping back out" Raven said.

"Yeah you guys go ahead" Tori waving her hand shooing them away. "Imma try to get him better.

"Alright see ya" Raven and Dj left leaving Tori with Beck.

It has been a long time since Tori seen Beck drunk like this. he's usually soo responsible when it comes to it because they're not even tweenty-one yet to go all crazy drunk.

"I'm gonna go get you some water" Tori told him, moving his head from her lap and getting up to go get the water bottle from the frig.

When she came back she handed it to him and he opened it taking a big gulp of it. Tori was looking at him as well he was looking at her, but there was silence between them. After about twenty minutes, Beck started to sober up a little.

"I made a mistake today" He finally broke the long stretched silence.

"I know I can see" Tori said.

"No not me being drunk" Beck rolled his eyes. "I mean I gave in and called Jade"

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to her to explain to me just why I wasnt what she wanted anymore" He said then laughed to his self "But of course she didn't pick up. I don't care anymore".

"You do care Beck or else you wouldn't be drunk right now" Tori interjected.

"No I'm drunk because I wanted to forget" He drank some more of the water. "But I cant forget because the pain is still there Tor, and it just seem like its never gonna go away".

This really hurted Tori to hear him talk about being in pain. She tried to protect him from it but it completely backfired on her. All she know Jade must be quite proud of her handy work because she left Beck still wanting her.

Tori put her hand on his shoulder, "The pain will go away Beck, but it just take time. Soon Your gonna be happy that she let you go and your gonna forget about all of this"

Beck grabbed her hand that was resting on her shoulder and kissed the back of it. "Help me forget Tor" He said lowly, and before she knew it He brung his lips to hers and kissed her. He pulled back and saw the stunned look on her face and then caressed her cheek. That was the last thing Tori was expecting but it felt nice. With his hand still on her cheek, they stared at each other looking into each other eyes before Beck moved back in and starting kissing her again. It was very slow and Becks lips couldn't feel anymore right on Toris lips. He lightly licked his tongue her lips asking for more entrance so they can deeping it, and she didn't hesitate to let him. With their tongues tangling together, Beck started to move his hand up and down her arm to the side of her body caressing her, while Tori moved her hand to his hair pulling him closer to her. And with that they both fall back on the couch with Beck on top of Tori, moving his lips to her neck making her moan softly while he attacks her sensitive spot. Running her hand through his hair, and enjoying the sweet kisses he's was giving her, Tori began to think about what they are doing. Of course she's enjoying making out with the guy that every girl and including her dream to have, but he's heart broken right now and the last thing she wants to be is his rebound. and on top of that at the rate their going it might turn into something more that she wasn't ready for yet. Beck moved his lips from her neck and captured her lips again. OMG what am I doing? Tori yelling at herself. The light bulb still flashing at her in her mind, Tori pushed Beck off her.

"Beck we can't do this" Tori breathing heavily, and before he can say something she continued. "Your heart broken right now Beck and in pain. As much as I want to keep going, it just doesn't feel right when you're still in love with someone else."

Beck nodded his head "I understand. I'm sorry Tori".

"No its ok Beck but us making out is just not right"she said. "Look Beck your still drunk and you're gonna have a killer hangover if you don't get some rest, so you can crash her on the couch".Tori got up from the couch to walk towards her room.

"Thanks Tor" Beck said looking at her with a small smile.

"For what?" She turned around to look at him. "For being a good friend to me even when I blamed you for what Jade done. I'm truly sorry about that".

"Its ok" Tori softly said.

"Um can you stay here with me?" He asked, "I mean I need my best friend and I promise to keep my hands to myself".

"Yeah" Tori laughed and sat back on the couch.

Beck lied his head on her lap once more. What would I do if I didn't have Tori Vega in my life? Beck wondered before closing his eyes.
