-Journey to face the Past "Two Worlds (Reprise)"
At dusk, Link and Zelda stood at the edge of the jungle with Ike and Marth. Marth was saying to the lions, "Everyone throughout the jungle knows by now that Ganondorf is gone. All his followers have sworn off the masks, and they've agreed to remain on the edge of the jungle and continue only hunting for necessity."
"That's good to know," Link smiled, "Glad to know we're leaving this place better than we found it."
"Are you sure you have to go?" Marth asked, "You two could stay here always, you'd be more than welcomed now that you're such great heroes to us."
"We've freed this jungle from an evil tyrant," Zelda said, "Now it's time for us to return to our home and free it from another."
"Tell Toad and Yoshi we'll be back for them as soon as we've defeated Scar," Link said, "And remember to tell them all that I told you."
"I will," Marth promised. Ike said, "You two have done our realm a great service. I wish you all the luck in saving your home."
"Thank you," Link said, "And thanks again for everything."
Ike smiled and nodded. Link turned to Marth and said, "Good-bye Marth."
"Take care of yourself, both of you," Marth made them promise. Link then turned to Zelda and said, "Ready?"
"As much as I'll ever be," Zelda said as they turned to the horizon and, wasting no time, began to hurry across the plains northward, determined to return to the Pride Lands and reclaim it. As they ran, a singer began to sing, accompanied by the music from the beginning of the act, "Every moment now the bond grows stronger. Two worlds, one family. Trust your heart, let fate decide, to guide these lives we see!"
As the pair disappeared over the horizon, Ike whispered to himself, "Thank you…"
Well, there ends the second act. Stay tuned for the third act, where Link and Zelda return home to begin the final battle, in which Link will face his brother and uncle, as well as his final test on his journey to become king.
