BPOV
Once I realized he was gone I raced out of the cottage and tried to sniff out for his scent. I searched and searched for hours. Nothing. There was no trace of Edward anywhere. He was gone. I didn't even pick up the stranger's scent. Edward was kidnapped and I was right there when it happened. The love of my life just got kidnapped and I didn't do anything about it.
I raced to the main house and busted open the door. I saw everyone look at me like I was crazy.
" Bella, what the hell? You just broke the door!" Emmet exclaimed with two suitcases in his hand.
" Who cares Emmett!" I snapped at him. I felt all my energy leave me along with my life as I collapsed on the floor. Alice raced to me and started stroking my back and asking what's wrong.
" He's gone" I whispered.
" She's in shock" I hear Carlisle say as he came to sit on the opposite side of Alice.
" Bella, sweetie, who's gone?" Esme I asked in her motherly voice trying to sweetly coax it out of me.
" Edward. He's been kidnapped. Someone took him and I didn't do anything about it. I was right there and I didn't hear, smell, or sense anyone near the cottage. Now he's gone." I made sure my voice was loud enough so that everyone could hear me.
"Carlisle what do we do?" Esme said to her husband, " Who would take Edward?" she asked with concern and panic in her voice. She was worried about her son.
" Emmett, jasper, Rosalie, and Alice all of you search the ground see if you can sniff out where this mystery person took Edward" Carlisle ordered.
I spoke up before they could race out the door, " Alice wait! I searched for him before I came here. I did a very through search of the woods and picked up nothing. No trail. No scent. Nothing." I stated the facts that I found out while searching for my lost husband.
" Well I don't know anyone that has that kind of power" Jasper stated with a Texas accent. " Could be a nomad finishing what Victoria started" he suggested.
" I doubt she had contact with any other nomad but Laurent and James, and there both dead." Alice stated.
"We know one person who has that kind of power" I whispered but they all heard me anyway.
"Who, Bella?" Alice asked.
"Aro" I simply said.
EPOV
I woke up in a dark room, I couldn't smell anything so I figured I was in the room alone. Where the hell am I? I thought to myself. I got up and felt along the walls, so am in a small room with a door n four walls but no furniture.
I stopped searching the door for a key hole as I heard footstep outside the door. Once I saw they were a foot away from the door I stepped back n leaned up against the far wall.
The door opened and a man spoke, " Edward Cullen it's a pleasure to have you here" the man said in a condescending voice.
" I would argue with that if I was certain of whose presents I was in" I responded. The man stood in the threshold in the shadows were I couldn't see his face, though I was sure I knew who he was by the sound of his voice.
" Ahh I was sure you would have read my thoughts by now and figured it out. Is the great Cullen clan losing there touch?" he said with a soft but sarcastic laugh.
" No, I can read your thoughts. Which is why I want know why you separated from the Volturi and why do you want to start a war with your brother, Caius?".
"It doesn't make sense to want to go against Aro just because of a few disagreements. My family and myself are so appreciative because you let Bella live-" he cut me off there and started to explain himself.
"There's where your wrong, Edward. I wanted the human to die, Marcus and Aro wanted to give your clan benefit of the doubt but I knew what a risk it would be to let her live. Especially with a love like you to have. Who knows what could be the product of that, an abomination could be produced" he said. I saw what he imagined the product of my love for Bella would produce. I saw this child but it Caius was imaging, he thought the time of the immortal children would come again if Bella and I had a child.
"Bella is a vampire now, we couldn't have children now even if we wanted too" I said, hearing the little disappointment in my voice.
"When I sent my men to get you, Edward, I had them check on your wife. One of men has a power that senses other life forces and what they are. When he saw beautiful Bella he didn't just sense her but something else too. It is true that we can not have children but maybe that has something to do with our power because beautiful Bella is with child I assure you." Caius said to me.
All I could do was stare at him and then suddenly think and wonder if its true. Is Bella pregnant? Am I going to be a father? How is this possible? If she is pregnant then, who knows if this pregnancy is normal or supernatural?
"Caius, if that's true then why don't you let me go so I can go to her? Why do you need me? If you know something about Bella and her being pregnant then you must share it with me". I struggled to get out of my restraints so that I could make a quick escape. Caius only has two guards outside the door and I could take them easily.
"Now why would I do that, Cullen?" Caius spat the words out as if he couldn't stand the name coming out of his mouth. " Your union with Bella has created a monster and I must stop it. I'm going to kill your precious Bella before my brother can protect her. He thinks its fascinating and wants to study your clan. I disagreed and left them. I will no longer be his right hand. The Vampire community will follow my rule once I overcome my brother" he said as if talking to a board of advisors.
" This is ludicrous Caius and you know it. You will never be able to rule." I stated still trying to loosen the restraints.
I finally got the restraints off. At vampire speed I knocked Caius out and took care of his two guards outside. After cutting corners right and left I found the exit door to the outside and found out by the clues around me that I was actually in Washington D. C. I wasn't too far from forks. I traveled at vampire speed to the nearest forest and tried my hardest to run as fast as my legs will carry me so that I could get to Bella and the others before anything bad happens.

We all talked about the possibilities of Aro being behind Edward's kidnapping and agreed to go to Volterra and ask him some questions before we go and start drama with the man. So I was in the cottage packing a bag of clothes just in case we decided to stay in Volterra and do some investigating when I got this sharp pain in my stomach. My knees buckled at the pain and I called out for Alice and she was by my side in a second.
"Alice…" I could only whisper her name cause of how much the pain I was in. I had no clue to what was happening right now. I heard Alice call out for Emmett and he swooped me up into his arms and carried me to the main house an d laid me on one of the beds upstairs. The pain got worse, it now felt as if something was breaking inside me. Knives poking every part of my stomach area. It was excruciating.
" What happened to her?" I could hear Carlisle ask, then I was standing over me examining my stomach. He probably knew something was wrong in that area by the way I was holding it.
"I don't know. I just saw Bella fall on the ground in pain in a vision next thing I know I hear her calling me from the cabin" Alice said. " I called Emmett so he could help me get her here. Carlisle, what's wrong?" she was worried about me and scared for me.
"Ouch! What's happening to me? It feels like something is tearing me apart!" I screamed and moaned. I felt like something was ripping through my bone and skin and trying to get out. I heard panic as Carlisle tried to discover the source of my pain. Alice was with him trying to calm me down.
Everyone else was downstairs worrying and until something happened that shocked and confused us all. I heard the door slam open and someone raced up the stairs. It wasn't until the door opened that I knew who it was. Edward.
"Edward!" I moaned then screamed in agony. He rushed over to me but not before he hugged Carlisle and Alice. He put his hand over my forehead and tried to calm me down by saying everything was gonna be alright. He kissed me then turned to talk to his father.
" Carlisle, Bella's pregnant." he said. Pregnant? How could I be pregnant? I mean I thought that was impossible once I became a vampire.
" But she is in serious pain, Edward. I need to know how this is possible. I need information so that I can help Bella. I don't know what to do here" Carlisle said.
" We have to see Caius, he knows what to do" Edward told Carlisle and Alice.
" Why do you think Caius will help? How does he know about this?" Alice asked.
"Caius knows something that could help Bella. He was the one who told me she was pregnant. He was my captor" Edward said.
We packed our stuff and trusted that Edward could get Caius to help us.
