I woke up.

In a white room.

On a white bed.

With a dress on.

What?

Where am I?

Where's Raleigh?

I looked over and spotted a few medical materials.

A hospital?

Why?

I tried to get out of my bed but I was too sore to get up. I did my best and sat up. I looked around and spotted no one so I got out of my room and walked the white, empty hall.

"Raleigh..." I whispered to myself. I had to find him.

The hall seemed like it would never end. I picked up my pace and started to run I looked through each room. All of them were empty. Empty, empty, empty.

"Raleigh.." I said in the empty hall.

No one heard. No one was there. No one, except for me.

"Raleigh." I said louder.

I turned my body to look back, my ribs started to ache and my legs became weak. I grunted and slipped over my hospital gown. I coughed out blood but got up. I kept going, I kept going. I kept going passed empty room and followed the endless hall.

"Raleigh!" I shouted.

I felt frightened and scared. I was horrified by the fact that the wall seemed endless. I was horrified by the fact that I felt alone. I was horrified because I couldn't find Raleigh.

"Raleigh!" I shouted with all my strength.

Then I fell, and everything went black.

I woke up in the same place I passed out. What is happening? What is happening me?!

I heard a groan. Then a moan. Then a big grunt. I looked back and noticed a room that I missed. I weakly got up and walked slowly towards the room. I peered through the window and saw... Raleigh. I gasped and opened the door.

"Raleigh!" I shouted at him.

He weakly looked at me and gestured me to come to his aid. I did. I ran to him and gave him a huge hug. I didn't realize my tears started to stream until Raleigh started to grunt. I opened my eyes and looked up at him.

"You're squeezing me too hard..." He said weakly.

"Oh my god..." I started to say and I adjusted myself on top of him, "I'm so sorry, Raleigh. I didn't mean t-"

Raleigh hushed me with a warm kiss to my lips. His smooth lips ran over mine. I was so grateful to feel them again. I ran my hands through his soft yet rough blonde hair and I felt his arms running down my gown. I lifted my body weight up and deepened the kiss. Raleigh titled his head sideways and I felt his tongue skim my lower lip. I gasped from the feeling but smiled at it too. I slowly let him go and fluttered my eyes open. Raleigh looked up at me, with satisfied eyes. I giggled and smiled at him. Raleigh gave a satisfied sigh and ran his hands up and down my back.

"Raleigh, where are we?" I asked him.

His mood suddenly flipped around. He looked confused, "You don't know too?" He simply said.

I gave him a questioned look, "What?"

He then chuckled, "Come on then. Let's find our way out together."

"We've been walking through this hallway for more than 5 times, Raleigh. What are we going to do?" I asked.

"Relax, we just need to find somebody." Raleigh said. Still looking around.

I gave him a slight nod and followed him.

Then, we saw a nurse. Dressed in all white. Asian nurse.

"Hey!" I shouted.

She turned and looked at us, "How can I help you?"

I laughed, "How can you help us? Well, you should definitely put some signs around this place! What kind of hospital is this?!"

"This is the Matilda hospital and we do have signs." She pointed at the wall.

There was indeed a sign. I looked at Raleigh, "What? How come I didn't see this?"

"Are you patient Caroline Oakley?" She asked me.

"Yeah..." I answered her.

"Well Caroline, you were in a bad concussion and your vision may seem to act a little funny." She said.

No wonder. No wonder I thought the hall was endless and just... white. What a concussion I had...

"Oh, okay." I simply said.

She smiled at me, "Let me send you back to your room and the doctor will check you up."

"Erm... okay but what about..." I gestured my hands to Raleigh.

"We will check up your boyfriend soon after you though." She said, "Ladies first." She smiled.

"Uh... he's not really my boyfriend..." I muttered. Raleigh wrapped his arms around my waist and gave me a big wet kiss. I pulled away, "Oh my gosh, Raleigh!"

Raleigh chuckled, "Are we dating?"

I shrugged, "I dunno..."

"You call the shots." He simply said.

I rolled my eyes, "Let's talk about this later."

Raleigh chuckled again and nodded. I walked behind the nurse, showing me to my room.

"Hello Ms. Oakley." The doctor said as he walked in my room.

"Um, hey." I said.

A pause.

"What happened to me... exactly?" I asked him.

The doctor smiled at me and sat down next to my bed, "My name is Dr. Li." Another pause, "What exactly happened to you was that you were in the Shatterdome. Gipsy Danger got a little out of control and blew up part of the base."

I gasped then touched my face. A part of my left side of my face had a big burn scab. When I touched it, it gave me a painful sting and I winced in pain.

Dr. Li nodded, "You may experience some strange visions because of your concussion. You a concussion because you fell hard on the edge of the table and collasped on the ground."

What?!

"You have a few scabs and bruises but they will heal in no time." Dr. Li continued, "All in all, you are doing pretty well. You just need a few days of rest. That is all."

I nodded but didn't say anything. So basically, I had a concussions and burns, bruises and scabs because of... Gipsy Danger pilots? Raleigh and Mako? What did they do? What happened to them?

"Raleigh Becket is injured pretty bad," Dr. Li said, "His forearm is fractured and he has a few scabs, burns and bruises just like you. He was electrocuted from the electricity and he has a small concussion." He finished.

"I didn't see any injuries on him." I stated.

"Your vision is funny, it happens because of your concussion."

"Alright then." I said.

"He needs to rest too, but longer than you." Dr. Li said.

"Alright then." I said again.

Dr. Li nodded, "Now let me check you up."

And he did so.

All I thought about that night was Raleigh and his injuries. I couldn't think about my injuries only Raleigh's... He meant the world to me. I couldn't sleep that night, I was too worried to. What will happen now? What will happen to him? What will happen to everyone?
