I had a writer's block. So please don't expect anything special.. please enjoy it :3
I stayed in the hospital for a few weeks. My trip to Hong Kong did not seem fun anymore. Why did I have to get hurt? Why did Raleigh have to get hurt? It didn't seem fair. We were finally ready to go after 10 days. It didn't seem that bad.
I met Raleigh in the Hospital lobby. He saw me and stood up. He embraced me in his arms and pecked a tiny kiss on my forehead. I didn't see him for 10 days, I was stuck in that stupid hospital room with white walls trapping me from the outside world.
"I missed you." Raleigh simply said.
I nodded, "Same here."
We went out of the hospital with a big welcoming view of Hong Kong city. Since we were on top of a mountain, near the famous Hong Kong peak it was beautiful. The day light shined through the buildings. Cars were zooming passed every direction. The ocean water was a deep blue. Everything seemed to be so perfect. Raleigh got a taxi for us and we walked inside.
"Can we go to the peak?" I asked.
Raleigh looked at me, "Really?"
I shrugged, "Since we're already here. Why not?"
He smiled at me and nodded, "Okay. Let's go to the peak."
And we were off.
The peak was amazing. The view was amazing. It was breathless how beautiful Hong Kong was when I was looking over it. The cars, the buildings, the roads and everything that made Hong Kong was beautiful. I couldn't even describe how beautiful it was, god... this is truly Hong Kong.
Raleigh snaked an arm around my waist, "How are your injuries?"
"They're good." I said, "And you?"
He kissed the top of my head, "Better."
We were walking up and down the trail that the peak provided. We noticed that their was an old tram that people took pictures of. That's right, a famous way to get to the peak was using a slow, red tram. Raleigh and I went inside. It was definitely old but it was very beautiful. There were two rows on each side of the tram, those wooden seats can fit two people. The windows were very big and provided people to look out and enjoy the Hong Kong view. The driver's seat was also wooden and the gears looked very old. It was a cute tram.
"Let's take the tram down, Raleigh." I said to him.
He smiled and nodded, "Yeah, this looks interesting."
We walked away from the crowd, away from the tram, away from the big buildings. We sat on the edge of a big rock, we didn't care if it was safe or not, we only cared how beautiful the scenery was. Raleigh's hands were around my waist and my back was against his hard stomach.
"Don't you ever do something like that again." Was my first words.
"Do what?" He looked weirdly.
I rolled my eyes, "Of course hurting yourself in that Jaeger when you see it the first time!"
"Oh, that wasn't my fault..." He said.
I titled my head to see his, "Wait... what? So... it was... Mako?"
He slowly nodded.
"Why?" I asked.
He shrugged, "Mako wasn't really good at the drift from the start. She gets too emotional and stuff like that happens."
"Did you think it would happen?" I asked.
"No, I thought she was going to get use to it." Raleigh said, "But maybe she can lost her conditions in the Jaeger. She can't hold the drift."
I sighed, "Did she do it on purpose?"
Raleigh shook his head.
"Good."
"Enough of this talk." Raleigh said, "Now, Mako said that the welcome back party starts tomorrow, it's been postponed for us. This is our day to rest."
I nodded and turned my body so that my stomach was touching his, I pushed him back on the big rock that we were siting on and gave him a kiss. A few seconds later, I let go.
"What? That was all?" Raleigh said. Then poked my side.
I laughed, "No, you silly."
Then I went down for another kiss.
Then another.
Then another.
Until the sun went down.
Raleigh waited for me as I got into the bed with him with a tank top and blue shorts. He wrapped his arms around me and sighed. "I'm so tired." I muttered into his chest. I heard his steady heart beating, his body was warm against mine, it felt good. Raleigh turned on the T.V and we began to watch a reality show. My eyes slowly fell down but Raleigh every once in a while, would jab my sides to keep my awake.
"What are you doing, Raleigh... I'm so tired..." I whined.
He chuckled and jabbed my left side. I flinched.
"Stooooop..." I tiredly said.
He kissed the top of my forehead and turned off the T.V.
He slowly lifted us down on the bed. He turned off the bedroom lights and we closed our eyes.
"So, tomorrow is the party." Raleigh whispered.
"Mhmm..." I said.
"Rest as much as you want..." Raleigh said with a yawn.
"Good night..." I said.
"Good night, Caroline." Raleigh replied.
That night, I slept well. I was lost in a dream with Raleigh and Raleigh only. We were alone together, in the woods, we gripped our hands tightly and walked slowly. We enjoyed the sensation of the mist around our bodies, the smell of trees and the beautiful and mysterious area that we were in.
Gah... this is not really good. Sorry... it's really short, had a really big writer's block :| Exam week next week, wanted to finish this as soon as possible.
