Xavier and Alex were sitting in English class when their communicators beeped. Both of them were anxiously waiting for the class to end so they can take the call. The bell rang. The boys sped walked to their lockers and got their bags and met up with the other three and went outside where no one can see them . Max paged Alpha. " What is it alpha ?" Max asked with the others huddled close to him. "Beetdown and Lazara are attacking downtown." " Ahh, two monsters." said Alex as he grinned. "We'll be right there." Said Max as the others nodded. The five got their morphers out. " It's morphin time !" yelled the five in unison. The five morphed and the spandex that is their uniform engulfed their bodies. The five teleported to the monster attack.
Lazara and Beetdown were shooting energy blasts at bulidings. People were fleeing for their lives. The rangers ran and stood parallel to the two monsters. " Hey Lazara, look who it is, it's the power punks." Said the beetle-human hybrid. "They would of made a great addition to my collection of species, too bad they will be dead by the time we're done." said Lazara. Diana started to sweat a little bit inside her helmet. Beetdown sensed Diana was afraid. He extended his wings and flew towards Diana and snatched her and flew to the top of the building. " Someone help me !" screamed Diana. She tried to get off but Beetdown was holding her too tight. " Guys, take out your weapons and take care of Lazara, while I go save Diana." Max said. The other three nodded and called out their weapons. " Stego-Shield !" shouted Xavier , " Para- Axe !" shouted Alex , " Velocio- Claws !" shouted Diana. The three rangers charged into battle. Alex swung his axe with all his might and chopped off a tengus arms. Lazara shot two high powered lasers out of eyes at Danica and Alex. Xavier who was busy fighting tengus, saw what was happening and pushed the tengus away and ran over to his cousin. He blocked the laser beams.
Meanwhile, Max was scaling the side of building. He couldn't some monster who looked liked it came straight from a cheesy 80's B-movie take Diana's life. He got to the top of the building, he saw Beetdown holding Diana. Max summoned his sword, " TYRANNO SABER !" he yelled. Max charged at Beetdown. His sword hit the monster's shell. Beetdown spun around and he also let go of Diana. Diana fell to the ground. Max looked down at his sword and saw a dial with numbers on it, he turned the dial to 50%. His blade turned bright orange. He swung at Beetdown, his sword hit the shell and left an imprint of the blade on the shell. Diana managed to pick herself up and summoned her bow. Before she shot her bow, Beetdown and Lazara retreated. Max and Diana looked up saw them retreat. " Let's get to the others." Said Max. Diana nodded. The two rangers met up with their fellow rangers. " Are you guys ok ?" asked Xavier. " Yea , were fine ." said Diana. " Let's get back to the command center and talk to mystic mother." said Max. The five teleported to the command center.
