~DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT~
Trunks was holding Wren's hand while they looked at the monitor. "Well this is weird." The doctor said looking shocked. "I've found two heart beats." She said looking at Wren and Trunks. Wren and Trunks looked at each other then looked at the screen. "I must haven't been paying attention on your first ultrasound." She said as she gave Wren an apologizing look.
"Well this is our second ultrasound it could have happened while it was still developing." Trunks said holding Wren's hand and looked at Wren's stunned face.
Trunks was still holding Wren's hand as he kissed her forehead. "Well there is your little people, do you want to know the sex?" She asked looking at Wren and Trunks.
"No" Wren said the exact same time Trunks said yes. They looked at each other.
Trunks rolled his eyes. "Come on, why can't we just ask?" Trunks asked crossing his arms.
"Because I want to be surprised." Wren said then looked back at the lady. "We don't want to know." She said as the Ultra sound Tec wiped off her belly then smiled and helped Wren up.
~THYME'S STORE~
Wren walked into the store sighing heavily. "I don't care, we aren't going to find out till we have them." She said then walked over to Thyme. "Hey Thyme." Wren said hugging her best friend.
"Hey, look whose getting huge." Thyme said smirking.
Wren chuckled. "You always know what to say." Wren said sarcastically. "So how are you and Jonny?" She asked then saw the annoyed look she got from Thyme.
"We're always fighting, and if we're not fighting then we're having sex." Thyme said rolling her eyes. "Granted the sex is awesome, as is the make-up sex, I just want us to not fight." She said crossing her arms and sitting down.
Wren laughed. "Sorry but you sound like a baby, me and Trunks fight all the time and we're engaged." Wren said holding her friends hand. "Love makes you go through some rough patches but if you know what you're doing and so does your partner you'll be fine." She said shrugging her shoulder. "Hey the house is going to be done next month and I want you to bring some music to the house warming." Wren said kissing Thyme on the cheek then left.
When Trunks and Wren got home they starting working on stuff they needed to finish. "Babe I need to get a job." Wren said as she walked into Trunks' study reading a book. "It says here that pregnant women should be active, and we both know I don't exercise so you should hire me as you assistant." She said smiling and sitting on Trunks' lap.
"I would love to have you there at my job, I get to have sex on my desk anytime I want, but I already have an assistant." Trunks said kissing Wren's neck.
Wren smirked. "Well you can make her Hennery's assistant he is a very important person in your work place and he doesn't even have an assistant." Wren said playing with Trunks' hair, Trunks gave Wren a look. "Did I tell you how much I love your hair?" Wren whispered seductively in Trunks' ear.
Trunks smirked at his fiancé and kissed her neck even more. "You start next week." Trunks said picking Wren up and walking to the bed room at a fast pace.
~NEXT WEEK~
Wren woke up and went straight to the coffee machine and turned it on. As Wren made her way to the bathroom Trunks was already in there bathing. "Babe hurry up!" Wren said sighing heavily. "You're going to use all the hot water." She said rolling her eyes.
"Why don't you come in here with me then?" Trunks said smugly. "There's more than enough room." He said hoping she would.
Wren rolled her eyes and got into the shower.
Once they were finished bathing Wren put on some jeans and a nice white blouse that hugged nice on her belly and putting her long hair into a messy bun. "Wren are you ready?" Trunks asked walking into the room wearing a black suit with a red shirt and a red tie. "Okay you are, let's go." He said grabbing Wren's hand and walking out of the room.
"Are we driving?" Wren asked grabbing her bag and jacket as they left.
"Yes, I usually walk but today I want to take the car out." Trunks said going to the garage.
~CAPSULE CORP. ~
Wren walked into Capsule Corp. with her iPad in her hand making a schedule as Trunks started talking. "And at 2:30 every day I have a conference call with Bra because she owns Oji Corp. and there married to us." Trunks said then allowed Wren in the elevator first. "Oh and you know how I like my coffee, so we're fine there." He said as the elevator got to their floor. "Okay your desk is here, you can put little pictures up and stuff like that, and the password to that computer is Trunks the great." He said looking at Wren trying to hold in a laugh.
"Okay then, Trunks the great." Wren said rolling her eyes. Wren hopped up to get Trunks' coffee. "Here you go and these we're on my desk in the give to Mr. Briefs pile." She said putting Trunks' coffee down and handing him the papers.
Trunks nodded and watched Wren walk away. "I'm a lucky man." Trunks said to himself.
A few hours went by and it was time for Wren's lunch break. "It's time for my lunch break." Wren told Trunks as she gave Trunks some more paper work.
"Where are you going, remember the doctor said you can't have certain foods?" Trunks said standing looking worried.
Wren smiled and went over to kiss Trunks on the cheek. "I'm going out with Bulma, Bra and Thyme, Bulma's showing me this nice place she ate at when she was pregnant." Wren said just as the elevator opened and Jonny walked out.
"Hey guys, Thyme dropped me off and she's waiting for you downstairs." Jonny said hugging Wren.
"Bye babe." Wren said waving bye.
Trunks sighed heavily watching his fiancé leave. "You're going to be a helicopter parent." Jonny said chuckling at the confused look Trunks gave him. "It means you're going to be over protective." He said sitting in the seat on the other side of Trunks' desk.
"No I'm not." Trunks said rolling his eyes. "It's just I found out that premature labor runs in her family." He said then took a book out of his desk showing Jonny it. "It's when the baby is born early and it could possibly die." He said putting his head in his hands.
Jonny read it a little and then looked at his long time best friends. "Listen, you and Wren are fighters, if this does happen and I don't believe it will your baby will be so strong and pull through." Jonny said rubbing Trunks' back.
"Thanks dude." Trunks said sighing and smiled at his friend then gave him a hug. "Sorry" Trunks said pulling himself away.
"Yeah that was kind of gay, I didn't know you felt that way about me." Jonny said chuckling. "I'm sorry dude I'm in love with Thyme." He said then dodged a punch from Trunks.
~LUNCH~
Wren walked into the restaurant with Thyme next to her. "This is nice." Wren said holding her belly.
"Why do you always do that?" Thyme asked looking at Wren's belly.
Wren looked down at her belly and noticed her holding it. "I guess it's an impulse and I'm also excited to hold it." Wren said then saw Bulma and Bra walking over to them. "Hey" Wren said hugging Bra and Bulma.
"You look beautiful." Bra said kissing Wren's cheek. "Thyme I haven't seen you in ages." She said kissing Thyme on the cheek also.
Bulma smiled and hugged Wren and Thyme. "Okay lets go sit down." Bulma said as she a waitress seated them. "Now Wren, they have a whole separate menu for pregnant women and it's beautiful, I wish they had this place when I was pregnant with Trunks." She said taking off her jacket.
"It all looks so good." Wren said seeing everyone with their face in their menu. "I think the babies will love the chicken Alfredo." She said then saw all their heads lift up looking at her. "Yes I'm having twins." Wren said smiling brightly.
"Well you're just getting good news around every corner, first you get engaged now you're having twins." Bra said smirking. "Next thing you know you'll be finding a hundred dollars on the ground." She said crossing her arms. "Damn that means I have to get you 2 of what I was going to get you." She said sighing and leaving to make a phone call.
"I hope it's not diapers because my mom already got me covered for about a month." Wren said rubbing her belly.
Bulma laughed. "So how's your health, your mother told me premature labor runs in the family." Bulma said looking concerned.
"Yeah but only by like a week or a month, me and Goten came out a month early but we were perfectly healthy." Wren said shaking her head. "But you know my mother always concerned." She said shrugging her shoulders.
As the waitress came everyone ordered. "So Wren when are you do?" Thyme asked drinking her water.
"May" Wren said smiling. "And I want my house warming to be my baby shower oh and Bra I want my wedding to be in August." She said as she drank what looked to be a mango smoothie.
As Wren got back to the office Trunks was still there doing work. "Babe did you go to lunch yet?" Wren asked walking over to him and looking at his tired eyes.
"No I wasn't hungry, I needed to finish these." Trunks said still working and not looking at Wren.
Wren pulled Trunks away from the computer and saved his work then sat on his lap. "Talk to me." Wren said smoothing through Trunks' hair.
Trunks looked into Wren's eyes then looked down at her belly and pulled up her shirt kissing her stomach. "Hey" Trunks said talking to the belly. "I know we haven't met yet but I love you both dearly." He said as a tear shed from his eye and dropped on Wren's belly. Watching Trunks cry over her belly made Wren's heart drop. Trunks kissed her stomach and where he kissed it a little hand stick out. Trunks laughed and looked up at Wren. "I think there saying hi." Trunks said wiping his face and smiling at Wren.
"Talk to me Trunks, please." Wren said putting her hand on top of Trunks' which was still on her belly. "Please as your fiancé, tell me your problems." She said kissing Trunks on the lips real quick.
Trunks lightly smiled. "I'm scared." Trunks said shedding some more tears. "I know about the premature labor, and I'm scared that we will lose them." He said laying his forehead on Wren's stomach and held onto her waist. "I'm supposed to be there father and let nothing happen to them but what type of parent would I be if something did happen to them?" Wren lifted Trunks' head up to look at her.
"Trunks, stop it." Wren said wiping his face. "You worrying about it will worry me and make me go into early labor." She said then regretted it. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to blame it on you, I know you scared and I want you to stop being scared you're breaking my heart." Wren said about to kiss Trunks again when he pulled away. "Listen Trunks, I didn't mean it I just need you to please stop worrying." She trying to get him to look in her face.
Trunks looked at Wren. "I need to get back to work." Trunks said coldly and he lifted Wren off of him and scooted back up to his desk.
Wren swallowed the pain she started to feel and walked over to her desk.
~A FEW DAYS LATER~
Wren and Trunks were still fighting, but not verbally, silently. Trunks would stay late at work and Wren would try to get him to open up by making extravegent dinners or doing little thing like trying to surprise him with sex. By the time the weekend came Wren was tired of the silent treatment.
Wren was sitting at her desk and Trunks just got back from lunch with Jonny and he walked right passed her. "This is it!" Wren said stomping into his office and slammed his door shut. "I'm tired of you pouting, I said some mean thing and I'm so sorry but you don't have to act like this." She said crossing her arms and scowled at Trunks. "Trunks I love you and I don't want…" Wren stopped mid-sentence and grabbed her belly.
"Wren are you okay?" Trunks asked running over to Wren.
Wren nodded. "There just kicking really hard." Wren said as she looked down at her pants and saw red bleeding out of her pants. "Trunks I'm bleeding." She said softly.
