~LAST TIME~
Wren was sitting at her desk and Trunks just got back from lunch with Jonny and he walked right passed her. "This is it!" Wren said stomping into his office and slammed his door shut. "I'm tired of you pouting, I said some mean thing and I'm so sorry but you don't have to act like this." She said crossing her arms and scowled at Trunks. "Trunks I love you and I don't want…" Wren stopped mid-sentence and grabbed her belly.
"Wren are you okay?" Trunks asked running over to Wren.
Wren nodded. "There just kicking really hard." Wren said as she looked down at her pants and saw red bleeding out of her pants. "Trunks I'm bleeding." She said softly.
~BACK TO THE STORY~
Trunks quickly lifted her up and ran to the elevator. "It's going to be okay." Trunks said pressing the lobby button. As they got down to the lobby Trunks told a man to call his family and have them call Wren's family and tell them that the babies are coming.
"Oh my God, Trunks it hurts." Wren said grabbing her stomach.
Trunks was holding Wren's hand. "Just breathe." Trunks said doing the breathing they learned at their little class.
Wren scowled at Trunks. "Fuck the breathing, I'm bleeding a lot." Wren said looking down at her lap. "I'm sorry about your car babe." She said then screamed. "I think the babies are coming." She said chuckling.
"You don't say." Trunks said smiling at Wren. "There too early." He said taking Wren's hand. "But there strong like us and there fighters." He said kissing her hand.
Once Wren and Trunks got to the hospital they were quickly put into a room. The doctor came in and gave them the news that Wren got an infection that made her start bleeding and to keep the babies alive her body made her go into early labor. Trunks heart stopped and he couldn't breathe. "Trunks" Wren said looking at Trunks' face. "Trunks, you can't freak on me I need…" Wren grabbed her stomach and screamed again which snapped Trunks out of his Trans.
Trunks held Wren's hand. "Can we give her the epidural?" Trunks asked looking at the doctor.
"We have to get her on the bed first." The doctor said helping Trunks lay Wren down. He lifted up Wren's hospital dress and started to feel inside of Wren to see how dilated she was. "She's about 5 centimeters, I'll call the nurse to get her the epidural." He said walking out looking for a nurse.
Wren started to cry. "It's okay, I'll be with you every step of the way." Trunks said kissing Wren. Trunks' phone started to ring and he just ignored it.
"Trunks that could be that client you were waiting to call." Wren said looking shocked. "You can take it." She said smiling.
Trunks picked up the phone. "Hey Jack, my wife is in labor I'll have to talk to you later." Trunks said and didn't even wait for the man to say bye. "You are the only important thing right now, and them." He said smiling.
An hour later Wren had already got the epidural and was being taken to the room she was going to give birth in. "Where is my husband?" Wren asked looking around for Trunks.
"He's getting his scrubs on so he can be in there with you." A male nurse said smiling at Wren.
Wren nodded and took a few breaths. 'I know we don't talk on a regular but I just want you took keep my babies safe please.' Wren closed her eyes as she prayed.
"Mrs. Briefs are you okay?" The male nurse asked looking at Wren.
Wren chuckled nervously then breathed sharply. "I thought the epidural was supposed to numb all this shit." Wren said looking at all the nurses.
"It does but you do feel a little pain." Another nurse said rubbing Wren's hand. "I'm sorry." She said then gave Wren a warm smile.
As they got to the room Trunks was already there waiting for Wren. "Are you okay babe?" Trunks asked taking Wren's hand. She smiled at Trunks and nodded
"Well the good thing you stopped bleeding, it was one of those that was supposed to be your time of the month thing." The doctor said. "Now I know you don't feel anything but we have to get those little ones out now." He said as the nurses were running around making sure everything was ready.
(I've never been in labor and I don't how to describe it so I'm going to skip that part.)
10 hours later Wren was sleeping and Trunks was pacing the room wondering where his babies where. 'Where are they, we should have been able to see them an hour ago.' Trunks thought then looked up seeing Chichi and Goku walk in. "Hey guys, they told me you were here, I just didn't want to leave Wren's side." Trunks said looking at Wren.
"That's okay, we understand." Chichi said hugging Trunks. "So where are the babies?" She asked then regretted it seeing Trunks' face.
Trunks shook his head then sat down. "I don't know, they took them and I've asked so many people where they are and they all said the same thing 'hold on a minute sir, we'll find them just relax' but I don't want to relax I want my kids." Trunks said breathing heavily then looked at Wren who started to wake up.
"Hey sweetie, how do you feel?" Goku asked kissing Wren's forehead.
Wren started crying. "It hurts." Wren said as Goku wiped her tears away.
Trunks walked over to Wren and held her. "I'm here." Trunks said kissing Wren's cheek multiple times.
Just then the doctor walked in. "I'm sorry." He said bowing his head. "We tried our best to save both but, I can't explain when happened." He said as only one incubator was welled in holding a black haired baby boy. "I'm so sorry." He said not even able to look at the family.
Wren put her hands to her mouth shaking her head in the process. "No" Wren said crying even harder. "I did everything, those damn books told me to do." She said yelling making the baby cry. Wren instantly stopped her fit once she heard her little boy wailing. "I'm sorry, mommy's here." She said getting up, with the help of Trunks, and went to go see her baby boy. He opened one of his big blue eyes and smiled. "Hi" She said wiping her face.
Trunks went over to the doctor. "It's okay as long as you did everything you could Dr…" Trunks didn't even know the man who delivered his kids name. "I'm sorry I never got your name." Trunks said feeling embarrassed.
"Dr. Eric Dende." He said shaking Trunks' hand.
Trunks gave him a small yet warm smile. "That you, you at least blessed us with one." Trunks said patting him on the back and walked over to his other Son. "What do you want to name our little miracle baby?" Trunks asked looking at the boy.
"We could name him after me." Goku said smiling.
"No" Everyone in the room said and laughed when Goku pouted.
Wren thought for a second. "Why don't we make a tradition and name him after you, Vegeta and my dad." Wren said smiling. "That way everyone is happy." She said looking at everyone.
"I like it, Goku Vegeta Trunks Briefs." Goku said smiling.
Trunks rolled his eyes. "Trunks Vegeta Goku Briefs." Trunks said smirking at Goku who just crossed his arms and sighed.
"I like that." Chichi said looking at her grandchild.
"Mrs. Briefs, I don't mean to disturb you but there are a lot of people down stairs asking to see you, may I send them up?" the lady asked.
Wren nodded. "Yeah" Wren said then looked back down at her baby.
~2 WEEKS LATER~
"Finally you're coming home." Trunks said putting the baby in the car and smiled hearing his son laugh. "You like that don't you TJ?" He said kissing his son's head. "You're going to love your room, a lot of space and a big crib." Trunks said buckling up the baby.
"Okay if you're done buttering him up can we leave?" Wren asked sliding in the back seat. "Come I want to see my new house." She said as she smiled at her Son. "So does TJ." Wren kissed her son's little head.
As they pulled up to the house Wren was astounded by the size and the beauty of it. Trunks took the baby out of the car and helped Wren out. "Come on, I know you want to see the inside." Trunks said smiling at his fiancé.
Wren walked into the house and was surprised seeing all her friends and family there welcoming her home. Bra and Thyme walked up to Wren and hugged her. "Welcome home." Bra said kissing Wren on the cheek. "It's a house worming/ welcome home/ baby shower." She said holding Wren's hand and walking further in the house.
"It's so beautiful." Wren said looking around. "I don't even know what to say." She said smiling and Bra.
Bra looked confused. "I didn't design it that was all Thyme." Bra said pointing to Thyme.
"We're best friends, I should know what you like and what you don't like." Thyme said shrugging her shoulders. "Oh and I left the painting of TJ's room to you and Trunks, I thought you would want to do that cliché."
Wren got a little teary eyed and hugged Thyme. "I love you." Wren said hugging Thyme tighter.
Thyme held back a few tears. "It's the least I can do." Thyme said smiling.
~FEW HOURS LATER~
Wren was putting the baby to sleep when Trunks walked in. "Hey" Trunks said looking at Wren lean over and put the baby in the crib.
"Hey" Wren said looking at her little son. "You think we're going to be okay?" Wren asked looking at Trunks now.
Trunks walked over to the crib and looked down at the sleeping baby, Trunks slid his hand over TJ's head and smiled. "I think we'll be fine." Trunks said as Wren put her arms around his torso and hugged Trunks tightly.
