Watchtower
3rd pov
It was late, though a certain Bat was wide awake; Batman was currently in the Watchtower waiting for the Flash to arrive upon a request Batman had made a half an hour earlier. True Batman would have rathered spend the time with Robin at the moment; but this had to be done, Clark had finally badgered Bruce enough to get the man to tell the shocking news to Barry. Eventually the zetabeams sounded off telling the Batman, Flash had arrived. Standing tall, Batman waited for the fastest man alive to walk into the meeting room.
In a strike of red, Flash appeared, laid-back as ever. "Hey Bats, what's up?" He chirped happily. Batman did not move to interact with Flash; Batman wasn't sure he could. Still Batman waved for Flash to sit down. Flash lifted an eyebrow at this, but didn't question the Bat's reasoning. Batman tried as hard as he could to come up with the right words, none came to him. This wasn't right, Barry was one of his closest friends; and since Whisper was Barry's daughter and seemed to be in danger & alone it was only right to tell him as Bruce.
Pulling back his cowl, he took a seat across from Barry. Seeing Bruce doing so, Barry pulled back his own cowl, "Bruce, what's going on?" Sighing Bruce took out a thin file and handed it to Barry. "Barry we need to talk" Barry did not answer Bruce, as he was too busy looking over the papers he was handed.
'Name: Unknown
Alias: Whisper
Age: Thirteen years old
Birth date: April 22nd.
Father: Barry Allen
Mother: Mary West'
The file had many more details written about Whisper, mostly stastics about training, yet Barry found himself reading over that first part over and over again. Whisper was his daughter. Whisper was his daughter. Whisper was his daughter. Not just that either, Whisper was Wally's little DID HE SLEEP WITH MARY!? Iris was so gonna kill him! Putting the papers back into the file, Barry looked back up to Bruce. "Is... is this true?" He asked, his voice surpisingly calm. Bruce observed Barry's actions carefully, searching for any sign of anger; not finding any he confirmed Barry's inquiry. "Yes, I've run the sample may times over and I'm certain she's your daughter."
Silence reigned for quite a few moments, but finally Barry spoke another question. "When did you find this out Bruce?" "Right before the team was formed." Barry choked in a breath, he had known for this long? Bruce had known for this long and hadn't told him he was a father? Barry had a right to know he was a father!
Barry almost got up and hit Bruce square in the jaw, he didn't. He just couldn't understand, he was a dad. Whisper was his kid, yet he was already a failure of a father. Oh god, he had criticized Superman for not taking in Superboy! Did that make him a hypocrite? Barry felt horrible, he had missed his daughter's life. It's just... wow. Whisper probably had no idea about this either, what should he do? Feeling a hand on his shoulder, Barry must of jumped a mile. "Barry, you need to calm down. It'll be alright." Somehow Barry believed what Bruce said. This was only another bumb in the road and he would get through, he would give Whisper a father she deserved.
Whisper, she was only a kid. A little girl really, she was so small. The more he thought about, it made sense. When Whisper relaxed she was laid-back, cheerful, always joking. She was like a younger Barry, only not as talkative... In seconds Barry decided something, he was going to be a great father and no one would stop him.

Salem, Massachusetts
Tower of Fate
Whisper's pov
Earlier today I remembered that most the team would be visiting the Tower of Fate, so what did I do? I left Gotham around ten and spent the day in Salem stuffing my face with food whilst visiting the local 'mystics'. I've been told that I would join Nasa once, marry the love of my life three times, that my mother is contacting from beyond the grave eight times, and with each new 'mother' reaching out for me I recieved a new pet name. One guy had the audacity of accusing me of being Oliver Queen's secret love child. Some of the guy's regulars tried contacting Queen himself to tell him about me. Actually they almost succeeded, I ended up running from a crowd of people.
Thankfully I didn't see Abra Kadabra, Klarion, or the witchkid's cat, Teekl. I mean I might have been able to run away from them, but Klarion was from another dimension and a Lord of Chaos; if he caught me there's no telling what the brat would do. At present I'm speeding towards the location of the Tower of Fate, which basicly means I'm praying that this isn't a reinaction of Road Runner. The plan was to vibrate my molecules while I ran through the tower door. If I got this far I'd be golden.
Half way down the street I put everything I had into it and compelled myself to go faster. Closing my eyes I began vibrating, I didn't stop, I waited for the feeling of going through a wall. Doubt almost consumed me, but to my shock it worked, I felt myself tumble clear past the door. Opening my eyes, I found myself in a stone brick room. "Wow..." I mumbled. The ceiling was extremely high up, and candles and torches lit up the room in a unimaginable way. My admiration for the room was cut short as a projection of Kent Nelson appeared infront of me.
"Greetings, you have entered the Tower without the key. What is your business here?" Kent asked, strange yes but I've seen stranger. Without hesitation I answered the projection, not lying in the slightest. "I'm only here to make sure nothing goes wrong in a few hours, I know of a fight that's about to happen and I wanna make sure my friends don't get hurt." The room began to glow gold and the projection of Kent Nelson went away. Soon I found that a warm wind started to whirl around me, lifting me into the air. A flash white stole me from the room I was in and I saw now I was on the top floor of the Tower. Smiling at my luck I walked to the corner of the floor, sliding down to the ground.
There was nothing for me to do, so I tidied up my outfit and put on my utility belt and red bandana. I wore no hoodie, but instead a long sleeved shirt under my short sleeved one, the top one being black with the words 'I only date superheroes' in white. I had gotten around to getting myself a new pair of knee high converse too, these ones being totally black unlike my last pair (which had white laces and other white accents). I'm thinking about taking a silver sharpie to them, just to give them a personal touch. Actually that's not such a good idea... I wouldn't be able to wear them everywhere anymore if I did that... Ughhh... So much thinking.
'Hello.' What was that? I searched every where around for the owner of the voice, yet I couldn't find anyone. Wait... isn't the Helmet of Fate up here? 'Indeed, it is.' My eyes widened, Doctor Fate is that you? 'Yes, it is me. Afterall it was I, who allowed you to enter the building. You're Valkrye's apprentice am I correct?' Uhhh... Yeeeeessss? ...You know Valkrye!? A deep laugh echoed in my head, until Doctor Fate continued. 'I do, that annoying man and I go back to when he was a child. It was my idea for him to become a hero; the moron was going to sneak into a military base and try hijacking a plane so he could fight in world war II.' That sounds like something he'd do. Can you tell how the idiot got trapped in a pocket watch? ' I sealed him in there so he could be a hero after his death.' Wow... Just wow.
Uncle Nabu's and I's conversation genuinely accelerated to the point, where he insisted I call him Uncle Nabu. Turns out Valkrye is able to have good friends...other than Ivy that is. Our chat was cut off when the action started, Uncle Nabu's voice disappearing from my head. I knoticed a bright light shining in the center of level, materializing was Kent Nelson and Wally. A grin stretched onto my face, Wally was here! reached for the helmet, Wally standing right behind him, when Klarion shot with a red beam.
fell back, Wally helping him stand. Kent reacted quickly by chanting a spell, casting a shield around him, Wally and the helmet. I couldn't hear what they were saying inside the shield, but I could hear Klarion screaming out a long dragged out, 'no'. The Lord of Chaos can certainly throw a tantrum. Kent collapsed to the ground; but I sat staring at Klarion as he still yelled out complaints about everything and as he started to hurl balls of bright red fire at the shield. Wally seemed to panic, looking from the helmet to Kent. He seemed to flinch at words I couldn't hear, even if I knew what was about to happen I couldn't help to feel the fear of Wally might be stuck in the helmet forever.
I watched as Klarion used magic to form giant hands made out of energy, and I bit my lip as he tried ripping apart the shield protecting Wally. My breath caught in my throat as Wally grabbed the helmet. I found it even harder to breathe as Klarion ripped apart the shield. Not a single sound reached my ears. My vision blacked out completely for a moment. I wasn't sure I could trust myself to stand. When I was able to see once again, Wally was no longer there. In his place was Uncle Nabu and he was battling Klarion. Their battle was grand, almost something straight out of a movie.
It was right towards the end when I could finally hear what was happening, Teekl had been hit by one Uncle Nabu's shots and was resting in Klarion's arms. I stood up waiting for him to leave, I must've missed the last thing Klarion had said, because as soon as I did get up Klarion smirked in my direction. Klarion lifted one arm and before I knew it something hit me, knocking me out. "WHISPER!"
3rd pov
After Klarion left, Doctor Fate zoomed over to Whisper, who was on the ground out cold. Wally had screamed out for Whisper when she was hit. He ignored the fact he hadn't used his physical voice in days. He was filled with worry, Wally didn't even know she was here! Doctor Fate sighed, as did Kent. It was clear, Whisper was ok. Kent faced Wally speaking sedative like words, "Calm down son, she's alright. Though you should keep better track of your sister." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN CALM DOWN!? WHISPER WAS JUST SHOT BY MAGICAL FIRE!" Wally yelled, then he just stopped. Looking over his shoulder, Wally said what caught his attention. "Did you say sister?" Kent raised an eyebrow. "You didn't know? Whisper's your sister, or half-sister but still sister none the less." Wally froze. WHISPER. WAS. HIS. SISTER. Dear god, how? Why must people always stir things up? Damn all these magic people!
At the same time Wally freaked out, Nabu conversed with Kent. "So, Nabu. How come you haven't taken off the helmet?" " I do not find it necessary at the moment." Nabu's voice rang. Kent let out a hum, crossing his arms. Nabu usually loathed not being in control.
"You know you can't keep here right Nabu, his soul belongs to science."
"It may now, but he was a twin and a remarkable potion maker at one point. I did not plan to keep him here anyhow."
"Is that so?"
"Yes... The world needs my help restoring order... but I won't keep him here. My niece does not need to feel the pain of losing anyone else." Kent chuckled at this, he was familiar with Valkrye. Niall was an impatient lad growing up, he and Kent were neighbors long ago in fact. He was fifteen years old when he first babysitted the two year old winged boy and he never failed to annoy Kent. To Kent's misfortune Nabu relished Niall as a friend, which meant he saw Niall a lot. It wasn't a fluke that Nabu met Valkrye's trainee, it was going to happen. Bless the girl's soul... who knows what torture Valkrye would put her in.
...
In the end, Nabu had released Wally. No begging required, with the unspoken promise of Wally finding a host for Doctor Fate, Nabu removed the helmet. Whisper, or Niki was a likable person and Nabu found she had suffered enough. People like her were the reason he came to earth. He was glad Valkrye had met her, he was joyous she had become a hero, and he was animated about the fact she had someone like Wally for a brother. For as of now, Nabu would keep company with Kent... It would be quite fun to watch Valkrye mess with her brother as well.
...
With the Helmet of Fate off, Wally yelled out for his sister. "Whisper!" His voice trembled and crackled, he didn't care. He was busy wrapping his arms around his sister, holding her tight. "Whisper. Come on, Whisper. Whisper you gotta get up." Fidgeting Wally dared to hug his sister closer. 'This,' Wally thought to himself. 'is all on me.' His little sister was hurt. Sure he didn't know she was here, but he should have. And in this instant Whisper was hurt... What should he do? "Ughhh... Dude, Wally? Was I run over by the batmobile?" Wally opened his eyes to see Whisper rubbing her head, a tacky smile attacking Wally's face. "Nice seeing you up."
Whisper Pov
What the hell? Is that Wally calling me? My eyes flickering open, I was blinded by light. Sending a dull ache waving in my forehead. What happened? Blinking my eyes repeatedly until I was awake, I muttered the first words that came to mind. "Ughhh... Dude, Wally? Was I run over by the batmobile?" I pressed my hand to temple. Seriously ouch. " Nice seeing you up." Wally sang, happiness practically dripping on each word.
