GG:This is more of a transfer chapter so I can move into the next chapter, but it's a chapter none the less.

WHISPER POV

Wally and I just sat there bored out of our minds staring at the television. After the magic show last night I crashed at his house. Meaning I was able to change into different clothes and grab another bandana of mine. My shirt had the flash emblem on it and I had written 'Bet you $5 I can win a race against the flash' in sharpie on the back. That got a laugh out of Wally and I ended up writting something like that on a batman shirt that Robin gave to him. Still though Wally and I continued sitting there until Barry walked in and turned the tv off.

Instantly we both sat up at attention wondering what the hell was going on. Well I guess I'll find out.

3rd pov

At the moment Barry had decided to go back over everything he had done with Whisper since he met her. His interaction with her had been little at best, and there was so much he forgot to tell her! Like the speed force and a few basic tips of running, he might have told her about the precausion of putting too much speed behind a punch...but dear god he had a lot to do in the near future. Hell he didn't even know her real name!

Sighing Barry walked into the living room and turned off the television. Clearing his throat he prepared to give his weekly lesson on super speed to Wally, well really he was doing this now to make sure the lesson got through to Whisper. "Ok, Wally, Whisper, it's time to review some speedster facts!" Barry smiled and held up his hands dramaticly. He would be a good father in the end.

Whisper Pov

You know I kinda expected this to end up like jeparody when Barry said that. But no, we ended up sitting at the kitchen table while Barry told us stories about his past adventures. Not that, that wasn't fun. 'Cuse it was. It's just every person with superspeed I have met are very over-the-top. Anyway I sat between Barry and Wally as things began.

Barry clapped his hands together and started to speak, "First I'd like to ask something." Barry turned to Whisper, "Have you heard about the speed force?" Yes, yes I have but if I told you that; you would get very suspicious. "The one from Star Wars?"

Wally snickered at my reply, while as Barry just smiled. "Nope. Completely different, just as cool." He said. That's how we dove into the story of how Barry got his superspeed; then Wally decided why not retell how he gained his own speed. And that kid's is how I sat in a chair for a half hour, dying of boredom.

Sitting there I watched as they finally looked in my direction. Waiting for my reaction. Licking my lips, I sat up and glanced between the two of them. "So you two played with chemicals and got zapped with lightening?" Barry and Wally looked at each then back to me and then once again to each other. Until Wally broke the cycle and spoke. "How did you summarizes what took an hour to tell you in one sentence?" Smiling I held my hand up in a peace sign and giggled out, " I is smartical."

I laughed at him as he rolled his eyes, Barry only watched this time around. "Ahem, now I'd like to tell you both some key factors of the speed force. As you get older the speed you're able to run at will be likely to increase." He paused, I could see as Wally's expression get darker. " However this might be dangerous as well, the force that gives us our speed is dubbed by title of 'Speed Force'. I myself have been inside the speed force before. All because of a mad man that almost ruined the time stream." Barry peered above him for a second.

"But don't go thinking the speed force is a bad thing either! The speed force gives us the abilities we use to save people!" Weakly both Wally and I grinned. Barry was right about that. Soon the atmosphere lightened up and both Wally and I were about to treat ourselves to some videogame time, when Barry added in one last thing.

"I know you two don't want to, but it might be for the best if you asked Black Canary for vocal control lessons."

Silence. Wally and I welcomed it back as Barry left alone to ponder his last thoughts. Would it be so bad to atleast try the lessons? I mean... I never want to exprence such a thing again.

3rd Pov

Wally studied Whisper as she sat deeply in thought. He knew they needed the lessons from Black Canary, but he truly did not want to admit it. Yet he knew he was compelled to take the offer; just because he knew Whisper would accept as well, if he did so. Rubbing his neck Wally, craned his head in the direction of the door. Sighing Wally broke down and looked to Whisper.

"Look... I know we both don't really want to accept their help, but we need it. I didn't wanna say anything but... I'll race you there?" Smirking Whisper nodded and off they both went.

Just as Barry jogged back into the room to invite Whisper to Jay's birthday after he forgot to do it earlier.
