Red-Butterfly4Cat: Wow. I am so sorry. I now live with my aunt and uncle, and am still looking for a job. Anyway, Tesni, yet again gave me a Welsh-induced headache.
Tesni: You know you love me.
Cat: True, true. Now, who wants to do the disclaimer?
The Elf guy: I'll do it as long as I'm revealed in this chapter.
Cat: Ok, you will be, but not straight away.
Elf: Deal. Red-Butterfly4Cat only owns Tesni, Finn, Aderyn, Eoghan and myself. A special friend helped her make the idea of me.
Cat: Yep. And the special friend knows exactly who they are. So, let's get Welsh XD
(Normal POV)
After Tesni got home from the park, she went to bed after having some food, as she had work in the morning. She had a clear, peaceful and dreamless sleep, which lasted until her alarm rang out at 6:30am. She set it to that time as she had to get ready for work to be there at 9am. She tried to get there between half 8 and quarter to 9, preferring to be early than late.
As her alarm rang, she opened her eyes and sat up in bed. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and noticed that she felt unusually refreshed. She stretched like a cat, before sliding her legs out of the fluffy quilt. Shivering slightly as her feet touched the cold floor of her bedroom, she looked around. A sigh passed her light pink lips and she shrugged. Moving slowly, she went to the bathroom, managing to get in there before Finn woke at 7am.
She had a quick, refreshing shower, using Neutrogena face wash/mask in one, then cleaning her teeth and washing her hair. She had shampoo for curly hair, which she had. It tamed her hair, or it would turn into a large, frizzy mess.
After her shower, she got dressed in a simple top and jeans and dried and brushed her hair. She put it in a messy bun and went down for breakfast. Finn came down a while afterwards and looked a bit moody, but Tesni shrugged it off.
Finn looked at her and started speaking.
"You were dancing in the park, weren't you?"
She nodded.
"Yeah, you got a problem with that?"
He gave her a look.
"It gets dangerous at night."
"I'm not a baby, Finn!"
She argued. He shook his head.
"That's not the point. There are...things...out there."
Tesni finished her breakfast and got her coat and bag ready.
"There can be a lot of things 'out there' but you know I'm careful."
Finn looked at her as a worried big brother usually would.
"Yeah. Here, I got this for you."
He held out a necklace with a Charoite gem in. She looked at it and put it on.
"Thanks, it's pretty."
She smiled at her brother, though he sometimes annoyed the heck outta her. He chuckled and ruffled the messy bun of her hair a little.
"You're welcome sis, and you're pretty too."
She snorted.
"I'm your sister, you're biased."
He laughed loudly.
"True, true."
She waved to him as she left the house for work, smiling when he waved back. Walking along the street that led to the café, she had a sort of spring in her step as it was the day she adored, a Thursday. Each Thursday she went to the bookstore owned by Mr. Maddox. She never missed a chance to see her crush. She got to the café 15 minutes early, which was normal for her.
(Tesni's POV)
As I walked into the café, Rhianu, the owner, smiled at me.
"You look happy, Tez."
I giggled and nodded. I could always talk to her about anything. Rhianu Powell was 36, stood at 5'8" with shoulder length brown hair with a pink streak in the left side, and kind blue eyes.
"I had a good dance in the park yesterday afternoon."
I told her. She laughed.
"The Egyptian one?"
She asked suspiciously. She absolutely adored that dance.
"Yup. The very same."
I teased, wiggling my hips in the way I was taught.
She narrowed her eyes at me, playfully. Then giggled and passed me my apron. I tied it around my waist and secured my hair before the first customers came in. Surprisingly, Mr. Maddox came in and ordered my special blend. I looked at Rhianu and she nodded, which told me I still had quite a large amount of it left. I always made a large batch of it, just in case Mr. Maddox wanted some.
I got him a takeaway cup with the warm liquid inside, as I knew he was working too.
"Morning Mr. Maddox."
I greeted with my best smile. His eyes practically twinkled at me as he smiled.
"Hello Tesni."
He said, in his English accent. So charming and sophisticated. I gave him his tea and he insisted on giving the right money for it. Rhianu was on the till and she smirked at me as I took the coins over to her.
"He's determined to pay you, Tez. You can't keep giving him free stuff."
She whispered. I looked over at him and smiled.
"I know, but I can't help it."
She waggled her brows at me, conspiratorially.
"You like him, it's natural."
I groaned. She could be loud when she wanted to, and that had come out loud enough for him to hear. I had to think fast.
"Of course I do. He's a great guy."
I said, ambiguously.
The bell on the door jingled as a new customer came in. I looked at him and did a double take. It was the elf guy from my dream! He looked straight at me and smirked knowingly. He had his long white hair in a high ponytail, as before, but it looked shorter, reaching his mid-back instead of his knees.
He walked over to the counter, where I was standing, and I looked over his shoulder. Mr. Maddox looked murderous at the sight of him. The guy looked at me with light green contacts in his eyes.
"Hello again, miss. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself when we met. My name is Howell."
He bowed a little. I blinked and Rhianu nudged me.
"I-I'm Tesni."
He smiled as he heard my name. Ordering a herbal tea, he went and sat on a table in the far corner, on the opposite side of the café as Mr. Maddox, who he looked at with a smirk.
Cat: So, the elf guy's name is Howell. Wonder what his agenda is.
Howell: All may be revealed next chapter.
Cat: Uh-huh.
Mr. Maddox: And my identity (though kind of obvious) might come out too.
Tesni: Mr. Maddox~ 3
Cat: Tesni, down girl.
Tesni: *pouts*
Mr. Maddox: *chuckles*
Revies please~
