"What!? It's been almost four months, North! We have to go out and find her!" Jack yelled.

It had been, as Jack said, four months since Evangeline disappeared and he didn't want to admit it but he was worried. So he had to mention it in this month's meeting, in the Conference Room.

"Jack ve can't go out and find her. Vell I can't but mayve you can ask Bunny, he isn't busy till early March."

Jack looked at Bunny expectantly at Bunny. "Oh don't look at me, mate! She said to not follow her! I'm pretty sure she is just mingling with other spirits."

Jack let out an exasperated sigh, "we don't know that! Besides she said she would be back in August! It's freaking December! She could be in trouble!"

"Jack, she has taken care of herself since she became immortal, I'm sure she is just working." Tooth suggested as she laid a hand on Jack's shoulder.

Jack pulled away, "maybe! But it might not be like she is gonna pop out of no where and be all like 'hey how are you guys' after about-"

He was interrupted by quick loud knocks on the boarded up window. He took of to it and slowly peered outside, what meet him set him freezing a hot spring.

Evangeline was looking awful. She had her arms crossed, had ripped clothing, and some frost in her hair on her face, and other features.

She looked at him as she put a sheepish look on her face, "hey... may I come in?"

"After four months you say, 'hey?' Where the heck have you been?! Do you know how worried we were? I thought-"

"Yeah yeah, nice to see you too may I enter? I seriously-"

"My love! Lets go to New Years' party this year!" A short chubby man with blue hair and clothes asked as other spirits tackled him.

"You mean my love! And its going to be me and her who are going together!" Corrected another short chubby man with green hair and clothes.

"Please let me in!" Pleaded Evangeline but slipped in before Jack could respond. "Thank you! Sheesh can't you see I'm being chased by dwarves?" She stood up and shoved frost off then noticed the others, "oh hey."

"I'm still mad at you." Jack said.

"Yeah, about that... sorry. After July was over I went to visit a few friends, then I had to get catch up with work, then I had to do some errands, and when I finished with all that I was on my way here but I got mobbed a few times. So I was trying to loose them which took a run at least 50 times around the world and then-" she took in a long breath. "Long story short I was busy the last four months."

"Ve can see that."

Jack was still thinking other wise, "yeah, but still no communication! You cou-"

"Okay calm down! Sheesh, since when did you get all motherhen over me, Nosenipper?"

Bunny burst into chuckles as Jack frosted over. "Oh why didn't Ah think of that one!? It's gold!"

"Yeah now that you know only I can call him by that." Evangeline clarified as she looked at Jack with a smirk.

Bunny who was trying to recover managed to say, "yeah, alright."

"North, may I go to my room? I need to freshen up."

"Oh course! After all is your room. Now, I need to get to workshop. If any one need me, I vill be there." North announced as he left the room of Guardians.

"Well I will see you guys in a bit." Evangeline was about to pass through the doors when she turned around and growled?

The others all looked incredulous and confused at her as she even snarled.

Bunny was the first out of his stupor and was a bit annoyed, "oh you did not just growl at me, sheila!"

Evangeline shook her head, "it's not at you." She walked around the room still snarling and growling as she seemed to search for some thing.

"Then who are you snarling at?" Tooth asked.

She continued on her trek then stopped in front of a dark corner. The Guardians felt the light atmosphere of the room some how get heavy, it was an odd sensation to them but an uncomfortable one to Evangeline.

"Him." She replied as her snarling and growling got louder.

The others looked at the corner confused, when a lithe figure appeared from the dark.

"Good evening."

Evangeline held back her growl and kept her snarl to herself as she said through gritted teeth, "Pitch, how lovely to see you."

"Oh the pleasure is all mine." He smiled with evil mischief.

"What do you want?" Tooth asked.

He sighed, "I want a lot of things, but if your asking for Christmas then its simple. I want the downfall of the Guardians."

"Good luck getting that" Jack rolled his eyes.

"Thank you. But I didn't come her to talk about myself."

Sandy flashed images. "Then why did you come?"

"Oh simple... to execute my plan on destroying all of you."

"No surprise." The spirit of courage said through gritted teeth, as she glared at the dark spirit who started walking next to the shadows.

"I see you some how survived." Pitch said as he looked annoyed at her.

"You can't kill courage."

"But you can destroy it" he threw a ball of black sand.

"Pfft, I'd like to see you try!" She raised her hand and the ball froze in front of her.

"Surprising you still have some strength."

"Under estimating me? How dare you?" The black ball became a ball of green light as she threw it at the first creator, who dodged.

"I always have. Now I have to take my leave, but I will be back." He disappeared into the shadows with a smirk.

Evangeline growled and then rubbed her eyes. She turned around, "sorry guys. I lost it for a minute there."

"Ehh it happens. Though I'm glad he is gone." Bunny commented.

"I have a feeling something is wrong," Jack mused as he rubbed his chin.

"Yeah me too" Evangeline said as both Tooth and Sandy nodded.

"No way he-"

Before he could finish the power went off and the only light source in the room was Sandy's glowing sand and the red emergency lights.

"I hate him."
