Oh My God! I'm so, so, SO sorry guys! I was having a massive writer's block and life got very busy, with all the tests and stuff. And when I finally got rid of that, I got sick! And then I got sick again! I was like…doubled sick! Anyway, when all that ended, I didn't even remember I had written a story. I only remembered it when I got a new follower (thanks!) and I was like "follower of what?" Anyway, I'm going to release you from my life problems. On with the story!
I was walking down the road when I saw a car pull up next to me. As I looked in the car, I realized it was Anne, my mom, and by the look on her face she was angry about something.
"Hey, mom. What's up?" I said, smiling at her.
"Don't 'what's up me'! Get in the car! And wipe that smile out of your face!"
"Geez, Anne, I was just being polite, you don't need to go all gorilla on me." I exclaimed, chuckling a bit.
My mom sighed, and at that moment I realized the wild and stressed look that was all over her face as she said softly "Honey, just get in the car, please."
"Okay…" I sat in the front seat and Anne analyzed me before shaking her head in disbelief.
"You went to school like that?" She demanded to know.
I smiled. "No, Anne, I'm a clone of your daughter, and in this moment she's sitting in front of the TV watching The Avengers with a bowl of chocolate ice-cream!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"Stop joking around! I'm serious, that's not appropriated for your age!"
"Mom, please! What's wrong with wearing skinny jeans and a tank top?! Everybody wears that! Not to mention it's really hot out there." I said looking out the window.
"Ok, Hun. Whatever you say…" She said, parking the car in the garage. "Now, back to being serious."
"What?" I said, unbuckling my seatbelt. "Is Jay coming home?" My eyes lit up like a child in Christmas and I started jumping around.
"No." She said with a little laugh, but then stopped. "I received a letter from your school…"
"Oh…" I exclaimed, sitting and preparing myself for another lecture. "What about it?"
"Well, she said sitting in front of me and unfolding a paper. "Dear Mrs. Blake, we wanted to inform you about your daughter's behavior and to discuss some ways for her to improve her grades on some subjects she is failing. For this, we wanted to invite you and your daughter for a talk with the school's principal," She paused, shooting me a look. "We are waiting for your visit, The School Administration."
"Look mom, I can expl-"
"How are you going to explain this?!" She waved the letter in front of my face" You cannot have a good explanation or a reason for me to receive a letter to talk to the Principal!" She was furious and I was really getting freaked out, I've never seen my mom this way.
"Mom, calm down! Tomorrow, we'll talk to him, ok? But can you stop screaming? You're giving me a headache!"
She just looked at me with what seemed like a mixture of disbelief and anger.
"I taught you better than that! You don't have the right to scream at me or to disobey my orders! I'm your mother, you can't talk to me like that, I'm not one of your buddies!"
And then she did one thing I never thought my mom would do.
She slapped me.
Ok, a little bit of drama in this chapter, but it's necessary for the story to make sense. Now, what do you think Sophia did for her mother to receive a letter from the school's administration? And why do you think Sophia got slapped by her own mother? Ouch! Tun Tun Tun…!
I will try to update more often. Again, I'm sorry I haven't updated! Don't forget to review, it makes my day and it remembers me to update!
