Finally leaving the school the next morning, you looked outside to see if Sollux would be out waiting for you even after yesterday's event. You sighed, closing the door behind you as you began your daily journey to school. As you soon past Sollux's house, you heard his door open. You turned around seeing him closing his door and turning around to face you. His eyes looked at you, before giving you a frown diverting his eye contact to the house in front of him. You frowned in returned sighing, putting in your headphones. Your journey continued.
When you finally ended up at the school, Sollux came in right behind you. You continued to your first-period class. There was nothing you could do now... The days went by, you bumped into him but just ignored him. No apology from him, not that you expected one.
Thursday came around, you did the same routine like how you had always done that week. You always left your house without Sollux walking with you to school. First-period came around then second-period. You had approached Karkat with a certain question. "Hey, Karkles!" You giggled using the nickname Terezi Pyrope would always use. "What do you want, (f/n)?" He looked up at you with a sigh. "You seem awfully cheery this morning." You smiled at him. "Can I ask you something?"
You looked behind to see if the teacher had come in yet. "Even if I say no, you're still going to ask me anyway." You giggled again. "Yes, yes I will. So are you going to Sollux's party tomorrow night?" He thought for a moment, forgetting all about it. "I'm not sure yet... Are you?" You nodded. "Will you be my date to Sollux's Party?" Karkat looked stunned for a moment, blushing a little. "Did you just...?"
You smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow at my house!" You skipped over to your seat, knowing he said yes without him even saying it.
Today was Friday, the day of the party. Everyone seems to be going because everyone kept talking about how great it's going to be. "Hey, did you hear Sollux and Aradia will be going with each other tonight?" Someone said behind to someone right next to them. They gasped. "I was told that they are dating." Another person joined in. "Oh, I hope they are dating!" Then in came another person. "They would make a cute couple." The first person who had started the conversation said, "Well, Aradia is one of the prettiest girls in the school, plus she's top of her class. I can see why Sollux would want to date her." They kept talking about it, but the conversation slowly diverted to them talking about the party that was taking place that evening. You breathed in intensely as you quickly put on your headphones to drown them out.
After school, you were on your way home when you saw Karkat coming up to you. "Hey, so what time do I need to be over?" You mentally calculated. The Party starts at 7... "Be there by 6. My mom is going to want photos." He nodded and left to go home.
When you arrived home, your mother had made a special (f/c) dress. She smiled at her work. "How is it, dear?" She asked you. You smiled big. "I love this dress, Mom! I love it!" You hugged her, taking the dress upstairs. You showered, curled your hair and did your makeup to compliment the dress. Before you knew it, it was 6 already. You were having a lot of fun. Karkat had come in wearing a basic tux with a tie that matched your dress. You took many pictures of your and Karkat and posted it on Instagram. That pissed off Sollux but you didn't know that. Or not yet.
"Karkat hooked your arm with his. "Excited?" He could see you were about to bounce off the walls. You nod with a bright smile "(F/n), thanks for asking me to go with you to the party. I think we should hang out more often. And your mother sure knows how to make a dress." He winked at you, smiling.
You gave a small innocent smile back blushing a little... Maybe it won't be bad. Just maybe...
You saw everyone greeting Sollux and Aradia. Aradia had a dark red, a burgundy, colored strapless dress that went up to the knees. Her hair was also curled. She had matching burgundy 4-inch heels. Sollux, he was wearing a black tuxedo, with a yellow tie. Yellow was his favorite color. To your surprise, he was wearing one white and black shoe you had gotten him last year for his birthday. Sollux was walking your way.
"You're with this douche bag?" Sollux snickered. You smiled big and nodded. "We are going to have loads of fun!"
"Still didn't think you would come tonight. I didn't think you had the guts to come." He said glaring at Karkat. Aradia giggled.
You could tell Karkat was getting aggravated. "It's too bad Sollux chose a better crowd to hang out with." Aradia giggled again. You could also tell Sollux was feeling guilty like he made a terrible mistake.
