Beep. Beep. Beep. You moan regaining conscious. Where am I? You opened your eyes shooting up from your laying down position and looked around. "(F/n)! You're awake!" said some strange voice with a lisp. Who was he? You searched the room then looking at your arm seeing an IV for fluids. I'm at the hospital.You moved your legs to the side of the hospital bed, using the side rails of the bed to help you stand up. You instantly fell. The strange boy with the lisp came to your side helping you get up. "(F/n), You shouldn't be standing up..." The boy said softly. You nodded confused. "Thanks..."
The boy helped you to get back in bed, where he hugged you. "You worried me so much!"
"I'm sorry but who are you?" You replied still confused not returning his hug. Why is a stranger hugging me?... How could a stranger be worried about me?...
"It's me Sollux!" he said. "The one who lives next door to you. Your Best Friend. The one who..." The boy who called himself stopped talking.
You raised an eyebrow. "Liar..." You were in a hospital gown. Why were am I here? I am just fine. A nurse knocked on the door. You called out. "Come in..." "Nurse, (f/n) doesn't know who I am." The nurse ran out of the room, quickly shutting the door behind her. "So you seriously don't know who I am?" Sollux chuckled as if he thought this was some sort of joke. "Nope!" You replied, keeping a straight face. Sollux sighed, walking towards the window that was to your right. A couple minutes later, there was another knock on the door. "Come in!" You said again like before.
"Hello (f/n). I am Dr. Vantas. You were knocked out so that's why you are here." Okay, so this Sollux person wasn't lying about my name. So my named is (F/N). That's all I know right now. "So you seem to have short term amnesia, which is not very common, but we won't worry about that right now." He started asking me other question on how you felt, if you had any pain anywhere, if you remembered what happened before ending up there and etc. Finally, another knock came from the door. The doctor went to the door, where a nurse and another woman appeared. "Doctor, this is (F/N)'s mother." The moment the nurse said that you closed your eyes to think who she could be.
She felt like someone close. Memories came back flooding your mind. You had a father who died years ago. She was your mother. She was... she was crying? Why? She ran up to your bed and hugged you tight. "Hi, mom!" You said smiling and hugging her. She hugged you tighter. Dr. Vantas put his hand on your mom's shoulder to get her attention. "May I speak with you outside, Mrs. (L/N)?" You mother nodded smiling, wiping her tears. "Sure, Doctor." The three of them left the room, leaving you with the fraud boy.
He asked again. "So you really don't remember me?" You shook your head. "For all I know, you're my bully pretending to be my friend." You cracked a smile, but he looked back at you with eyes filled with sorrow and regret. "So you are, aren't you?" You spoke without a response from Sollux. He sighed. "I guess something like that..." He frowned looking out the window again. Maybe he knocked me out? You shrugged and laid down. Maybe a few minutes late, the nurse from previous stepped in saying visiting hours for Non-relatives were over for the day. He left without saying a word.
As the rest of the week progressed some other people had come in to see you. One guy named Karkat Vantas, who you found out was also knocked out as long as another boy named Dave Strider. Apparently, Karkat's Dad was Dr. Vantas. You became close with Karkat. Then a girl named Vriska was here every day telling you to get better. They seemed familiar but this Sollux dude. Who was he?
Knock! Knock! Knock! "Come in!" you yelled. Must be time for another check up. You rolled yoru eyes, as the door opened that Sollux kid popped in his head. "Hey (f/n). Just wanted to drop by the see how you were doing. Are you okay?" You nodded. He sat at the end of your hospital bed and looked at you. "And your name is Sollux, right?" He smiled and nodded. I'm not in the mood of making friends with a "bully". Mine to be exact. How may I help you today Sollux?" You said his name mockingly. He looked over at you smiling. "Same old (F/n)..."
He began crawling on the bed and pinned you down. "I'm gonna make you remember who I am..." He smirked and kissed you. You had a moment of shocked before pushing him off you. "What do you think you're doing?!" You shot up scowling at him. "You're my bully, remember?" He shook his head. "I'm a friend, not a bully, I just made a mistake..." He came up to you catching you off guard. He kissed you again and you began melting into the kiss. He shoved his tongue into your mouth and you moaned. He put one of his hand to caress your cheek as you two made out for a little.
After about 3 minutes, a knock came from the door. He pulled away quickly, looking over at the door where you said for whoever was there to come in. It was the nurse again to check up on you. You both had flushed faces and he just ran out the door. The nurse rushed over asking if you felt faint or if you felt ill. She checked for a fever. After she was done checking you, she left. You had put your hand on your heart, feeling it race every time you thought about Sollux or the kiss... Who is he really?...
