"Ron! What are you doing?" Hermione said frightened.

The Doctor looked at Ron closely, "Of course!"

"What?" Hermione asked.

"The Master is controlling him." The Doctor said.

"Of course I'm controlling him! Do you really think he would do this willingly?" The Master sneered, clearly annoyed.

"Why are you doing this?" Hermione asked.

"Well, you are traveling with the Doctor, anyone who travels with the Doctor needs to know that they will be hurt."

Hermione looked at the Doctor and saw the acceptance of what the Master had said, but she wouldn't let the Doctor accept it for long.

"I am not going to let you accept that." Hermione said turning to the Doctor.

The Doctor sighed. "It is my fault though. Everyone that has traveled with me has been hurt or worse."

Hermione was becoming annoyed with how much he was sounding like Harry. "I know what you are thinking. You think I don't understand. Well maybe I don't understand all of you but i do know that you sound a lot like Harry."

"How?"

"Ever since Harry was a child he didn't believe in himself. Then he found out that he was a wizard and the savior of a world he had never heard about. But he didn't let that go to his head. Whenever someone close to him would die, he would become heartbroken and would want to go on the quest that he had to do alone, but Ron and I wouldn't allow it, and I'm not going to allow you to travel alone either. No matter how much we get hurt." Hermione said determinedly.

The Doctor looked at Hermione. Surprised by how much he saw in her, and how much she never got to actually be a kid. He knew that he had made the right choice in making them his companions.

"Ahh how touching." The Master said sarcastically before turning back to Ron.

"Kill them."

Ron took out his wand and shot a spell at Hermione. Hermione quickly put up a defense spell. She didn't want to fight Ron.

"Ron! Please! Snap out of this!" Hermione yelled.

"He can't hear you! I'm in control!" The Master laughed.

"He can always hear me and I can always hear him." Hermione told him.

The Doctor noticed a small glint in Ron's eye when Hermione talked.

"Keep talking to him!" The Doctor shouted at Hermione.

"Ron! I love you! Please don't do this!"

Now Hermione could see the fight going on in Ron. Even as he was shooting spells at her.

"Take control Ron!" The Doctor shouted.

"I believe in you!" Hermione shouted.

Ron came too for a moment. "Knock him out!" He yelled before slipping back in again and shooting her with another spell.

Hermione turned her wand away from Ron after she had stopped Ron's spell, and shot the master with a knockout spell. Causing him to fly back and hit the ground hard. Breaking the last of the control that he had on Ron.

"Hermione!" Ron happily yelled, hugging Hermione.

"Good idea! I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before!" Hermione said.

"Good job guys!" The Doctor congratulated.

"What do we do with The Master?" Rory asked.

"Lets take him back to his hideout and have him tell us were River is." The Doctor said.

"Sounds good to me." Amy said darkly.

"Lets get going." The Doctor said.

Sorry I didn't have much of the Pond's in this chapter! I didn't know how to incorporate them.
