BABY I'M BACK AND I GOT THE SUGAR!
THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOU SAY GIMME THE SUGAR!
Okay that was supposed to be funny, clearly it was not.
We never talk about this.
Do you guys even read these things?!
Okay so it's been a while, but now That Summer is FINALLY back in business.
I know I've lost a lot of readers over these past months, so I don't really expect anything different.
I understand if you've lost all interest that you've had. I'm not mad at you.
Anyway,
DISCLAMIER: Lilly5603 does not own A&A or any of the characters used in this story.

"Ally what is that on your finger?" my 'dad' asks.
I froze.
ALLY'S POV
"What's what?" I ask trying to walk past him.
"What's with the ring?" he asks pulling me back by the hem of my shirt.
"I went to a flea market. It was on sale, therefore I bought it," I explained like a robot.
"And it's on your ring finger," My dad concluded not believing me.
He ain't buying it. Lie or tell the truth? Eh, lying better these days.
"I know what you're thinking," I say, "Austin didn't give me this. I bought it with my money and put it on my finger myself. Austin is not ready to propose," I explained.
"I believe you," he said. His eyes suggested that look that said 'you wanna play the lying game?'
"You wanna play this game Ally? I am your father. I do have rights. And that included knowing where you were these past few days," he said beginning to raise his voice. I wince; I hate it when people do that.
"I'm not playing a game," I defend. "If you want me to take it off, I will," I added pulling the ring off and dumping it on the table.
"Do you too have to fight? All I know is that Ally is home, and Lester you should be grateful that she's alive and healthy with us. We can deal with this later," my mom said wrapping an arm around me, protecting me form the evil, evil man.
Before dad could say anything else she guided me upstairs. "Ashley, get Ally's bags," my mom instructed. I saw Ashley roll her eyes but said nothing.
"This isn't over," my dad warned.
"'This' is not a movie. It is over," my mom called behind her.
"So tell me, what did you and Austin do?" My mom asked once we were behind closed doors. We were in my room.
I was unpacking when she asked, and I froze. How did she know?
"What are you talking about?" I asked playing dumb.
"I know you were with him. In Las Vegas. I also know the ring is from him. But I will not push that, because I pray you two know what you're doing," she said with a pointed look.
"Okay, we went to a little party, we had some fun and then we're back to the usual drama," I said plopping down beside her resting my head on her shoulder.
"Where is he now," she asked resting her arm on my knee.
"Probably in his hotel room, eating his worries away," I say looking at the ground. Austin couldn't be thinking about me as much as I'm thinking about him. He has so much going one. He missed a couple concerts and fans are angry, I could imagine what his manager is thinking, him leaving to go fool around with some high school girl.
"How did you know you loved dad?" I asked.
"He was a different man back then. He didn't care for the money. He was sweet and kind. Bought me flowers; he used to take me anywhere I wanted to go. He was utterly, totally love-struck." She answered smiling back at the memories.
"But my parents did care for him," she continued, "They said that I should focus on school, not some boy. They thought he was slippery as soap, when he got what he wanted he would leaveā¦" she said frowning a bit, "But we proved them wrong," she added with a faint smile.
"Do you like Austin?" I asked. I had to know. If her parents thought that my dad was as slippery as soap, what would they say about rockstar Austin Moon?
"I think he's perfect for you. Opposites attract. And that's exactly what's happening. He's sweet and I could see that he really cares for you. Enough to run away with you, enough to stand up for you, enough to miss his concerts for you. After all these years, I still see it in his eyes when he talks to you, when he touches you, when he kisses you. Ally that is true love. Take it before it goes," she said.
"I know, I think his fans hate me though," I said with a frown. I really didn't need 13 year old girls banging my door with death threats.
She actually laughed when I told her this, "It's part of the package," she giggled, which caused me to giggle and then we burst into a full out laughing session, rolling on the bed and all.
"Well if you two are done being high," Ashley said interrupting, "Dinner is done,"
"So I reviewed what had happened this past week and I have made a decision." My dad said. We were eating dinner, something I always loved doing as a family, now I'm hoping it goes by soon.
And not just because of awkwardness, Ashley's cooking isn't the best really.
Everyone was just there poking the food round with our spoons, trying to get past this very awkward moment.
"And what's that?" my mom asked before putting a fork full of mashed potatoes.
"That, I'm leaving the house,"
Was it worth the wait? Maybe not. Review, Fav and follow :)
