Mirajane yawned, walking home from the guild that night. The rain fell at a steady pace, hitting the ground with small plip-plop noises. Passing Lucy's apartment, she could hear her yelling at Natsu.

"Ah! Natsu get out!"
"But why~?"
"Because! Im getting dressed! Stop staring at me in my underwear!"
"It looks just like a bikini whats the difference?"
"GET OUT!"

Mirajane couldnt help but giggle as she passed by, when Natsu came flying out the window, landing face first on the ground.

"Natsu!" Happy flew out the window to check on his friend.

Mirajane sighed, and continued walking. The lake near Lucy`s apartment was amazing at night, the water droplets could be heard gently pelting the lake surface.

As she began to come across her apartment, unlocked the door, and stepped inside. It was late, and Elfman and Lissana were both probably asleep. Tip-toeing into the hallway, she checked on both her siblings before walking into her own room. She began to undress, and got into her nightgown before stepping into bed.

She turned on her side, and stared at the wall. Plain and white. "Maybe I should get them painted..." This thought lingered for a while until her eyes fell shut, and she drifted to sleep.

Waking up the next day, breakfast was a blur. She had woken up late, barely having time to gulp down a glass of orange juice before rushing her way to the guild, her siblings close behind. Getting to the guild, completely out of breath, she was relieved to see Kinnana had taken her shift at the bar.

Running up to her, Kinnana smirked. "Late~" Somehow, she kept her cheery demeanor while saying that.

Mirajane smiled, and partially sighed in relief. "Thanks! Youre a life saver, Ill pay you back...how long did you work for?"

"Dont worry about it." Kinnana said as she walked away, grabbing her tray and bringing drinks to some other tables.

Mirajane began to weave her way through the guild and to the bar, but was surprised to see Freed perched on one of the stools, his once waist-length hair now shaved completely off, leaving behind just a short green fuzz. She wouldnt have even recognized him, if it wasnt for his coat he rarely took off.

As she took her post behind the bar, she walked over to Freed. "New haircut...?"She asked, turning on the sink and rinsing some mugs to start the day.

Freed glanced up at her, and then back at the counter. "...You could say that."

Mirajane smiled. "I think it suits you, in a way. Ive never seen your full face before...well, not at one time anyway."

"What do you mean?"

"Before you cut it, your bangs always covered the side of your face, so you would only see about half at a time...I always wondered what you looked like under there." She said, as her smile grew.

Freed shrugged. "I guess alot of people wondered that."

"Why'd you get it cut, anyway?"

"It was the only way I wouldnt get expelled from the guild...Master said it would be as a punishment. It was either cut my hair off or be kicked from the guild."

"...I'm guessing you weren't too fond of either choice."

"No...but still. I can always grow my hair back, even if itll take a few years. Fairy Tail is a one time deal."

"You've got that right."

The two then found themselves in a session of awkward silence, after all, there wasnt much left to say.

"Well...that aside, do you want something to drink?" Mirajane asked, drying the mugs she had rinsed a few minutes back.

"Just water..."Freed answered back. The said bartender then nodded, and reached under the bar to grab one of the glasses they normally used for water. Mugs were only ever used by Macao, Wakaba and Cana whenever they had drinking contests, seeing as the were usually the only ones to ever order alcohol, aside from when Bickslow would occasionally join in.

She filled it with cold water. "Ice?"

"Sure." Freed answered. Mirajane plopped 3 ice cubes into the glass with a cheerfull "Here you go." as she set the glass down in front of him.

He picked up the glass with a quick "thank you very much" and took a few sips, before setting it back down again.

This was how the guild was, now that battle of FairyTail had ended. The peace had returned...but would that be for very long?

Yeah...let's wait for Gray and Natsu to get back.
