A/N: It's time for some Amihiha love. And by love I mean spotlight.
Back to Franklin's View.
It had been a few weeks ever since I stayed in Sindria. I spent some time, honing my swordplay with Sharrkan. According to him, I'm both a bad student, and a unique one. He says that I'm a bit sloppy, even with the discipline of Mu, but he also was astonished with one of my own developed moves that required my extreme flexibility. I remembered clamping my blades with his blade, then he quickly reeled it out and was about to disarm me, only to find that I was already in the air, doing a back flip toward him. I did a wide swing downward with my two swords as I landed. Sharrkan was surprised I improvised the Flying Snake Fang, a difficult move to master, even Sharrkan had a hard time to master. He also scolded me for using my sword's magnetic ability (which I discovered during my training) to allow my blades to be stuck on my ankles, imitating a difficult Parthevian Fighting style: The Dancing Spider style, a sword style utilizing all your limbs for swordplay. I just fought with whatever techniques I have and think of; an improvised fighting style. Despite that, Sharrkan still beat me all the time with some effort, because of his greater mastery and knowledge of more fighting styles.
Also, we celebrated Alibaba's return from the delayed Summit. All of Sindria celebrated. Of course all work and no play makes Franklin a grumpy man, so I decided to enjoy the party. I ate, drank, and danced around. I talked to Alibaba, and all I have to say is that he's a swell guy. He has a pretty complicated past involving a cycle of rags to riches and vice versa. But he still grew strong through his willpower and selflessness, even risking his own life to save others.
Sinbad decided that I should learn more about Magoi Manipulation, so he taught me. Even with my Parasite, he could still block my flow, and not get affected. When I attempted to absorb Magoi, he actually stopped the Magoi flow of his arm temporarily and used his other arm to block the arm that held his arm. By a few weeks, Sinbad, through his observation, deemed me as middle-level Magoi Manipulator.
There's just so much things happening, that I can't fully master swordplay, Magoi Manipulation, and my Djinn. I guess I'm just a jack-of-all-trades, like my old self, but screw that, through hard work, determination, and grit, I can grow as powerful as Sinbad.
Speaking of which, what did my friends do? Emiline studied some water magic with the boobie magic-er Yamuraiha. She seemed to have a hard time dealing it with the first week, but started to get the basics of it afterward. Amihiha, she worked out with Hinahoho, and trained in swordplay with Ramses. Ramses, while he's not training, busied himself in the beautiful forests of Sindria. We all agreed to join Sinbad on his battle with Al-Thamen, an evil organization that plans to consume the world in Black Rukh. Amihiha and Ramses were well aware of their infamy. Emiline and I heard about Al-Thamen through Titus and Mu. The Medium was an example. 13 King Vessels, all using Extreme Magic upon it, and surviving. It's like facing a powerful force that could destroy a whole continent, and that Medium survived. I don't know what Extreme Magic looks like, but all I know is that it's results are catastrophic.
I was resting in my bed, with Emiline sharing the other half. Both of us don't intend to "do it", mostly because we both don't want it right now. I'm pretty sure Sinbad is trying to put us together. Emiline is a good friend, but she's not my girlfriend, nor do I have any sort of romantic feelings. Ramses and Ami are in the same room together, but to Ramses, it felt like a brother and a sister snuggling together. Strangely, I always wanted a little both turned away from each other, staring at our respective sides. We were both awake, and I spoke first.
"Do you think Al-Thamen was in our world?" I asked. Maybe Theo was conditioned by Al-Thamen. I mean, who taught him magic?
"Maybe... perhaps your little brother, Theo is affiliated with them," she replied.
He could have ended up like Judar, the Magi of Al-Thamen. But in this case, he wasn't taken away from his family. Could he have been secretly taught by Al-Thamen?
"Do you still love your brother?" Emiline said.
I nodded to her question. My brother may be evil, but I still care for him. Even if he's absorbed in some sort of anger, I think deep down, he truly cares for me. There were times where he showed care for me. He'd sometimes remind me to do my homework, and that's all I remember. I've helped him with homework, put a blanket on him while he was sleeping without one, and also reminded him to do chores he was assigned to do. I really hope he'll embrace his Magi status in a more selfless way instead of that of revenge. So my answer? Yes.
"Yeah... I'll never disown my brother, even if he killed my brothers..." I looked at my chest,"They're still here, helping me,"
I shed a single tear. The memories of my brothers started to flow through, and my memories of time spent with them also surged. This was a good mixture of nostalgia and feeling. I felt a warm arm go on top of me. It was Emiline's arm. I turned my head and saw her smiling face.
"I can see their Rukh, bonded with your soul," she said,"As a Magi, you, Ramses, Amihiha, and I will always be linked together by fate. We'll help you save your brother,"
Her hand wiped my tear, causing my frown to shift into a comforted smile.
"Thank you, Emiline," I said with a relieved tone.
Tomorrow.
Sinbad has requested an audience with Team FEAR. Emiline didn't agree at first, most likely because it sounded antagonistic. Ami and Ramses thought otherwise, due to FEAR having the first letters of our names.
All four of us approached his throne/desk. Masrur and Jafar, his most trusted companions stood by him. I put up my right hand and smiled, greeting the three. Sinbad and Jafar waved back and smiled, while Masrur only waved, retaining his serious face. According to Sharrkan, Masrur may not look like it, but he's a good guy.
"Yes, what is it, Sinbad?" I asked.
"All right, so it's time I told you about what's happening. Alibaba, and his Household were sent on another voyage again, this time to Sasan."
I raised a brow from this.
"Why did he get sent to Sasan?" I asked.
"To start, you're already aware of the delayed Summit due to your sudden presence. People from all over the world claimed that you came from a distant future and believe that you're prophets, or denizens of Alma Torran. The Summit was delayed due to some of the government leaders backing out. This includes the Kou Empire and the Parthevia Empire. Also, I've received a message from Knight King, Darius Leoxses. He said that a dungeon appeared nearby his city, Caim."
Darius Leoxses. That name exudes badassery. He must also look badass too, like Sinbad.
"I'm guessing either Judar or Yunan are behind this?" Emiline said.
Sinbad pondered for a moment, gathering his thoughts.
"Strangely, Darius had a hunch that it might not be the works of Judar or Yunan, the most suspicious Magi,"
Jafar widened his eyes in realization.
"Sin, could it be possible that it's one of the Magi from Franklin and Emiline's world?" Jafar said.
That could have been possible. Did Theo find a way into this world?
"It may be possible, Alibaba will tell us the results, As for you guys, I'm sending you to a dungeon in the ocean near Parthevia, Goap"
"Goap?" Amihiha said.
"Goap is a similar dungeon to Zagan, it's living and terrorizes the surrounding area. Goap is terrorizing the ships passing by sending out sea monsters. The trade route has became extremely dangerous thanks to these monsters, and since you guys have proven your strength, I'm sending you there,"
I sighed. It was getting fun here, but in order to find a way back home, I have to get stronger. If I get too relaxed here, then I'm not making any progress. Also, maybe Amihiha finds this situation as fun because it's a new adventure. Like what Emiline said to me last time: Our adventure is not over. I shifted my depressed look into a smile.
"Hey, Team FEAR, we're still young and running. Are you up for another adventure? Because the Undead Marauder, Franklin Steinherz is." I raised my scissors into the air.
Everyone in the room had bewildered looks. Masrur had a raised eyebrow. I sighed in sadness from the lack of energy here. Sinbad regained his composure and continued.
"Anyway, you're ship will be ready by tomorrow. Pack up anything you need and I wish you well in your journey,"
Pisti flew in on her giant bird and hopped to the floor. She waved at all of us, and we waved back.
"Since there are sea monsters, I'll be joining you in this voyage," she said happily.
Ramses and Emiline all looked at me with fearsome faces. A look like that basically implies they'd kill me if I do something they don't want. So what if Pisti is here? I'm no pedophile, in fact, she's 19 for Solomon's sake.
Sindria Harbor. Tomorrow
The ramp was put up, and everyone gathered to see our departure. Sinbad, alongside his Eight generals stood in the front of the crowd. We all packed up bags for the journey, and Amihiha carried the most. Before we headed into the ship, we all said our goodbyes.
"Goodbye Sharrkan, it was really fun training with you," I said to Sharrkan as we bumped fists.
"It was fun seeing a person with such a unique and improvised fighting style. Enjoy your trip!" he said with a cheery smile.
"Goodbye Spartos," I said to the red haired knight.
He bowed politely and smiled calmly.
"Have a safe trip, my friend," the Knight from Sasan said.
I turned to Hinahoho, or in this case tilted my head upward.
"Bye Hinahoho. Also, tell your kids I said Goodbye,"
He crouched down and put up one finger. His finger was as long as my forearm. I bumped my fist to it, and then he laughed with a fatherly tone.
"Thanks, my kids really like you, you know?" I smiled from his compliment. I usually had a hard time with kids.
I turned to the next person. The giant dragon humanoid.
"See ya later Dragul Nol Henrius... er... Drakon," I usually try to say people's full names sometime, but damn was his name long. It was like saying the actual full name of Bangkok. The gentle giant dragon chuckled at my attempt.
"Drakon is just fine, Franklin Ernesto Steinherz," he replied calmly. I laughed awkwardly.
I walked up to Masrur. He was too serious to do anything... manly.
"Bye Masrur," I said.
He nodded calmly, keeping his serious face. I walked up to the guy who tried to take Jasmine away from Aladdin. That man was crossing his arms, hiding Bararaq Sei.
"Bye Jafar. Wish you luck in keeping Sindria stable,"
He laughed awkwardly.
"Well uh... goodbye Franklin. It was nice getting to know you for a bit,"
Then I turned to the girl with clams on her breasts. I seriously feel like I'm wearing red slippers and saying goodbye to a tin man, a lion that is a pussy, and a scarecrow. Well too bad Glinda the Good Witch, I'm not wearing any ruby slippers nor am I wearing some sort of dress.
"And..." Nope, I'm not going to say that,"I will miss you most of all, Yamuraiha,"
Dammit all.
"Yeah, you too," she said kindly.
I closed my eyes and attempted to hug her. I accidentally(actually pretended) tripped and was about to land my face in her bosom. It was interrupted with a staff hooking on my cape. Damn you, Emiline.
"Get going, pervy zombie," she said as she tossed me into the boat, using her telekinesis.
Nearly a week later.
There have been a few Southern Creatures that attempted to invade us, only to be manipulated by Pisti. We weren't too far, considering the large distance between Sindria and Balbadd. There was a pirate invasion, but Pisti used the creatures to threaten the marauders.
In most of our free time, Ramses, Amihiha, and I sparred each other with only our weapons. Both Ramses and I agreed to not Djinn Weapon Equip to not make Amihiha feel left out. Also, Ramses said I needed to have knowledge of techniques instead of improvising too much. He considered it "savage".
I was asleep in my quarters, until one of the soldiers woke me up. I got up and ran to the deck. The rest of my friends came out too. Their grogginess shifted into surprise from a palace that resembles the Taj Mahal, being carried by water. The palace shone with blue. There were many sea monsters coming out from the water underneath the palace. A giant sea monster came out in front of us. It was extremely huge and had a similar coral weapon that Amihiha has as a horn. Pisti was running low on Magoi from warding off Southern Creatures, so now it was our turn to fight. Ramses, Emiline, and I brandished our weapons.
"Wait!" Amihiha said as she walked forward.
She held her Unicorn Horn with one hand, backhanded. The loose grip tape flowed with the wind, as did her shawl and long pony tail.
"I've hunted something like this before," she said calmly,"By myself,"
She of all people in Imuchakk managed to solo this?! She entered into an unusual fighting pose. Amihiha still held her sword in backhanded style and she bent her knees. The creature roared greatly, causing everyone to cover their ears. After the roar ended, Amihiha turned her head to us, smiling.
"It's my turn to fight," she said as she gripped her blade tighter,"Bring it on, Rampaging Unicorn!"
That's the Rampaging Unicorn?! The beast threw its head at the ship, attempting to chomp down the ship. Using only one hand, she swung her weapon to the left when the Unicorn was close enough. Her Unicorn Horn smacked the giant sea monster, causing it to drop back into the sea. Amihiha ran to the edge of the ship and dove right to it.
"Amihiha!" I shouted, but she already dove into the water.
I prepared to chase her, but a hand held my shoulder. It was Pisti, standing on her bird.
"Don't get too worried, Franky, she's an Imuchakk huntress. She's a powerful combatant, even underwater."
I guess I had to leave it to her. I can't swim, I'm pretty sure Ramses can't too. Emiline may know how to swim, but can she hold her breath long?
Amihiha's View
I can hold my breath long enough. I can hold it for at least 40 minutes, so I have to end this in around 30 minutes. The deep blue underwater world is scary at first, but I don't fear it. Through grit, and adaptation, the dark blue abyss doesn't scare me anymore. The unicorn spotted me and rushed toward me with its mouth open. I pushed myself to the left, avoiding his charge. When I saw his torso, I hooked onto it with my weapon. When I heard there were sea monsters, I was two hooked fang knives from Hinahoho. I placed them in sheaths at the back of my waist. I unsheathed one and hooked on to the beast. The beast continued to swim fast, so scaling it would be a challenge. I put my sword on my back, where I placed a sash that held on to it and unsheathed the other knife. I scaled the back while it swam. It went too fast, so I climbed cautiously, making slow progress. It started rising toward the surface and hopped over the ship. As we were airborne, I ran toward its neck and managed to hook on to its neck. It went back into the sea, but then it realized I was on its neck and started to shake me off. The sea monster shook around frantically, and I attempted to hold on for my life.
"Grgh!" I grunted as I let go.
I didn't want to get sick from that motion. If I got nauseous, then I could run out of breath quickly. Sheathing my hook knives, I got my Unicorn Horn out. It rushed toward me with surprising speed. I charged up my Magoi into my sword as it got closer. Suddenly...
"Don't hang with us anymore, Little Miss Perfect!" a voice said in my head.
I suddenly see a vision of the past. After I killed the Rampaging Unicorn by myself, everyone started to envy me and isolate me. I tried to befriend them, but they always told me to go away.
My Magoi stopped flowing into my sword. Why did I daydream? I simply darted upward, dodging that charge. The daydream I dreamed. It was right after I killed the Rampaging Unicorn when I was 7. Everyone started to dislike me for killing it by myself. I was alone for a long time.
"Graagh!"
The tail whacked me hard. That really hurt me. It hurt so much that I couldn't move for a while. Here I was, floating on my back and staring at the ocean floor.
"Warriors die if they don't fight. Those who let their harpoons rust in front of their prey are cowards,"
Grandpa has always said that whenever we were on a hunt. I remembered he said that during the time Parthevia tried to invade again. The first time they invaded was when a dungeon appeared near the village. My gramps, though a warrior, fought to destroy their fighting spirit, because a man named Sinbad influenced him. Rabid beasts were the true savages.
I woke up from that daydream. The jaws of the beast were close. Instead of dodging it, I went under its jaw and jammed my blade into it. It attempted to roar, but my sword blocked its movement. The jaw was soft compared to the other parts. It shook around frantically. I hung on as tight as I could. The blood of this beast will keep my harpoon sharp. It swam upward and its head burst out from the ocean. I looked behind me and saw the ship. I turned my body to the ship and tugged forward. After a few strains, I started to get exhausted. When it shook its head forward, I landed on the deck of the ship and tried to pull forward, but it could barely budge. The weight of this whole beast was hard to anchor, so I was losing my strength fast. Suddenly, hands gripped on my sword.
"You're a strong fighter, but even you need some help from your friends," Franklin said.
"Amihiha, you don't always have to protect us by yourself. We can protect you in return." Ramses said with a confident grin.
Emiline stood behind me, with the two men on each side. Her staff glowed purple.
"Don't worry Amihiha, we're here to help when you're in trouble," the otherworldly Magi said.
I remembered now. I remembered a time where I wasn't alone. I had a hunting troupe when I was eight. We fought many creatures together. I remembered I hooked a Southern Creature's jaw by myself. I started to get tired as the large creature was about to overpower me.
"I'm here to help," Obirito said. My 10 year old friend was loyal and willing to help when I need it. He held on the rope too.
"You're not alone, Amihiha," said Pipahinay, the seven year old girl who carried large bone fang on her back. She too held on too the rope.
"Together, we're unstoppable," Pippilowa said, the 13 year old girl.
With our combined strength, the Southern Creature couldn't get free from our grasp, and then it's jaw was forcefully ripped. That day was not a glorious day for me, but for my hunting troupe. I realized that friends will help you when you're in deep struggle.
"UUUUUURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHH!" I screamed as loud as I could.
The jaw ripped out, through our shared strength. A part of its top mouth was scarred from my sword. The beast flailed around frantically, with the blood spewing out from its lost jaw. I turned to it and hopped on its head. I had my Horn on my back and grabbed one of the hook knives while hanging on to its horn. I vigorously stabbed the area around the horn, causing greater pain to this grand beast. Stab after stab, the horn got more loose. I was filled with a hunting fervor from this constant stabbing. I pulled out the horn with some effort. I can see the blood gushing out from where the horn once was. With the horn on my hands, I hopped away from the Rampaging Unicorn and tossed the horn into its eye. The horn was big enough to go through its brain, and exit out from the other eye. As soon as it went through, the Rampaging Unicorn's constant panic ended immediately and dropped into the ocean. When I tossed the horn, I leaned backward and dove into the ocean. I swam out into the ocean immediately and climbed back into the boat through a rope, provided by the soldiers. It feels good to both hunt and protect my friends.
Franklin's View.
Wow. Such ferocity. I can't believe how Amihiha won against that giant beast. She still fought it underwater and she even tossed its jaw right in front of us. When she climbed back into the boat, Emiline, Ramses, and I had dropped jaws out of astonishment of her strength. Never have I seen her fight so ferociously. Despite all that, she welcomed us with her trademark friendly smile. Her fairly tanned skin was painted with the blood of that beast. Some of that blood tainted her white tube top. She went down on her knees from the damage from that fight. I quickly rushed in to help her.
"Amihiha, are you okay?"
She panted heavily. She then hugged me with her arms.
"Thank you, Franklin. Thank you all for being such trustworthy friends," she closed her eyes and passed out from exhaustion.
The sun was going down. The ship set sail for Goap. We have to conquer this dungeon so that we can grow stronger. So that Amihiha won't feel left out. I have a feeling that she fought with that ferocity to prove that she can be as strong as us. I really hope Goap is going to be her Djinn. I don't want to leave her out, like how I was in school. As soon as we reach the dungeon's outer garden, we will rest there and prepare to crawl in it by next day. Too bad Pisti isn't able to enter, because she's a part of Sinbad's Household. I looked out into the ocean and saw a small number of monsters. Once Pisti recovers her Magoi, she can make a path for us. I looked at Amihiha, she had closed eyes and an exhausted looking face.
"Amihiha, I promise you that we'll get the Djinn of this dungeon. I don't want you to feel left out, just like how I was,"
I looked at the dungeon. A mysterious wind blew, and my cape started to flutter.
"Goap, get ready to meet your new King Vessel,"
A/N: So for anyone who read Sinbad no Bouken (prequel to Magi's main story), the latest chapter was pretty awesome. I always knew Nameless would be Hinahoho (Spoiler Alert). As always thanks for reading and Review if you wish.
Edit: So as of now, I'll delete the bio pages. Now this Fic will now only have chapters. If you want to see OC info, go to my page(still WIP).
Edit 2: I've reread the manga pages again. I made the delayed Summit make more sense by the Kou Empire backing out.
Edit 3: Renamed Haborym into Caim.
