"Ally we need to talk,"
"Yeah, but just not now," she brushed him off as she returned from the bathroom.
"No, this is important,"
"Not as important as my sleep," she fired.
"No, this concerns-,"
"I don't have time for this! I need some rest!" she snapped completely ignoring the fact that in his hands, held the secret that she was keeping.
"Ally-" he started but cut off when he saw she was already asleep. "You know what? We'll continue this tomorrow," he said angrily. How could she just sleep at a time like this!
But even as mad as he is, she still looked like an angel when sleeping and his heart still warmed at the sight of her.
Let's face the music. He could never be mad at her.
And that scared him.
Was he so deep into love that it blinded him from other things? Before he came, he wasn't sure what to expect from seeing her. Obviously it turned out great.
But what was he to do when he got back to L.A? He couldn't stay in Miami forever, as much as he wanted to. He was Austin Moon, he was needed in the recording studios, he was needed for the camera, he was needed, and he couldn't leave them hanging.
Yet he couldn't leave Ally either.
"Lester!" Penny cried when she saw her man walk in the doors…with bags.
"Love!" he cried picking her up. Awwww, old people love.
"Are you back?" she asked her eyes eating and searching him.
"Forever and always,"
"What happened?" she asked leading him to the couch.
"I realized that life doesn't revolve around me. The store is not number one, our family is. And Ashley is, but so is Ally. And I've been a fool is ignore her. And I need to make it up to her," he said closing his eyes.
"I need to, because I need to do it, be the father that I never was…that I could never be. And before it's too late and she hates me forever, I need to change it,"
"I understand, and I'm glad that you had a change of heart," Penny said with a smile.
"Ally?" Lester called knocking on her door.
"Als?" he called again. He pounded a little harder, "Ally, at least reply,"
"Alicia, if you don't open the door this instant, I will come. Decent or not," he warned.
"Fine then," he sighed turning the knob finding it unlocked.
"Ally?" he called and then heard the shower running and it made sense why she didn't answer.
He thought he would wait but decided against it. He'd wait when she'd come downstairs.
He looked around and was about to leave when a big, brown envelope caught his eyes. They say curiosity killed the cat and it did kill him and he went suddenly pale as his eyes scanned over the same word Austin's did less than twenty four hours ago.
Pregnant.
Now people, it's that time of month again, no I'm not complaining about my feminine problems, I mean it's exam time.
And when it is exam time, I gotta study and study and study more again.
