ALLY'S POV
I felt dejected. Like part of me was missing. Austin just walked out the door just like that ending what little relationship we had left. My parents have retreated to upstairs and left me alone on the cold floor of the living room. After Austin left, standing up felt like too much of a task so I'd just sunk to my knees and developed fatal position.
I didn't understand why he would just decide that he was going. I know I did something wrong but was he out of line?
I just cried and cried and eventually cried myself to sleep. I didn't know how long I was knocked out for my I eyes snapped open when I felt a nudge on my shoulder.
"Ally?" Ashley called softly.
"Mhhmm?" I mumbled.
"What happened?" she asked concerned getting down on her knees.
"He left," I mumbled dejectedly.
"You're not making sense. Who left?" she asked
"He," I replied
"Dad, are you fussing over him again?" she asked
"No, Austin,"
"Oh," she said and wrapped me in an unexpected hug but I had no energy to reply.
"Left as in for the night or back to L.A?" she asked
"The second one," I mumbled. It pained too much to say it.
"I'm so sorry," she said and something in me snapped
"I don't need your pity," I snapped. She looked shocked and she just she was treating me like I was some charity case. In fact that's what this entire family treats me like. Like I'm some person they took in just because. Like I'm they're dog. And I'm sick of it.
And what pains is that I was feeling the exact same way before Austin came back. But this time he isn't here to save me. And that sucked beyond words.
And of course this brought fresh new tears to me. I didn't even know I was capable and anymore tears.
"Wake up," my mom snapped
"Go away," I moaned getting under the cover. Last time I checked it was still summer and therefore I shouldn't be getting up before dark, at least I think it's before dark.
"You need to get up," she replied
"Next hour," I mumbled snuggling into the blankets.
"It's seven in the morning Ally, Sonic Boom opens in two hours.
"Which means I have another hour's sleep,"
"No it means you need to get up now or I get the bucket," she says
I really didn't need some ice cold water splashed on my face at the moment and I was gathering the energy in me to get up when it rains on my face.
She did get the damn bucket.
"Okay, I'm up!" I said bolting upright with a jolt.
"We have some concerns to discuss with you," my manager, Jimmy said. I sat across him on the leather chair identical to his resting my hands on the table.
"Cut to the point," I snapped. I had been very snappish since I left Ally last night. My mind acted without thinking. I was told that I would have to return home soon but I didn't mean to break the news to Ally like that. I meant to take her back with me. I wanted her with me. I was even organizing the school work in L.A and I already had permission since I knew Ally's second dream school was in L.A and I wasn't prepared to leave her to go New York by herself and make her stay there with strangers when she could be with me happy and safe.
All I'm doing is for Ally's sake and happiness. My agent even sent some of her songs to my management, they were pleased if she'd come work for them.
But there was a big gap in my plan. If. That was if she wanted to come. If she wanted to pack up and come to an unknown country with me. If she wanted to leave relatives behind. If she wanted to leave her school. If she wanted to study in L.A. if she wanted to work with me.
I was taking a big chance, but I hoped Ally would agree with me.
Everything I do is to only have Ally happy.
"Mr. Moon?" Jimmy said bringing me out of my daydream.
"Huh?" I asked
Jimmy took in a deep breath.
"We have a problem with this last tour," he began.
"One night you were late, the other you showed up with unknown company and the rest on nights you leave abruptly. So far you have thousands of fans who wanted to see you but you only did two meet and greets out of the three weeks you were there."
"What I'm saying is that you're abandoning the fans,"
"I'm not," I immediately replied. "My fans are as dedicated and loyal to me as I am to them."
"But they wouldn't be as loyal and dedicated if you continue to behave this way," he contradicted but had a point.
If I kept this up, there wouldn't be any fans left.
"You're right," I said. This was how these types of meeting went. He pointed out my flaw, I was quick to agree not in the mood to get into an argument and he suggested the solution and I said id do it.
"I have a solution," he proposed.
"Do share," I say and he pushes a picture towards me. I hesitantly picked it up and recognized the face instantly. It was Ally. I believe this was a picture taken while we were shopping and she was inspecting a necklace, her face in complete awe and my arm wrapped protectively around her. I immediately smile at the picture.
"She seems to be a distraction," Jimmy say observing my reaction to the picture.
"I assure you she's not," I replied. I didn't need them to think that I was 'distracted' by her.
"Oh, but you are," he said standing up now and so did I.
"Oh but she's not,"
"Look at you. So young and so in love. It shatters my heart to say this," he says coming to rest a hand on my shoulder.
"What?" I asked hesitantly filching away from his touch.
"It pains me to say so," he says
"But to keep you alive in the music business, I going to have to get rid of a few…distractions,"
Where was he going with this? I watched him warily as he sat back down.
"Meaning that I'm going to have to ask you to stay away from the girl."
I have a major case of writer's block. That or I just feel too lazy to write anything.
Anyway it took me an entire pack of Extra PepperMint Gum to get through this. Now my mouth hurts from all this chewing.
Anyway I hope you like it, we see Austin's not that bad, and remember to Review, Fav and Follow it shall light up my day.
I hope you readers had a wonderful Christmas :)
