Chapter 17: Super Magi 2: The New Challengers

Judar/Hakuryuu fangirls rejoice. A sensual moment between the two awaits.

JK. But there will be action from your favorite Kou Empire people.

3rd person view of Judar and his Candidates.

It had already been a few hours through their journey. The iron willed Kou King Vessels were able to overcome the many obstacles that faced them. Kougyoku's mastery over Vinea and adept fencing ability bested the giant kraken, easily killing it with one pierce. Hakuryuu's Household already seeped out the progenitors, thanks to their master allowing them only thriving on their own Magoi, sacrificing their needed sustenance such as breathing, and sleeping. They could eat anything to recover, and if their master is kind enough, will offer them Magoi. Judar was proud of the growth of his King Candidates. There were many obstacles ahead, involving the killing of many large octopuses and other feral sea creatures. Despite their brutal yet quick methods of advancing, Team FEAR was still ahead, much to Judar's chagrin.

The Kou King Vessel Army was walking through an intricate marble hallway, after massacaring a series of sea serpents.

"Geez, how could a bunch of newbies advance so far?" Judar said as he lazed in the air, using his magic carpet to carry him,"You guys are disciplined and have an army of monsters, and it's just them four,"

Hakuryuu spun his lance once and threw a mighty swipe, swishing the blood stains off of his guan dao's blade. His face was serious at most, and his eyes seemed hollow.

"It's as if they have the answers to a test," the scarred teen said.

The warrior princess raised a brow.

"What do you mean by that, Hakuryuu?" she asked,"Do you mean like someone who has gone through this dungeon once?"

Judar was too busy lazing around to hear what both Hakuryuu and Kougyoku have to say. His purple makeup was fully seen, as he napped.

"Strangely, yes," he put his wooden arm on his chin and looked up.

*Yawn*

"Alright you bunch of aristocrats, let's get a move on," Judar lazily said.

His carpet moved on its own and lead the way. The White Prince and the Red Princess followed the young Magi, alongside their Household Vessels. After a few meters on foot, the Kou King Vessels encounter what seemed to be the door to the Treasury. The giant white gate with golden trims was large and beautiful, as if it was the Gateway to Heaven. The doors each have a hand print.

Judar and Hakuryuu put their hands on the hand prints and both said the password.

"Open Sesame!"

The door opened and revealed an extremely advanced city; a city from the future. It's silver buildings and intricate trims signified Utopia. Ironically, this Utopia was abandoned, yet retained its rich luster. This empty city is Necropolis, meaning City of the Dead, or Dead City.

Franklin's View. Necropolis Streets

"Hey Emiline, you know what this reminds me of?"

Our party flew around on Emiline's Magic Carpet. This city seemed... modern, and it also seemed familiar.

The cloudless skies were deep blue, but seemed to have some cracks with water seeping out. The tallest tower here had a cabin near the top, with a giant spike on top of it. There was also a dome nearby it, barricaded by various skyscrapers, but this tower near the dome towered over the rest. This Necropolis that Titus once spoke of reminds me of Toronto. I never went to Toronto, but I've seen images of it on the internet.

"Reminds me of Toronto, especially that CN Tower replica," Emiline said.

We continued to fly around Necropolis, until Amelia interrupted my scan of the city.

"Guys look over there," she said in a hushed voice as she pointed downward at a person.

"We should spy on them," Emiline whispered as she positioned her Carpet on a tower, preventing detection.

They were looking around, also scanning the area. One man, a man with scanty clothing, was on a Magic Carpet, and he seemed to lead two generals. One was a young man who has a scar on his left eye. His jet black hair is organized in well endowed spikes. He wears a white gi with black pantaloons and boots. A spear was on his right hand, and his left arm, though partially obscured by large pauldrons with white fur, is prosthetic. Behind him was an army of horrific monsters.

I looked at the young beauty beside him. Her magenta hair is styled in a beautiful royal hairstyle, with a hairpin holding it together. She also has a pink and yellow dress that resembled a Kimono, with that green strand of fabric floating behind her. I think I fell in love again. But I shouldn't let this infatuation hold me back. The red gem actually had the same mark on my scissors. My eyes tense from this discovery.

The young black haired man with a long braid, a girl with a Metal Vessel, Chinese themed clothing.

"These people are from..."

An image of a group of mad men appeared in my head. They all had Chinese clothing and their full faces were silhouetted, only revealing sadistic smiles.

"The Kou Empire,"

They are one of the Superpowers of this world, and they are known to be aggressive. This Kou Empire resembles the Chinese Dynasties in my world's history. With Metal Vessels, and strict discipline, their dynasty, if uninterrupted, would conquer the whole world in short time. So if Lu Bu has a Djinn, then Hell hath no fury like Lu Bu scorned.

I can't fight them at this moment. They may find out that Amihiha has no Djinn and go for her first.

"Emiline, fly away from them for a moment. Alibaba told me a technique that could work. It will be risky, but we have to do it,"

She complied with a nod and flew away silently from the Kou Brigade. I grabbed my scissors and whispered to it.

"Orobas, show me where Goap rests,"

"Why don't you show me where Goap rests?" a voice called out.

Our carpet came to an abrupt stop. I looked in fear as I saw the young man in black, with his army behind him. They all floated on a Chinese Magic Carpet. The man in black laughed childishly from spotting us.

"Wow, so this is the alien?" he said as he wiped his tears of hilarity,"And he managed to bring other friends too,"

This guy is just a douche isn't he.

"Says Mister Flamboyant! Why the hell do you wear makeup huh?"

I think I struck his nerve. He twitched in anger and gritted his teeth.

"Hey, at least I don't look as tacky and weak as you!"

I looked at my own clothing. Meh. I'm not the most fashionable man, but this is no beauty contest, nor a fanservice contest.

"Look at you, man! Are you some sort of cross-dressing exotic dancer from Qishan?!" he started to get angrier. Hulk Smash me if you want to.

"Frank, I don't think you should insult Judar," Ramses said in fear.

"Judar is the Oracle of the Kou Empire, and their Magi," Amihiha added.

He doesn't scare me, but it doesn't mean I'm going to put my guard down. Emiline stood up and went beside me, putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Frank, I'll take care of Judar," she signaled me with a head motion to look where she is looking. I saw a distant gleam on the CN Tower's cabin.

"And I'll join milady," Ramses said as he stood up enthusiastically. He hopped into the air with a rolling back flip. His sword shone a mighty glow.

"Spirit of Order and Deception, let me become the deadly cutting wind you used to strike down many challengers. I order you to grant me great power. Come, Andras!"

He surrounded himself in a tornado as he dropped down. When the heavy wind subsided, it revealed Ramses as a completely different person.

He now resembles Andras. His hair is now purple and is styled in a bob with a bang covering his left eye. He wore a white sleeveless vest with orange feathers on the shoulders. His skin is retained and an intricate tribal-styled tattoo was on his chest which resembled a horned owl. He now has a tasset with orange feathers, protecting his white shorts. He wore orange metal boots, resembling bird talons. His orange katana was present and he rode on a black wolf. Ramses Seth, the Heliohaptan thief that turned into an Aristocrat has mastered Djinn Equip.

He flew right in front of us.

"I can handle these guys. Franklin, Amihiha, and Amelia, I wish you luck,"

Emiline levitated and pointed her staff at the CN Tower replica.

"Magic Carpet, go!"

It went full speed toward the CN Tower. The girls and I hung on tightly to the carpet. It wasn't too far, so going there wouldn't be too

"Vainel Arros!"

A blue spear sped past us. I looked behind and saw the princess, now in Djinn Equip. She seemed to wear a navy blue tight suit with scales, with an opening at the middle of her belly and chest. A white sash that wrapped around her body loosely also doubled as a white robe. Her forearms and her toes all had fins. Her hair also changed into the same blue as her suit. Her eyes dilated and she smiled sadistically, resembling a bloodthirsty killer's face.

"You're going to pay for what you said to my sweet Judar, you cretin!" she shouted.

"Shut the hell up, you yandere!" I shouted back. I think that angered her more, expressed through another flurry of aquatic spears. Thank goodness the magic carpet was outfitted with dodging maneuvers, including a barrel roll. Though technically, in that game, it was actually an Aileron roll.

"We're close, prepare to land!" said Amelia.

The carpet slowed down as we were over the roof of the tower's cabin. We hopped out and landed on the cabin and looked at the crazy lady.

"Amelia, stand back, I'll be her opponent, Ami, find a way into the Treasure Room,"

She nodded and quickly followed her orders. Amelia followed her too. I grabbed my scissors from my pocket and imbued it with black lightning. The scissor enlarged into irregular shaped dual swords. My forearms turned black and had some scales on it. I don't know how I'm going to fight a seasoned Dungeon Conqueror, but I am sure to deal some good damage.

"What's the matter, alien? Can't you Djinn Equip?"

"I don't need my Djinn Equip to beat you," I said in stern voice.

I've played games where you fought extremely powerful creatures with a normal person, seasoned through increasing stats as you level of course. If I've been through a similar discipline as them prior to their big show. I fought against a giant elephant with half of my zombie powers. I could use that psychological madness of hers to my advantage.

She guffawed in response. Her laugh was both hysterical and maniacal.

"Are you crazy? Are you like Alibaba back in Balbadd?"

I shook my head and stared at her fearlessly. My whole arm was filled with electricity. I looked at it and saw my whole right arm being transformed. It was more dragon-like, and my shoulder sprouted short spikes. They conducted electricity, despite being organic.

"I'm not Alibaba, you hallucinating bitch," I reassured her.

I shot toward the princess, boosted by my Magic Tool on the back of my shin. She quickly dodged my attack by flying to the side. I turned my body toward her and jetted toward her again. This time, she turned and clashed her blade with my twin blades. I clamped her sword with both swords. Instead of reeling back, she gritted her teeth and pushed forward. She forcefully pushed me back by only enforcing her sword swing.

When one enters Djinn Equip, they have become the Djinn themselves. Perhaps they are also granted enhanced strength.

While I was blown back, I thought to myself. If I want to catch her off guard, then I'm going to have to shoot myself toward her faster. I quickly pointed both of my swords behind me and activated my magic weapon, and fired a forceful bolt of lightning. Thank you Benjamin for having Newton's Law in your memories. If I push a strong amount of force behind me while in the air, then I can allow that force's power to push me, just like how I did with the Magic Tool. By the time she saw me shoot toward her at high speed, it was already too late. In a mere second, I was already close to the princess. I quickly did a clothesline on her with my right arm, and pushed her into the roof of the tower cabin.

A small crater was formed from our crash. I realized I was on top of her. My crotch was on her belly, and when I raised myself with my arms, I realized I was touching her breasts. She was out cold for a while, or so I thought. My eyes tensed when her blade pierced my stomach. I saw her smile and laugh sadistically.

"You shall die a pervert and a fool!" she screamed.

She laughed and laughed as she saw my body lifelessly slide to the base of her blade. She ceased her cackle as she saw my head about to approach her head. When it seemed like she was about to kiss a corpse, I smiled mischievously. I halted my slide by anchoring my scissor blades on each side.

"I kinda have a thing for crazy girls,"

It was her turn to tense her eyes. She already knew a stab like this would kill me, but she hasn't seen nothing yet.

"Y-you're not human?"

"I'm an alien, you know?"

I put my left hand on her right hand and held it tightly.

"Y-you're also taught by Sinbad to do that?"

I started to slowly drain her Magoi. Veins started to pop out on her right hand. I started to feel filled up, and I wanted more. After seeing her pained face, I had to stop. She may be crazy, but she's also a human. Instead, I reversed my Magoi flow and allowed her to have some of her Magoi back. I pushed myself off from her blade and backed away from her.

"You know, I wanted to know the name of such a strong woman. I'll start. I'm Franklin Steinherz. What's yours?"

"Ren Kougyoku, and I won't hold back, even if you gave back some of my Magoi through that strange technique!"

"I'm not doing this because you're a girl, but because I want to have an honorable fight," I said with a relaxed smile. I reversed my grip on my left sword, making it backhanded style and entered an orthodox stance. My wound closed instantly, shocking the princess.

"How could you be so relaxed at such a place? Honor means nothing in a Dungeon!"

Amihiha

There was a door at the roof that lead to the inside. According to Amelia, she has been to a similar place like this, and she called it Toronto. The door near here was actually a door that lead to the inside, and according to Amelia, this part of the tower is where people looked at the edge of this tower. The inside looked rather otherworldly, yet at the same time, man-made. As we walked through the intricate hallway, a giant door met us at the end of the hall.

"The Treasury!" Amelia shouted.

We both hurried inside and were greeted by a treasure room that was as big as a baseball diamond, according to Amelia. Stony artifacts scattered around the dark blue room. The Djinn must be here somewhere.

"Amelia, look around for the Djinn," I said.

"Okay then," she said as we split paths.

We dug through the stony artifacts in case the Djinn was hidden underneath the rubble. We searched and searched, and time passed rather quickly with no discovery of the Djinn.

"Hello ladies," a voice called out in a sultry tone.

A giant man entered the treasury. This man was a mixture of a shark and a gorilla. He had the head of a shark, the body of a gorilla. His tail was replaced with a shark tail. His fur is deep blue, and his chest is white. He towered over both Amelia and I. I swear I saw an army of those monsters with them. Did Ramses and Emiline take care of all of them? I smiled at the thought, with my mind showing images of both fighters beating the crap out of them. That smile faded when I saw the ugly beast.

"Bring it on, you... you ugly monster!"

The beast roared greatly before charging toward us. He was as fast as the Southern Shark! Amelia slithered away from me, due to her inability to fight, so I had to fight this beast alone. I quickly unsheathed my blade and slammed it on his head. The shark man's head was strong enough to endure it, but my sword slammed the beast into the ground. I saw his tail about to slice me in half, but I managed to strafe to the side. The tail's strength was shown through its slicing power. It basically dug into the ground like an ax.

This fight is going to be very scary.

Ramses View.

I stood on top of a tower, breathing heavily whilst riding on my companion. Hakuryuu and Judar were difficult opponents. His affinity with Zagan is much stronger than mine, due to having mastered Djinn Equip longer than me. The monsters he create through Zagan's magic are quite deadly. The explosions burst out acid that could even melt Metal Vessels and Borgs. Judar, according to Sinbad, has been taught magic his whole life, so our Magi had a hard time dealing with him.

"Geez, you're all show and no ability, birdy wolf!" Judar spat.

"You're no Magi, Emiline," Hakuryuu said coldly.

Emiline twitched from the pretty boy's cold, yet sharp tongue.

"Do you think you're some sort of Solomon, Hakuryuu?" Emiline said.

"I never-"

"Oh sorry, why do they call you White Dragon again? More like Kusoryuu, Shit mouthed dragon," Emiline bitched.

Judar cackled from her little rage.

"Man, I think I already love you, 'Magi'," he laughed sarcastically.

"Maybe you should date him instead, gay boy,"a sly smile was on her face as she pointed at Hakuryuu, causing Judar to twitch in anger,"What with you wearing makeup and wearing that skimpy clothing,"

When Frank and I watched Emiline argue with someone one time, and she used a sort of retort that involved exploitation, Frank suddenly said "Shots Fired," Frank told me that it was only said when someone "disses" a person.

"Shots fired," I said.

Emiline looked at me and smiled, as if I was supporting her in a King Election. She stared back at the flamboyantly skimpy man.

"I bet if this was some sort of crappy anime or manga, a bunch of otaku girls would make pictures or stories of you two making love or something,"

Judar's evil red eyes twitched with anger, and he scraped his teeth.

"You're all talk aren't you?" he sneered before speaking further,"Why don't you just get into the moment? Let your fury allow you to find more words to cuss me with,"

"Flash Merra Rasas!"

A series of light orbs rained down on the Dark Magi and the evil King Vessel. Judar guarded with his borg, whereas Hakuryuu simply summoned creatures to absorb his damage. Now's my chance.

"Let's go, Lykos,"

My wolf barked and he hopped into the air. He shot a long whirlwind at Hakuryuu, which he guarded with creatures created from thin air.

"Altair Saiqa!" my orange katana surrounded itself in a tornado.

Lykos surged at Hakuryuu, who was busy guarding himself from the remaining light orbs. The eyes on the shield saw us and created another wall of flesh. I cleanly cut through them with my tornado coated blade. The acidic blood of the creature didn't touch my blade thanks to the wind spinning it around.

"Lykos!"

I stood up and hopped upward, with Lykos gliding downward. Airborne, I did a quick 360 spin and swung at Hakuryuu. When I swung my blade, the tornado that surrounded my sword transformed into a slicing wind, with the acidic blood in tow. The Kou Prince used his Magoi coated spear to slice through my wind slash, protecting it from the acid.

"Nice try, Ramses," he said coldly.

I looked at Emiline and we both nodded to each other. I threw my sword at him, and he simply dodged it with little movement.

"Fool, without your Metal Vessel, you can't be in Djinn-" While he spoke, I was already in front of him and kneed him in the gut. I was still in Djinn Equip though.

"Impossible! How?"

A few minutes ago.

Hakuryuu, in the early parts of the battle had an advantage.

Ramses and Hakuryuu were clashing each other's steel vigorously. Ramses seemed to have the upper hand, but Hakuryuu managed to do a reversal and shot acid at the wolf. The Heliohaptan teen felt like he was burnt by acid, even though his wolf was the one that was hurt.

He realized since we both share pain, it might be possible for us to share thoughts. Also, the reason why I was still equipped was because Lykos held his blade. Emiline helped out by using Light Magic to mess around with his eyes, causing him to believe I was still there. Lykos tightened the grip on the blade and cleanly cut through Hakuryuu's wooden arm. Hakuryuu winced in pain from the loss of his prosthetic arm. He couldn't focus his magic if he was momentarily stunned.

"Thalg Al Salos!"

I looked to my right and saw a series of large icicles flying toward us. I held Hakuryuu by his fancy necklace and tossed him downward, then I quickly hopped on Lykos and we both tried to fly away. An icicle hit my right arm, and my right arm froze. I grabbed my sword from my companion's mouth and we both flew away from the hail of icicles.

We continued to avoid the salvo of icy death. I looked back and saw the White Dragon, healing his arm, and healing his wounds through the power of Zagan. I sighed angrily. Every time I damaged him heavilly, he'd always recover. He also has a larger quantity of Magoi, so this is but a war of attrition. Only problem is, I'm running low, and I can't sustain my damage and Magoi for long.

Emiline's View.

Damn this skimpy man. It's like he was born using magic. Both of us had a series of Rukh gathering toward us.

"Geez, how does a weak person like you convince a bunch of Rukh to help you?" Judar ranted.

"How come they chose a gay guy as a Magi?" Emiline retorted.

All these gay jokes keep on ticking off Judar.

"I can't say the same for your robes," he spat back.

"Thank you," Emiline said.

"Grrr, I'll cut your tongue off," he brandished his wand and shouted,"Ramz Seisella!"

A large surge of lightning was shot toward me at an alarming speed. I though of a counter fast.

"Sharrar Borg!" My Borg turned into water, and I was inside of it, unharmed.

Noticing that this is just a projectile fight, I decided to zoom in close to Judar. He saw my approach and charged up a spell.

"Thalg Al Salos!" a series of large icicles was formed. He absorbed the water that surrounded me, leaving me defenseless.

"How foolish of you to charge into me with a water barrier!" Judar spat. Despite my defenseless state, I smiled mischievously.

"Flash Infigar!" I pointed my staff toward Judar's eyes and formed a large ball of light.

"Urk!" my left arm was impaled by an icicle. The ice caused the area around to freeze. The frost slowly consumed my arm with immobility.

The skimpy man flew toward me and did a dropping ax kick, spiking me down into the ground. I was falling helplessly to the ground. My heart beat fast as I was dropping down a horrifying height. Suddenly, my savior cushioned my fall. I looked down and saw my magic carpet. I breathed heavily from my near death experience, then I smiled from my magic carpet being there on time. I looked up and saw more ice spears being lobbed at me. I quickly formed a large water wall in front of me, which proved successful in blocking the ice attack. The water froze from the lances. I pushed it with strength magic towards Judar, only to be shattered by Hakuryuu.

Ramses flew beside me, riding on his wolf.

"These guys are too strong," Ramses said whilst panting.

Judar laughed as he heard Ramses's comment.

"Of course, you newbies! I've been training in magic all my life, and you're just an alien!"

I walked toward Ramses and whispered to him.

"Let's go to where Franklin is, I have an idea,"

My magic carpet flew to the CN Tower, with a Djinn equipped Ramses leading the way. I looked back and saw them pursue us.

"Cover your ears and look away from me Ramses!" I said. He nodded and covered his ears while looking forward.

"Sawteyah Qunbelah!" Replicating a stun grenade used by soldiers, I combined sound magic and light magic to create a magical flash bang. I produced a small orb and lobbed it at Judar and Hakuryuu.

"What's this?! A small-"

The bomb detonated, disorienting the two from the high pitch noise and sudden white flash. Due to their disorientation, they lost focus of their gravity magic and started to fall.

Ramses and I continued to fly toward the CN Tower replica. We were near the tower, and we already heard the sound of lightning and water clashing with each other. I started to have a worried look and hoped the Undead Marauder was okay.
