Chapter 10: The Last Samurai

Mugen's hand dug into his pocket and withdrew a large pouch of money he looted from Isamu. He flung it over to the ever stoic samurai as it clunked with change. Jin rolled his eyes at him. "What? He ain't gonna whine about losing a few ryo," Mugen held Fuu on his lap and playfully flicked her in the head. She rubbed her head, elbowing him. "Especially for Fuu"

She smiled, a beautiful smile that showed how grateful she was. She slipped her yukata off her shoulder and inspected her wound, she tried to move it slightly which made her wince slightly. She kissed Mugen's cheek lightly and said, "Thank you, I knew you'd be a good father"

She then rolled off his lap pulling up her sleeves and fell asleep on the bed roll her and Mugen shared. Mugen looked at her for a few minutes, slightly confused and embarrassed in front of Jin.

"How Fuu could think you'd be a suitable father for the child is quite debateable.." Jin's monotone voice grated Mugen's ears and made his eyebrow twitch.

"Whadd'ya say fish face?" He challenged.

"How Fuu's conclusion on you being a appropriate father is quite delusional" Jin closed his eyes and huffed. Mugen's forehead started to pound.

"I'm the kid's dad so I don't give a rat's ass if yo approve or not fish face" He hissed. "As long as girly wants me about, I'm stayin' whether ya like it or not. When Shino is knocked up by ya stupid ass then we can decide who's a better dad"

Mugen was raging, How could fuckin' four eyes say I won't be a good father, if Fuu believes it then fuck it, he should too! I told her I will stay an' he ain't gonna stop me lookin' afta my own.., he thought. Mugen huffed and calmed himself by looking at the sleeping figure next to him. He smiled to himself, how undisturbed, beautiful and pure she was. An angel that dragged him from hell. He didn't deserve her, he needed her and if putting his life on the line kept her happy then he was happy. Jeez, bitch made me all mushy...ew, He thought as he rolled over and finally settled to sleep.

Jin smiled, how Mugen had changed from when he first met him. At first Jin had Mugen summed up as a criminal who served for his own benefit, when they departed company Mugen had proved that he did care about his friends even if he didn't say it, he showed it. Jin remembered how angry Mugen had been when the grotesque creature claimed to have Fuu hostage, how Mugen had ran off within seconds and ended up nearly dead. How even at the start when Fuu was caught up in a brothel, he had left and ran back in the rain for her. Yes, Jin knew from the start that Mugen needed Fuu and that Jin was needed to keep them together till they realised how much they cared. He admired Mugen for staying with Fuu, normally parenthood would have scared him off but he'd grown a soft spot for Fuu. Finally... Jin closed his eyes as the trio drifted to sleep.

A burst of orange and pink rays irritated the eyes of the trio as the sun rose into the morning sky. Fuu groaned realising the task ahead of her today... the Doctors. She feared of what Mugen would do if she'd.. if what happened... She shook her head. She couldn't assume such an awful thing at this point. She just had to look forward and wait for it. She just wanted to roll over and sleep some more but Mugen was snoring next to her ear. Snoring really loudly... she nudged him in the chest with her bony elbow. The snoring did not stop. "Please stop snoring..." She begged and whimpered at his ear. He silenced for a second and she relaxed. The snores started again.

"Please for god's sake Mugen," Mugen had his heavy head on her chest now. "I can't breathe! Mugen seriously stahhhp!"

She grabbed his hair and yanked on it. "OW?!" Mugen groaned as he rolled on the floor as she continued to pull it.

Jin opened his eyes and immediately sighed. "God help me..." He muttered as got up. He stood patiently for a while, they were still getting tangled up together.

"Get off me bitc- oww?!" Mugen was trying to throw Fuu off of him but she kept pulling his hair. "WAT'S YOUR DEAL WOMAN?!"

"YOU NEVER STOP SNORING!" Fuu kept pulling his hair till he flipped them over, grabbing her face and kissing her. Her grip loosened and her hands caressed his scalp instead of ripping it apart.

Jin cleared his throat loudly. "Are you quite done? Please leave room for breakfast..."

Mugen looked over his shoulder at Jin. "Fuckin' cockblock.." He groped Fuu's breast and smirked.

"Hey, they are attached to me you know?!" She pushed him off and got up. "Don't just go grabbing stuff...jeez" She bent over and picked up her bed roll. Mugen smiled fiendishly.

He towered over her bent over body, he steadied his hand and WHACK! She squealed and started to punch Mugen and screeching at him for doing that!"WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT GRABBING STUFF?!"

"I smacked it, not grabbed but if you say so!" He shrugged, swinging his arm round her he grabbed her ass in his hands and squeezed. Fuu stood, her annoyance was unreal.

"MUGEN WILL YOU STOP GRABBING OR SMACKING MY ASS!?" Jin stood looking hopelessly at them as they slowly caught up again. He face palmed and tried to act like they were just two weirdos following him around.

Fuu wasn't looking forward to this. Time for the Doctor. They walked along the road and stopped in a few villages to ask where a doctor would be, after having some directions they walked off again. Why is this taking so long? Oh. Why couldn't this day go any faster? She thought. Before they knew it they were outside the doctors. She groaned.. Mugen made a move to follow her in.

"No Mugen, wait here.." I said sternly.

"Pfft like I give a rat's ass..." He tried to shove past her but she grabbed his sleeve.

"Please Mugen, I will tell you the truth when I come out," She put her pinky out and smiled, "I promise"

"You betta not lie!" He joked and took her pinky in his like he hated the thought of it. Jin stood beside him as they waited patiently.

Fuu went through the front door. "Erm hello?"

A doctor came out a door, wiping his hands with a cloth. He was smaller than Fuu and wore half moon glasses, a few wrinkles in his forehead and beside his eyes from smiling and laughter she guessed. "Ahh, how can I help you, young lady?"

"Well erm... I'm currently pregnant and I went out to get some groceries. I got ambushed by thieves and they beat me up pretty bad..." Fuu could feel her eyes brim slightly. "I just wanted to find out, you kno-"

"If your child is alright, of course. It's perfectly understandable!" He smiled and patted Fuu's hand. "Please follow me, young lady"

"Thank you, luckily my partner found me" He led here in separate room and sat her down on a linen bed.

"I'm glad to hear, where are all your injuries? Cuts, bruises all of them" He asked professionally.

"I have a slit in my shoulder that my friend tried to stitch up," He shrugged her sleeve off to have a look and nodded. "I think I have some bruises on my stomach but I haven't really checked..."

"That's alright, I'll clean up your shoulder first and then we'll sort out how your child is after. Okay?"

She nodded and he gently undid Jin's stitches. She didn't even feel it, Damn.. he's gentle, she thought. He kept her talking to distract her as he cleaned it and re-stitched her shoulder.

"All done, you can have them taken out in a few weeks but I advise you keep it clean and avoid straining it" He smiled.

"Thank you"

"Well, it's my job isn't it? Now to your child, you'll have to trust me" He saw her tense and patted her knee. "There's nothing to worry about, if you prefer I can get another doctor to be in the room if that's more comfortable?"

"It's okay, I can trust you" Fuu bent her knees slightly and took her yukata off so her bare skin and bindings were showing. Fuu lay back and relaxed, he stood at her side and put some cloth and a bowl of water next to him, he cleaned his hands quickly and smiled at her.

"My hands are a little cold so don't worry, I won't do anything that's unnecessary.." He got back to his work.

Thank god Mugen's not here or he would have strangled the Doctor by now .Especially since the Doctor was prodding around my womb. If I had no idea how children are conceived I would have told him to back off but luckily Mother told me she went through the same when she had me and what to expect when I had a kid one day. Thank god she told me! Fuu thought as the Doctor told her it was okay to put her yukata on now. Fuu sat up and the Doctor told her.

Fuu came out the door and silently went outside.. Mugen literally swooped on her when she appeared. Mugen held her face and looked in her eyes, waiting for an answer. "Come on baby wat did Doc say?" Mugen had no reply and started to panic, "Come on...ya killin' me chick!"

"I'm.. I had.." Fuu suddenly put her arms around Mugen's neck, "I'M STILL GOING TO BE A MOTHER!"

Mugen stood absolutely shocked, she was acting like his kid didn't survive but he kissed her forehead, slapping her forehead lightly. "Stupid chick"

"I'm glad to hear you're still with child" He said as he patted her shoulder like a true brother.

"Let's go meet Shino!" Fuu was excited, her child was healthy, she had Mugen. Jin had Shino and she wanted to get to know Shino from when they last saw her. She grabbed Mugen's hand and tugged him along with her and waved Jin to lead the way. "It is your journey after all!"

Jin nodded and led the way. Jin looked back every now and then to see Fuu and Mugen talking and laughing with each other.

Mugen had wondered if marrying Fuu was necessary so he asked.

"Oi, Fuu wat do ya think of marriage an' dat sorta stuff?" He brushed his knuckled across hers playfully.

"Have you lost your mind?" Fuu laughed, Mugen would only marry her because of the kid. No way would she let him force himself to marry her, he could marry her when he felt it was right. Oh god, he was going crazy, she couldn't control her laughter for a about a minute.

"Wait, wat?" Mugen thought she'd leap at the chance of marriage. He raised his eyebrow.

"You should see your face!" Fuu started to laugh even more, by this time Jin had turned around slightly concerned but dismissed it. "Seriously, I know you're only asking because I'm pregnant. I'm not going to let you marry me because you think it's necessary, only ask when you feel it's right!"

"Dayum, yo are amazin'!" He threw his fist into the air which made Fuu burst into laughter.

"I'm not even going to let you name this kid!" Fuu started to laugh even more.

"Aww come on! Dat's cruel even by my standards girly" Mugen didn't get her at times.

"Only because you'd name it something like 'Proof I got laid' or even worse 'Hottie-Magnet'" Mugen scratched his chin.

"True, I gotta rethink those names..."

"HEY!" Fuu hit him around the head. "Definitely not marrying you jerk!"

"Ya can't resist me girly, that's why ya havin' a kid with me!" Mugen smirked, "So my legacy of awesomeness would go on. Dayum yo are clever chick!"

"Hopefully, the kid won't inherit your ego..." Fuu mumbled.

"Wat did yo say?"

"Nothing!" Fuu said. Mugen picked her up and swung her around.

"SORRY, DIDN'T HEAR YA?!" Mugen heightened his voice.

"Hopefully the kid won't inherit your ego!" She squealed as he finally put her down.

"Ya love my ego!" He frowned playfully until she flicked his nose.

"Shut up, mushy" She laughed at his expression.

"I ain't mushy, yo so mushy an' lovey dovey. Ya gettin' us confused chick!" Mugen ruffled her hair and laughed.

"Pffft, you were the one who swooped on my ass when I walked out the doctors. Looking all concerned and like you may die!" Fuu laughed at his defeated expression. "WOO I WIN!"

"Shut up, do ya want me to tell Fishy Locks about our badass bed adventures?" Mugen said amusedly.

"NO, DON'T YOU DARE!" Mugen began to jog ahead of her as she ran after him. "NO, MUGEN. STOP NO! PLEASEEE!"

Mugen started calling out to Jin and waving him over. "OI, FISH FACE! LET'S HAVE A CATCH UP!"

Jin stopped looking at Mugen strangely. Catch up? We don't talk about personal things...I better keep walking, he thought as he turned and kept walking. He could hear Fuu screaming at Mugen to stop and get his 'ass' back there. Jin sighed.

"MUGEN, SERIOUSLY GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE OR I WILL FORBIDE STUFF?!" Fuu laughed. That made him turn back and ran up to her.

"Like wat?" Mugen asked curiously.

"Sex... all of it" Fuu said before walking past and letting him soak it in. Realisation in...3...2..

"Hey! Girly wait a sec!" Mugen finally ran up, "Guess Fish Face doesn't need to know?"

"Nope he does not!" Fuu punched his shoulder. She put her face in her hands, "I don't know why you told him in the first place?"

"Ya know, get a rise outta it. Don't be ashamed Fuu, he sticks 'bout cuz we hang.."

"Just admit we're all friends jeez.." Fuu said and laughed.

"Nahh uh..." He chuckled. They continued to walk with Jin.

Jin stopped and led them to a clearing in a forest. "We should camp and rise at first light"

"I'm beat anyway!" Fuu laughed, unrolling her bed roll with Mugen and sitting down next to him. Jin passed them some food as Fuu tucked in.

"Jeez, yo packin' it in. More 'han normal, pigggy" Mugen scoffed. Fuu glared whilst eating her food.

"I believe the phrase commonly used is that 'she's eating for two', Mugen" Jin pinched the bridge of his nose. Why do I travel with this idiot? Jin thought, May my training give me strength before I get a nose bleed.

"More like three!" Mugen laughed.

"DAMN IT ALL MUGEN!" She slammed her bowl over his head. Luckily it didn't shatter, just bruised his ego if anything.

He lay, rolling and clutching his head. Fuu sat next to him just glaring as she picked up his bowl and ate. Jin pinched his nose in frustration and groaned.

"If you'll excuse me I'm going to rest" Jin rolled out his bed roll and laid down. Stoic as ever, his breathing abnormally got quieter.

Fuu loosened her obi slightly, not wanting to embarrass Jin. Not that she trusted Mugen that much either. Something rough and itchy rested near her neck, Mugen. "Do you mind, scuff ball?" She smirked at him.

"Nope, never will" He rubbed his stubble against her neck till her skin was red.

"Don't you ever shave?"

"Nah. I could but fuck it, I ain't impressin' nobody" He snapped.

"You don't know how to, do you?"

"Shut up, girly" The reading, now this? Oh wow. Yep, that confirms it. Fuu thought.

"Let me" Fuu wanted to, she wanted to do something for him.

"Let ya do wat?" Mugen was getting agitated. Talking still wasn't his thing.

"Let me, shave your face" She smiled. Damn ass chick is gon' kill me one day. Mugen groaned mentally.

"Do ya even kno howda shave?" Mugen rolled his eye at her. Probably had no idea..

"I shave my legs dumbass" Pointing to her soft, pale legs.

"Thought cha all had no leg hair?" Mugen traced his fingers up her legs. Fuu slammed her hand against her forehead and groaned.

"I sometimes wonder why I'm even with you.." If I had a frying pan I would be slamming my head against it this moment, she thought.

"Coz I'm unnaturally charming and good looking?" Mugen raised an eyebrow and grinned.

"Don't forget your ego, dumbass. Unfortunately that's not why I'm with yo-"

"Coz I'm good in bed?" Mugen interrupted. Oh for goodness sake.. Fuu thought as he obviously had to guess that. Of course, raise your ego Mugen.

"No... It's be-"

"Coz I have badass hair?"

"What? No!" Fuu slammed her hands over his mouth before he could interrupt again. "I'm with you because.. because I love you. I've only just realised it..."

Fuu looked up to Mugen, his eyes wide and his body frozen. Oh god, he's going to run..I shouldn't have said anything! She thought.

Mugen took her hands away from his mouth and smirked. Leaning towards her so she could feel his hot breath on her skin as he looked at her. Fuu could see an unfamiliar emotion in his eyes... He kissed her lips lightly and breathed heavily.

"I'm with ya for da same reason... I- I" He struggled to get it out. Fuu pushed her fingers onto his lips to silence him.

"You don't have to say it..I know you do" Fuu was happy to be with him, she knew he loved her. He didn't have to say it. She removed her fingers and embraced him, her arms wrapping around his shoulders and he suddenly whispered.

"I love ya...Fuu"

*A few weeks later*

Mugen still replayed the moment he told Fuu he loved her. How she looked at him with shock, telling him how she thought he'd never say it and how she was okay with that. She was shocked and he could see that from how she kissed him that night.

Should be meetin' this Shino wench 'gain soon. Months ago, I'd laugh at da idea of fuckin' Fuu an' havin' a kid. Yet 'gain, girly changed dat. He thought.

Mugen looked down at the girl by his side, a few years ago she was fragile and young but she had changed the most out of the trio.

"We should be at our destination tomorrow" Jin stated stoic as usual.

Fuu held her stomach lightly and smiled. "It'll be great seeing Shino again"

The trio walked on, the sun shining onto their backs as the warmth soaked through. Dust flicking up as their shoes scuffed the path, Jin had told them that they were heading to the place they'd last seen Shino. The harbour.

They continued walking as they entered the town, old memories of the place sinking in their minds. "It hasn't changed at all since we were last here" Fuu muttered as she looked round at the shops and restaurants she worked in while they were trapped by the rain so many years ago. Mugen smirked remembering the beetle sumo battles he'd won whilst in this town whilst Jin just remembered how he met Shino on that bridge where she planned to drown.

He walked in the rain across the bridge, the patter of drops beating on his straw hat. A woman stared into the water below as he realised she planned to drown herself. He stopped. "Pardon me for intruding." Her face turned as her red umbrella revealed all of her. "This canal isn't as deep as it looks, if you'd like to drown yourself it would be wise to choose another location"

"Did it look to you like I'd do that? I was just lost in thought that's all" She seemed hesitate, like she was lying and not even shocked by the accusation. "What? You think I'm lying?"

She continued to mumble about how sad she must of looked..

Jin smiled at the recollection, he never realised how important she'd be to him when he left that town. He had no idea at all and yet he was nearer to her than before. It'd been three years.

They made it through the town when the afternoon came so they stopped for lunch. The trio sat around the fire and ate before the silence was broken. "Jin, what do you plan to do once you met with Shino?"

"Yea, what'cha gon' do?" Mugen mumbled with rice in his mouth.

"I believe Shino and I will find somewhere to settle" Jin was glad the two asked but he wondered what they'd do now they had each other.

After a few minutes Fuu went to freshen up, leaving the two men together. "Not sure ya noticed Four Eyes but we're bein' followed"

"I wondered when you would voice your notice" Jin looked up at Mugen, acknowledging that they were being followed. "I believe they'd been following us a while after we rescued Fuu from Isamu"

"Ideas on who the bastard is?"

"Either someone taking revenge for leaving Isamu in an unstable state or the government"

"What'cha mean the government?"

"Fuu was hunted on our last journey so the Government might have caught word that Fuu is alive and well but also with child. She's become more of a threat" Mugen suddenly understood, Bastards thought all of us were dead, they musta seen us but gettin' Fuu pregnant makes her a threat... Fuckin' high ass bastards.

"If things go ta shit, take girly with ya. I'll take 'em out and find ya, just make sure she'd safe Four Eyes or I will end ya"

"Understood" Jin looked up as Fuu appeared, she hadn't heard anything. "Let us go meet Shino before the afternoon ends"

"Good idea!" Fuu chirped as she walked along with Mugen. They walked out towards the harbour, Mugen could feel the presence of whoever was following them. It unnerved him so he kept Fuu by his side.

The harbour soon came into view, far into the horizon a small boat with a lone figure crept across the water in their direction. Jin went to the far edge of the dock, a slight smile grazed his lips whilst Fuu and Mugen stood on the hill together.

"Hey Mugen, look how happy Jin looks" Fuu smiled up at him through her eyelashes.

"Yea, Fish Face can actually smile" He chuckled and draped his arm over Fuu's shoulders. "A lot has changed since we were last here eh?" He ruffled her hair as she playfully slapped him away.

"It sure has, quit ruffling the hair already" She grasped her locks so Mugen couldn't touch them. "I'm not a kid"

"Used to be when I first met ya" He chuckled at her pouting expression.

"That was three years ago, so cut it out" She smiled and nudged him in the ribs.

The slosh of water came to their ears as they spotted the boat, it had crept closer and now it was clear. Shino was there looking for Jin at the dock. The small boat crept to a stop as Jin stood on the dock for a second and she on the boat, they stood just staring into each other's eyes for a moment.

"JUST GRAB THE CHICK ALREADY FISH LOCKS!" Mugen shouted from the small hill which him a glare from Jin. Fuu pushed her hands over his mouth and nervously laughed, "IGNORE HIM!"

Shino giggled behind her hand and waved at them before stepping onto the dock. She embraced Jin tightly and he placed his arms around her small frame. "I've waited so long for this moment...I can't thank you enough Jin" She looked up and kissed him. "I want to meet Fuu and Mugen properly this time"

She held his hand as he smiled. "Of course" He waved the battling couple over as they kept nudging each other and hissing insults at each other.

Shino was exactly how Fuu remembered her, creamy skin and raven hair. She was just as beautiful as she was three years ago. Shino came forth and embraced Fuu like a sister, "Thank you for looking after Jin," She leaned forward and whispered into Fuu's ear, "he tells me your like his sister and he's grateful to have you"

Fuu laughed at the kind comments and introduced Mugen who said a quick "Yo". They all stood for a while just talking when an arrow hit the ground next to Fuu.

"Shit" Mugen pushed Fuu behind him, unsheathing his sword as Jin pressed Shino to his side. A group of ten men approached them.

One stepped forward. "We'll only ask once so listen carefully. We have evidence that Fuu Kazumi is still alive and is with child. Bring her forward for execution or we'll take her by force"

Fuu trembled behind Mugen, Not again... this can't happen again. She thought.

"Well, ya bastards are gon' have to kill me before ya even get to my girl" Mugen turned to Fuu suddenly. "Go with Jin okay?"

"But Muge-"

"Go, I'll find ya!" He kissed her as her eyes began to tear up.

"Don't die okay? Don't die!" She backed away as the ten men approached Mugen. "DON'T DIE!" She shouted at him as her voice cracked.

"Have a little faith in me will ya?" He smirked and turned towards the ten opponents. He turned around once more to find Jin taking the woman down a path to another village. He'd go to them once he finished these punks.

He breathed out slightly. "Come on, ya pieces of shit!"

Ten men circled him. Their swords at a ready, glares being reflected on their faces. Mugen steadied himself, simply listening for who would attack first.

A whoosh sounded behind him as he swung his sword and met another. The clashing ringing in his ears as swung his legs three times but only the last swing managed to hit the first man in the ribs. Jeez these guys are nearly as fast as the bastard from the last journey. Mugen managed to slash the man across the chest, ducking down and bringing his sword up into the man's belly. The man gurgled as he fell, crimson blood running down his lips. Nine more. This time two came at him, dodged the first one's attack with his sword as he pushed his weight onto the dodge and slammed a kick into the other's jaw. Withdrawing his sword and slashing both in a spin. Seven more... He breathed slightly, staring the rest of them down. Who's next? he thought.

The six men backed off a bit, one of them shouting to something behind them. Two horses appeared, the archer who shot at Fuu and another person. He couldn't tell what gender they were, they're bodies heavily armoured and they're faces covered... Fuck, assassins. They always meant trouble. They both gracefully dropped from their horses, pushing away the six terrified men as they strode forward. They stood silent for a moment, the taller of the two made it clear that he was a man, his voice was rough like he needed to drink some water. "It seems that you are indeed the Ryukyun criminal that should be dead. Seems you need some force to your grave" He withdrew his sword as did his partner which was a woman as she finally spoke up.

"We are the Terror Twins after all, we never fail" Her voice seemed rather like her brother's, she need a drink.

Mugen smirked, challenging them. "I've killed betta"

The female Twin growled, quickly asking her brother "You want him first?"

"Yes, this one's too easy" The brother laughed as he steadied his sword and rushed at Mugen.

He swung as Mugen flipped backwards and sliced back, their swords crashing together as they both struggled to push against each other. Mugen pulled back, sending the male twin toward him as Mugen gave him a harsh kick to the jaw and quickly sliced his chest. The twin quickly recovered ducking down and slicing Mugen's shin as he cursed. The twin was suddenly behind him and sliced his back. Shit, he's nearly as fast as Sara... Mugen growled, quickly spinning and slamming his foot down on his opponents shoulder and then into his jaw again. He received an elbow in the stomach as the twin got up and attacked again. Mugen managed to dodge it by rolling and flipping himself back on his feet. Luckily he managed to block in time as the twin's sword clashed against his, the swords hovering mere inches from Mugen's neck. Mugen began to sweat as the twin hand suddenly found his chest and pushed him to the floor. Mugen coughed and looked down, the fuckin' bastard... he's got needles...

"I've just poisoned you... it'll make your vision blurry within a few seconds. Have fun trying to kill me"

Mugen growled as the twin tried slashing at his neck again when he was still on the floor. Mugen blocked with his geta, suddenly realising his sword was on the floor behind the twin. Mugen swung his arm towards the guy's neck as the twin blocked his arm.

"Tut, tut, you can't even hit me without failing" He grinned.

"I wasn't gonna hit ya, I stabbed ya.." The twin throated backing away as he dislodged Mugen's tanto from his neck. He coughed as blood rushed down his neck like a waterfall. Mugen took his chance, running up grabbing his sword and chopping the twin's head off.

The female screamed, "YOU BASTARD!" Mugen almost forgot she was there. She sent an arrow into his back, Mugen's eyes widened as he coughed. The damn poison was making him slow... he would have blocked it normally. He turned as another lodged itself in his chest.

He couldn't see she properly but as she ran at him, he braced himself. Dis can't be my last day.. I gotta live for Fuu...I gotta live, He thought. She swung at him and he blocked, desperate to survive as he advanced. His vision blurred every few seconds as she attacks against him became more and more violent, he kept blocking and attacking back until his vision was completely blurred. He swung his sword around him, not hitting anything. He blinked his eyes in frustration, they always had to cheat with poisons and other fatal weapons. His back ached as did his chest, he blinked again as he was suddenly thrown to the ground. He tried getting up but was hit with a hilt of a sword to the jaw. He taste the blood in his mouth, the familiar taste of copper in his mouth...he swung his sword, feeling it meet a satisfying limb as the female twin shrieked in pain. Screaming that he'd cut off her finger. She growled near him and he rolled away as the sound of a sword thudding down avoided him. Another arrow hit his stomach as he winced and fell to his knees, his sight had completely gone. He grabbed his stomach, feeling the wet blood on his hands. The pain rattling his body that he didn't notice the female twin there till her sword pierced his chest. His eyes widened as he cried out.

"You can bleed to death like my brother, you filthy swine!" Mugen lunged forward at the sound of her voice and slashed open her chest. She landed with a thud, he turned towards the direction of gasps.

"Ya can go back to ya masters and save ya asses by sayin' yo succeeded. Now go before I kill ya all!" He heard their panicked running thumping like his heart in his ears. He finally fell back to his knees as his breathing turned to a wheeze.

"I gotta find Fuu..." He tried standing but stumbled so used his sword like a cane, he continued to limp along the path. His movements just rattled pain through his body as he continued to cough and wheeze. "I gotta find Fuu..."

He collapsed again. Falling forward as the pain overcame him. So dis is how I'm gonna die...face down in da dirt like a true criminal...I'm sorry Fuu. I can't find ya

His world fell apart as the crowmen stood over hi, staring in sinister silence. I can't leave Fuu...not yet...
