Yellow Future

Rin is a time traveler from the future. Len is a boy from his present, her past. To complete her training Rin has travel back in time and complete the task she was assigned. Many things go wrong. Little does she know Len has the same dream as her task. To complete it, she needs his help. If she fails to complete it, she will be sent to the ultimate past, the place everyone fears.

11. Chapter 10

Hey everyone! Sorry this is so late. Last year (haha) was so crazy! I've had so many tests and quizzes that it's been hard to update. Especially this story. Urg at least the plot gets rolling these next few chapters. :D

So enjoy chapter 10!

Rin's POV

I looked at Neru with my eyes wide open.

"Neru this isn't true is it?" I asked walking towards her.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" she shrieked. Then she pulled out her phone as called someone.

"Master, Rin has found out me. Should we abort the mission or continue our plans." Silence. "Alright." She hung up and put the phone in her pocket. "Rin, watch your back." Then she ran out the door and into the night.

Miku and I glanced at each other. "Come on Rin let's go back to the others." I nodded and we headed to the living room.

Miku's POV

'No…..no….. this can't be happening. What does she want with Rin? Sure we aren't that good of friends right now but…. You can't blame me. It hasn't happened yet, the cause of my anger, but it will soon. Rin…..why? Why must you take everything from me? Can't I take something from you for once? I still really love you but it's confusing. It's so confusing. What's wrong with me?'

I looked at Rin walking in front of me. 'If only you knew… if only. Then maybe, maybe we'd have a chance….'

We got back into the room and the movie was still playing.

"Where's Neru?" Gumi asked.

"She got cramps and went home." I replied grabbing some popcorn. Eventually the movie ended.

"Wanna do karaoke?" Miki said. Everyone agreed and we pulled out the machine.

"Why am I on the machine Gumi?" I asked her.

"Oh it's a special addition Vocaloid one that only has Vocaloid songs on it. You can hook it up to a computer and download more songs if you want to though."

Teto went first and sang, "Stargazer." Gumi sang "Love is War." Miki "Top Secret." Then Rin sang "Love Words." When it was my turn I scrolled through the machine. Most of the songs were my own songs. Some recent some old. I decided to sing an old one I haven't done in a while called "from Y to Y." I loved singing this and performing it.

I took a deep breath and started singing:

I love this song. It just makes me feel so serene and calm. I looked at my score on the machine.

Congratulations you got a score of 100! Great job!

I smiled softly. "Anyone else want to sing another song?" Everyone shook their head no.

"Let's go to bed." Miki suggested.

~Next Morning~

We were at the headquarters again practicing dance moves for the next concert. I was practicing for "Electric Angel." Rin and Len were doing "Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder."

Today was that day.

I saw Len approach Rin and ask her if she wanted to go to the park. She said yes and they walked out hand in hand.

'Don't cry Miku. It's not worth your tears.'

I looked out the practice room window and up at the bright blue sky.

'She should be arriving soon.'

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this chapter's done. Huh so now we know that Miku still secretly loves Rin. (as a friend sowwy MikuxRin fans)
