A/N: Hello everyone, since I had extra time I decided to post this chapter. I will post another either Friday or Saturday.
Hello Anibella, Whether or not Vladimir is telling the truth will not be discussed in this chapter.
-SaraTheAngelic- Yes, I had to drop another cliffhanger. You make very good points. And I will not answer or discuss them in this chapter. I'm glad you saw Midna's punishment adequent.
Midna looked at the plume of smoke that floated from the crumbled ruins of the courthouse. Her stomach dropped at the sight. She quickly grabbed her weapon hoping that Rahzel was safe. She turned from the window and ran out of the door.
A wall of fire sprung from the ground, stopping the Twili mid-step. She reacted quickly, turning completely around raising her sword in time to stop a projectile that was aimed at her. "Very good, my Lady," a voice called from the shadows.
"Zant?" Midna called out recognizing the voice. The said Twili stepped out of the shadows shrugging his shoulders.
"Midna, I do not wish to harm you," the Twili said raising his hands in a calming manner. "I'll even give you a choice. A choice for all of the so-called nobles: surrender or die. Oh yes, it is time to choose life or death."
Midna narrowed her eyes at the Twili, "Even with your thick skull you must know my answer."
Zant chuckled, "Then you better prepare yourself, my Lady."

Rahzel pushed Vladimir off of her. In one swift movement, she pulled her dagger from her boot and stabbed the blade through both of the demon's hands effectively pinning him to the ground. The former advisor looked shocked up at the woman. Before he could say a single word, Rahzel rammed the hilt of her sword to the back of his head to knock him out.
Now feeling safe, Rahzel looked at the damage that was caused. The strong stone walls of the courthouse were now piles of rubble. Her blood ran chill. Ghirahim was somewhere in this mess of rubble, probably getting crushed. She picked herself from the ground. She climbed over the jagged rubble that were once the walls of the cell. She ran as fast as she could over the uneven ground, calling out to Ghirahim. She hoped that he could hear her, that he would answer back. She called out till she could feel her throat become raw.
She fell to her knees. "Please, Ghirahim. Where are you?" she sighed. The woman put her hands to her face tears starting to fall from her eyes. She ran her fist over her eyes wiping away the tears. In the corner of her vision, she could see something fluttering. She turned to the movement. A red piece of fabric was waving slowly in the wind. Rahzel recognized it as Ghirahim's cape. She stumbled to her feet and ran to the piece of fabric.
The noble was no where to be seen, so she began to pull at the large boulders that trapped the fabric. She tossed them to the side. They pierced her hands, but she didn't feel the pain. She just felt the panic that threatened to choke her. Her hands met Ghirahim's white hair and she practically screamed. She ran her fingers through his pale locks before removing the rest of the rubble that buried him. She wrapped her arms under his arms and pulled him so he was laying flat on the ground. "Ghira, wake up," she called gently shaking him. Her heart stopped when he didn't respond. She laid her head to his chest and closed her eyes. A soft thump helped her released a breath of nervousness. Rahzel raised herself off of the noble.
"Aww, isn't that sweet," a smug female voice. Rahzel looked up from Ghirahim. The female demon that Rahzel knew as Veran stood with her hands on her hips next to the demon known as Yuga. "Don't you agree Yuga?"
The other demon shrugged his shoulders, "These filthy worms are not worth my time or consideration."
Rahzel stood slowly, reaching for her sword. "Funny, we're filth and yet you still mimic Ghirahim," the woman said smugly. Yuga narrowed his eyes at the woman while Veran snickered.
Rahzel watched as the red-head demon swung his golden scepter sending a ball of energy toward the albino. She swung at the ball sending the ball of energy back at the two. The two usurpers split letting the attack to fall in between them. Veran summoned a large spear stepping in front of Yuga. Rahzel noticed the strategy that the pair would use. Yuga would used his magic to wear her defenses while Veran would attack from a distance with her spear.
The woman bit her bottom lip as Veran struck. The steel of her blade collided with the metal handle of the she-demon's spear. Rahzel twisted the hilt of her sword catching Veran's spear with the cross guard of her sword. The woman quickly spun her sword pushing Veran into the path of Yuga's magic attack. The Yuga dispelled the spell before the ball of energy hit his comrade's unprotected back.
Rahzel sidestepped hoping to draw the fight toward herself and away from the defenseless Ghirahim. Veran followed the woman spinning her spear in her hand. Yuga sent another ball of energy at Rahzel who backflipped dodging the attack and getting space between herself and Veran.
This pattern lasted for a while till Rahzel was panting. Neither the Hylians or the traitors managed to land a blow, but the battle was becoming taxing on the Hylian. "This is taking too long," came Yuga's furious shout. Rahzel looked to the source and her eyes widen when a group of bright throwing knives came flying her way. She spun her sword trying to catch all of the flying projectiles. The metal of the flying blades clanked as they met her blade. The projectiles flew in many different directions and Rahzel gasped as Veran had slipped her spear into the Hylian's side.
Rahzel spun to face Veran putting distance between them by taking a couple of steps back. The Hylian shifted her stance so now she was holding her sword with both hands. Keeping her eyes on Veran, Rahzel leaped to the last place she had seen Yuga. The distraction worked and Rahzel's blade met Yuga's cape and the material tugged at his throat causing him to fall flat on the ground. The Hylian smirked confidently before an unseen force flung her across the field of rubble. The jagged ground bit into her side as she rolled and bounced against the ground.
The Hylian gasped in pain as she stopped. She pushed herself to her feet and looked for her weapon which had fell out of her hands when she was tumbling. Fear chilled her blood when she caught sight of the sword; it was behind the pair of attackers. Rahzel looked from one demon to the other cringing at the blood-thirsty gleam they had in their eyes. She held up her fists hesitantly.

Ghirahim groaned at the splitting headache that was melting his brain. He opened his brown eyes slowly. He was lying on his back looking up at he bright blue sky. He tried to remember what had happened. He was heading to see Vladimir in his cell when the walls imploded. This thought reminded the noble that there could still be danger nearby. The noble tried to sit up and was shocked when his body wouldn't respond. Ghirahim snarled and tried to pick himself off the ground again, but once again he couldn't move. Ghirahim looked quickly around himself looking for a source of danger.
He could hear laughter; cold and heartless. The noble turned his head to the source of the sound. There was two demons both of whom he recognized. Yuga and Veran if he was correct, but their identities wasn't his main concern. The noble watched as the two tossed around a figure. Ghirahim growled when he saw the figure's silver hair knowing that it was Rahzel. The pair tossed her in his direction where she tumbled before stopping ten feet from him.
She pushed herself to her knees her hair curtaining her face. She flipped the locks from her face. Her eyes shifted to him and when they met his, she smiled. She held out her hand palm up. Ghirahim nodded in agreement quickly shifting into his sword form.
His world became dark like it normally did when he retreated into the sword. The noble could feel the blade fly through the air to be stopped when warm fingers wrapped themselves around the hilt. It relieved the noble to sense Rahzel's mind near his. "You scared me, Ghirahim," the woman telepathically sighed.
"Are you alright?" Ghirahim asked more concerned about her physical well-being.
"I've been better," came the response. Ghirahim didn't respond, but could sense the exhaustion behind the words. The sword spirit could feel the sword collide with another object.
"It would be wise to retreat, Rahzel. We can't defeat both of them in our condition," Ghirahim suggested reluctantly.
"I have already tried to teleport away from them, but they just followed me. Don't worry I have an idea," Rahzel responded.

Rahzel knew that her plan was risky. She was going to use the only advantage she had. She never used her gift of foresight in a battle; it was a warning mechanism. The albino gave herself and her enemies some space. She took a deep breath which flared pain through her side due to her undoubtedly cracked or bruised ribs.
She closed her eyes and tried to focus on the future. Sure enough the battle was painted behind her eyelids. She watched Yuga sending a spell to her while Veran tried to sneak behind her. Keeping her eyes shut, Rahzel jumped backwards flipping slowly. She held out her hands to the ground as she flipped. Her hands met Veran's armored shoulders. Rahzel pushed the she-demon toward the direction she knew that Yuga sent his spell.
The Hylian grinned as she heard a shout from the she-demon. She landed softly on her feet. "what was that?" Ghirahim asked shocked.
"That is the plan Ghirahim," Rahzel answered. "We both can use magic and both are skilled in our respective weapons. The only advantage I have is my foresight."
"So you are going to fight blind?" Ghirahim asked clearly upset.
"No I can see. Just not the present," Rahzel said smartly back dodging an attack from Veran. The woman felt the breeze that followed the attack. Rahzel opened her eyes to see the she-demon stumble and used this moment of unbalance to relieve the woman of her head.
"I'll admit that was impressive," Ghirahim's voice said reluctantly. Rahzel smiled at his tone. "So how do you plan to dispatch Yuga?"
"I thought I'll let you decide," Rahzel answered. She dodged a blue energy ball. The noble became quiet, undoubtedly thinking of an adequate punishment. Something warm struck Rahzel's back knocking her forward onto her knees. Electricity ran through her nerves and she grit her teeth to keep from shouting out.
"Keep your distance, Rahzel," Ghirahim advised. The woman pushed herself to her feet just to fall back to her knees as her muscles burned as if they were on fire. She cursed softly. "That isn't proper language for a lady, Rahzel."
"Not now, Ghirahim," she warned him. The albino could feel her adrenaline wear thin and all the injuries that she suffered were now announcing their presence. Her breath was ragged and her muscles twitching.
"I would commend you, Rahzel. You managed to keep up with both me and Veran, but sadly this is when your life ends," Yuga taunted.
Rahzel lifted her gaze to the gloating demon. Gathering her strength, Rahzel stood back up. She knew that she had at most five minutes before she passed out due to her injuries. "Must your thoughts be so dim?" Ghirahim asked interrupting her calculations.
"I forgot that you were in my head as well. I will try to think of ponies and rainbows if it will please you," Rahzel said quickly back. She used the sword in her hand to bounce Yuga's spell back at him.
"You know that actually hurts," Ghirahim commented helpfully. Rahzel made a point to use the blade to dispel another spell.
The noble didn't say anything, but Rahzel could feel the mixture of annoyance and amusement that radiated from the other. She quickly changed tactics when Yuga sent bolts of lightning her way. The Hylian would snap her fingers and appear behind the demon, but Yuga was quick and would meet her sword with his staff every time. "Here use this spell," Ghirahim spoke up suddenly almost causing Rahzel to get hit with Yuga's staff.
The words for the spell ran through her mind as Ghirahim spoke them. None of them were understandable, so she focused on the way the sounds collected. Once she was sure that she got the pattern down, Rahzel begun to mummer the words. Yuga looked shocked and begun looking for an exit, but it was too late the spell was cast. A beam of light glowed around him and when the light dimmed all that remained was a frame painting. Rahzel cleared the pressure that had built up in her chest from using so much magic. She coughed roughly into her hand and pulled it away to find blood coating her fingers. "Sorry, I forgot that you can't use magic without a price," Ghirahim apologized sincerely. Rahzel nodded her head hoping that he could sense her forgiveness as she walked to the framed painting.
In the painting was Yuga looking frantic as his hands were pressed on either side of the frame. "You should burn it now," Ghirahim said. Rahzel stabbed the sword into the ground
"I don't want to sound rude Ghirahim, but I don't think I can," she said out loud sitting herself on the ground beside the blade. "I think I may need to rest for a while," she said as her eyelids became heavier and heavier. The sword beside her glowed red, but if he said anything Rahzel couldn't hear it as her eyes fell shut.
