I'm back baby, yeah! *cricket sounds* I was gone THAT long wasn't I? *goes through stories* May 30, 2013?! Man, that's long...Um...sorry? Anyway, thanks to you guys because you never gave up on me! I wanna hug you all right now if only you were here! Anyway, go enjoy the story, because if I told you the reason I updated late, I might take up the whole story...
Disclaimer: I do not, in any way possible, own Super Paper Mario nor its characters. I can just take pride in Sapphire. *grins cheekily*
"I don't know about this O'Chunks..." Nastasia said wearily, constantly glancing back at the door to see if the Count ever comes back. O'Chunks though, was more care-free and giddy than ever.
"Aw, Nassie, show some more excitement!" He said, chuckling to himself. Nastasia sighed.
"I would if we, um, planned on pranking someone else..."
"Nonsense lass, yer jus' bein' jumpy!"
Nastasia sighed, giving in. There was no talking O'Chunks out of this one. She instead walked over and sat next to him. She glanced at the many clothes of Lord Blumiere (As Lady Timpani insists he be called) that O'Chunks recklessly covered with itching powder. O'Chunks grabbed another cape from the large pile next to him and put some powder on it—while still holding the cape. She frowned. If he kept up that act, he'll eventually end up getting itching powder on himself.
"O'Chunks, keep that up and you'll get some itching powder on yourself." She advised. No response. Nastasia rolled her eyes. "Here, let me, um, try." She said, gently taking the powder off of his hands. O'Chunks looked surprised, but let her take it.
"See, you should, um, lay it down first then put some powder, 'kay?" She explained, doing so. She flinched when she felt a sudden sting on her hand. With a gasp, she discovered it was the effect of the itching powder. She grimaced. It really did itch! O'Chunks noticed her expression and frowned, a thoughtful look on his face.
"Ye din't happen teh get some powder on yerself, did ye?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed. Nastasia nodded slightly.
"I don't understand though. You most likely have had more, um, contact than I had with the powder...Why aren't you, um, itching?" She asked, confused. O'Chunks shrugged.
"Mus' be me tuff skin." He said. Nastasia glanced at the floor awkwardly.
"Oh...right." She muttered. They both sat together in awkward silence, before Nastasia finally said, "Well, I should probably, um, get some itching cream..."
"Yeah, I'll jus' keep puttin' some powder on teh Count's clothes..."
"Um, right, so..." Nastasia said, getting up. "You'll be, um, okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine!" He answered, to quickly for his taste. Nastasia didn't seem to mind. Once she was out of the room, O'Chunks sighed. Something told him that working with Nassie was going to take some time getting used to.
Sapphire and Mimi quietly crept up to Mr. L's room, carrying a box filled with Luigi's various over-alls. Mimi creaked the door open slightly to see if anyone was inside. Once she gave the all-clear to Sapphire, they both stalked inside the room, making sure to make as little noise as possible.
"And where do you think you're going?" Sapphire and Mimi stopped dead in their tracks. Sapphire silently cursed as she slowly turned around, seeing an annoyed Mr. L with his arms crossed.
"Dimentio said you were nowhere near your room!" She exclaimed accusingly, throwing the box of clothes on the ground. The Green Thunder raised an eyebrow at it, disgusted.
"Luigi's disgusting over-alls, really?!" He said. Sapphire rolled her eyes. You wear disgusting over-alls too, you know. She wanted to say, but thought better of it. "I'm glad I caught you two before you put those things in my room. What were you going to do with my clothes anyway? Throw them over the cliff?"
"Burn them in a furnace, actually." Mimi muttered. Mr. L clucked his tongue.
"You should be ashamed of yourselves—"
"Yeah, 'kay mom." Sapphire said sarcastically. Mr. L smirked, the complete opposite reaction that Sapphire wanted.
"The jig is up, Sapph." He said, his smirk wiped clean off his face, replaced by a grimace. He pointed an accusing finger at her. "'Fess up. You did the water balloon prank, didn't you?" Sapphire and Mr. L were so engrossed with the conversation that they didn't notice that Mimi slipped away.
"Oh, so that's what this is all about!" Sapphire said. It was her turn to smirk. "Man, you never let those kinds of things go, do you?" She snickered at Mr. L's unamused expression.
"I'm not joking, Sapphire." He growled, his fist slowly sparking electricity. Sapphire widened her eyes and put her hands up as a sign of defense.
"No need to get violent, L. You seriously wouldn't hit a girl would you?" She asked. "Besides, in all honesty, I didn't do any pranks to you today...Well, I was planning to but you obviously got in the way of that, didn't you?" Mr. L's gaze softened as the sparks of electricity in his hand went away.
"So...you really didn't do the water balloon prank?" He clarified. Sapphire sighed, exasperated.
"For the last freaking time, no." She answered. Mr. L slumped. Sapphire looked one-hundred percent honest...but if she didn't do that prank, then who did?
"Anyway, good luck with tracking that mysterious pranker." Sapphire concluded, turning around. "C'mon Mimi—" Sapphire blinked, only now noticing that her little green companion had disappeared. "Where'd she—" She was interrupted by a very loud and shrill scream.
"That must be your answer." Mr. L answered, before the two raced toward the sound of the scream—outside the girls' bathroom. The little shape-shifting girl was screaming her head off, and Mr. L noticed that she also got the attention of his crazy purple jester friend. He smirked. Looks like my 50-trap prank has taken its toll on the poor guy. He thought. It was only icing on the sweet revenge cake that Dimentio was just as annoyed as he was with Mimi's screaming.
"Woah, hey, Mimi, quiet down!" Sapphire said, desperately attempting to get Mimi's attention. Mimi grasped Sapphire's shoulders, surprising the water bearer. Mimi was stronger than she thought.
"WHOEVER DID THIS IS GOING TO DIE." She shouted at Sapphire's face.
"What happened, exactly?" She asked, somewhat relieved that she was at least going somewhere.
"This!" Mimi replied. Thankfully, she lowered the volume of her voice. Mimi pointed to her teeth, which was now a grayish color. Sapphire cringed at the sight.
"Your teeth is gray?" She asked, surprised. Mimi shook her head furiously.
"It's cadet blue!" She exclaimed, to which Sapphire raised an eyebrow. It didn't seem to have a difference to her. "Anyway, that's not important! My beautiful pearly whites have been turned into disgusting cadet blue ones!" Dimentio inspected her teeth carefully. Then snapped his fingers when he realized what caused it.
"Might I ask, my dear Mimi, what was the last thing you have done?" He asked. Mimi gave Dimentio her toothbrush and paste.
"I brushed my teeth, duh." She replied. Dimentio ignored her statement and got a sample of toothpaste and rubbed it against his gloved hands. He snapped his fingers and a cup of water appeared next to him. He used it to wash away the toothpaste, but even after it was washed away, a gray spot was left on his gloves.
"Ah, just as I suspected." He muttered. His three companions were all staring at the gray spot with curiosity.
"...So that's what caused Mimi's teeth to change color." Mr. L mused. "It was mixed in wth gray dye—"
"Cadet Blue."
"Whatever."
Mimi's ear puffed out smoke in anger. She screamed, "ALRIGHT, WHO DYED MY TEETH?!" transforming into her spider form. Dimentio's eye twitched, while Sapphire screamed in surprise. Mr. L looked ready to throw up.
"SOMEONE'S GOING TO PAY TONIGHT!" Then she crawled off to who knows where. The two boys shook their heads slowly. Sapphire just stood still, eyes wide with fear.
"D-did she just—"
"Yup."
"A-and spider—"
"Uh-huh." Sapphire shuddered, still not exactly processing what she just saw.
"I-I...I didn't know Mimi could do that!" She exclaimed, turning to her two companions. "Did you know?"
"Unfortunately, yes." Dimentio replied, disgusted. "She is very creepy when she does that."
"Yeah, and you'd know things are down-right scary if Dimentio is creeped out by it." Mr. L added. Sapphire shook her head.
"It's gonna take a long while to get that out of my memory."
Sapphire yawned as she trudged to her bed, absolutely tired. This day had been amazingly crazy, so it was natural that she was beat down. She laid in bed, instantly falling asleep. Her dreams were all about Spider-Mimis chasing her down around Castle Bleck. Little did she know that a mysterious figure was placing things around her room...
...And it was sure to give her the surprise of her life the next day.
Hope that was what you guys wanted. ^_^ I'm honestly doing my best to write all the reviewers' ideas for pranks as much as I can, but do not, and I mean DO NOT get offended when I don't use the prank. Whether I have trouble writing it down, I'm gonna write in the future, or I just forget about it. I know, there aren't that many ideas given to me, but I'm a very forgetful person, as I've said about a million times already.
Anyway, if you're wondering about the dates and time in this story, well, don't, because I don't really know too. I guess I'll just stop the pranking month when I feel like it. :P Yes, I know, I am a very great writer. Anyway, if it's not too much to ask, please review!
