Sorry for the very long wait everyone, but I lost the will to write for a while, but now I'm back! Hopefully for longer!

Oh and I have a new perspective, since Hunter J can't have all of the spotlight

J: What are you talking about?

Mrusset: We can't give you a big head

J: (glare)

Mrusset: You're not even mentioned this part.

J: (glare) I should beam you

Mrusset: Harsh, I'll get the spirits of the lake then.

J: (glare) you wouldn't dare

Mrusset (smile) what do you think?

J: ...

Mrusset: thought so, Enjoy everyone!

Virdian Gym

Mumbling under my breath I was beyond mad, and I Green Oak normally didn't get mad that easily. No one knew where my son was, and all that was left as a clue was his Umbreon which he would never leave behind no matter what. One because Umbreon wouldn't leave Gary and two Gary would never leave his most trusted Pokemon behind. So where in the name of Arceus was my son?!

Rubbing my hands through my hair, I was frustrated, my visit to my father and my daughter was supposed to be a nice and easy day, but instead I was dragged into a missing person case of my son when his Umbreon came running into the lab at a break-neck pace and was clawing at my dad's lab coat trying to drag him out the door. I turned to the wall pounding my fist into it hoping to let go of all of the tension and frustration that was building up. The pain taking away the feeling of hopelessness that was building up inside of just not knowing. Walking into the gym I couldn't stand the tears the humiliating questions the reporters were shouting at my daughter, but it would do no good to go out there and drag her away from them. She cared more about Gary than almost anyone else, and some reporters making her cry wouldn't break her.

Stepping into the middle of the gym, I felt that something was off as I looked around the place. The police might've been in here already and searched high and low for things to be different and not found a single thing saying Gary was forced out of here. A tingling sense in my mind was telling me that he hadn't gone on his own free will though. Umbreon was still here along with everything else he would've taken along with him if he was leaving to go to Mount Moon or go out and do some Pokemon research.

Walking over to the door that led to the back quarters of the gym, I tapped once letting the door slide open hoping that there would be something that would catch my eye and tell me where my only son was. Allowing myself in, the door shut behind me darkness settling in. Grabbing at a pokeball on my belt I threw it. "Porygon-Z come out." I commanded, one of my most powerful but smaller Pokemon revealing itself as I switched the light switch on uncloaking the cleanliness of the living quarters that thoroughly surprised me. Compared to my father and I at least.

Stepping up to the table that was in living room, I guessed from the couch and little T.V. on a stand. There was unopened mail scattered around, some from fans, a couple from Daisy and two envelopes from two very interesting people. Picking them up, I ripped open the first letter not caring if Gary yelled at me later for opening up his mail. Grabbing the letter out from Ash Ketchum, Gary's biggest rival/friend, I scanned the letter quickly getting out of it that Ash was on his way back home from training in Sinnoh and was wanting to meet up with Gary in Pallet Town next weekend. I threw the letter back onto the coffee table wondering why he was in Sinnoh training when there was perfect places around here that would've been great for training. Blocking it from my mind for the moment through, I took up the next letter of interest.

It was from the Pokemon League which caught my eye because the Pokemon League didn't send out mail very often, but when it did, there was a good meaning behind it. Taking the letter out I started scanning it, shocked at what I was reading.

Dear Gary Oak,

The Pokemon League is requesting your presence at Cinnabar Island for the Grand Opening of the Gym on July 16. This is not asking, it is a mandatory meeting for all, for there'll be a meeting after the opening of the gym for all gym leaders of Johto, Kanto and all Elite Four members to discuss the increased movements of Team Rocket in the area.

Sincerely,

Emerald, Director of the Pokemon League

I blinked feeling blood rush to my face, anger bubbling up from within. "Arceus Dammit!" I yelled throwing the letter onto the table, stalking away. That letter wasn't even opened and today was the 16th of July! I slammed my fist into the nearest thing possible, the wall. I took my frustration for my son out, wailing on it with all of might till I couldn't yell or pound the wall anymore.

Sliding down the ground, I put my head into my knees, I might not be a little kid anymore, but there was only so much frustration and pain you can take out on yourself and the objects around you till you just want to make it all end.

"Pory?" I looked up as Porygon-Z looked up at me quizzically. I sighed, rubbing his head.

"Sorry about the Porygon-Z, sometimes I feel like I'm looking at a younger version of myself when I look at Gary, and I feel like my father had to feel when I forgot something important like mail." Porygon-Z just nuzzled into my hand, which brought a smile to my face. Letting go of breath, I hauled myself up from the ground, Gary wouldn't be found if was just sitting here on my butt. So walking out the gym, I went straight up to my father and daughter as they stood there in front of the gym, the reporters gone from sight.

"Green, where have you been?" Samuel Oak, my father asked as I approached. I only shrugged.

"Looked inside the gym for a bit. Did you know that the Cinnabar Island Gym was being opened up again today?" I asked. He nodded. "Damn," I mumbled under my breath. "Why can't he actually do what he's supposed to for once?"

My dad chuckled, "You're the same way Green, impulsive, independent, and above all else extremely loyal to your family and friends." I only glared knowing that it was true, but wishing that it wasn't. "Oh, and someone you know is here." I blinked at my father.

"Who?" I asked.

"Green next time you plan to make a visit to Viridian City, you've gotta tell me, otherwise how else will I be able to see you?" I shook my head turning around quickly and staring at the one person I hadn't seen in quite a long time.

"Hi, Blue, long time no see."

Thanks for reading and most of all thanks for continuing to follow this book through the extremely long update times.
