A/N: *sigh* I intended to post this yesterday, but so many things got in the way. Anyways, this is not the last chapter, so don't worry.

-Anibella- I can say that this fic will not have a sad ending. Or at least I don't think it is sad.

Link batted the demons away they would jump back and attack again. He tried to look over the mass of bodies. "Leave him to me," a cold, sharp voice said in a low tone that hampered no room for disagreement. The demons stepped back revealing Rahzel with her red blade in one hand and in the other a black sword that the Twili was holding. The once sure stance that the woman had was lost. The hero looked at how both blades shook in her unsteady hands.

He looked into her eyes trying to see her state of mind. The red orbs glared daggers into his eyes. He took a small step back as she walked to him. It was instinctual and he couldn't pinpoint the source of his sudden uneasiness around the woman. He should remain calm; she hadn't been in her top fighting form and he could take advantage of this fact. Perhaps it was the absolutely murderous look she gave him.

The hero blocked the swift attack with his blade and brought up his shield as the woman's second sword rang against it. He pushed away the blade with the shield and swept his sword to slice the woman. The swords didn't meet again. The albino had spun out of the way of the hero's attack. One of her blades nicked his ribs and the hero gave a short cry of pain.

"Rahzel, I will still forgive you. I would pardon you of your sins," Link said trying to calm the woman.

She narrowed her eyes, "I have not asked for your forgiveness; I don't wish for it. It is you who needs to ask for forgiveness. Your sins are the ones that need to be pardoned." The hero struck out and the woman dodged again. This earned him two blades running parallel across his leg. He fell to his knees and he looked up to watch the woman stand above him.

Groose had fallen back again. With one hand he held the greatest of his wounds and with the other he tried to reach into his pouch for the tenth time. He would have thought that the demon lord knew what he was planning and trying to prevent him from acting. The noble walked calm to the fallen Hylian. "Stop," a voice called out nervously. Both Groose and Ghirahim looked to the newcomer.

A green-haired Hylian stood holding his sword nervously in front of him. Groose recognized him as Fledge, the one student of the Academy that he enjoyed to bully so long ago. The knight hadn't changed much, he was still frightened of the enemy. In fact even now Fledge looked as though he would pass out.

Ghirahim laughed, "Is this the best you can do?" The noble teleported directly in front of Fledge causing the knight to take a step back in shock. He attempted to take a swipe at the noble which slid past the noble as he took a step back. Fledge had lost his balance and was tumbling forward. Groose closed his eyes expected the demon lord to dispatch the Hylian.

There was no shout of pain or even the sound of a sword finding its mark. Groose opened his eyes to see the noble spin the Hylian allowing him to catch his balance. The red-head understood what the noble was doing; he was playing with Fledge before he murdered him. He narrowed his eyes and pulled out his bow. An arrow flew from his grasp and missed. The projectile drew attention back to him.

Ghirahim rushed toward Groose. The red-head cowered until he heard a loud crashing sound to see Fledge slam into the demon lord. Both fell in a disorganized mess to the ground. The noble was on his back on the ground looking up at the green-haired knight. Groose thought they now had the upper hand and now sighed in relief. The relief turned to horror when Ghirahim grabbed Fledge's shoulders and pushed him to the ground. Groose could clearly see the fear in the knight's eyes. He reached for another arrow as Ghirahim gave a eerie grin. The demon widened his smile as he bit into the Hylian's throat. Fledge was gurgling and struggling in the noble's grasp.

Groose watched in horror as Fledge stopped moving. The demon lord straightened and looked at the red-head. His long tongue ran over his lips removing the red and revealing white. Groose reached into his pack and found his advantage. He pulled out the round object and threw it on the ground. Everything slowed and Groose had to smirk at the shock look on the noble's face as he saw what was falling into the space between them.

The explosion shook the ground. It caused Rahzel to look in the direction that the sound came from. She couldn't see the exact location due to the mass of smoke now rising into the air. However, the sinking feeling in her stomach told her that the bomb was detonated where Ghirahim was fighting. "Don't worry, my lady. I'm sure the medics would reach him," the sorcerer said in a tone that suggested that he was trying to convince himself.

The medics would reach him. The sentence seemed to suggest that Ghirahim was severely injured. Maybe he was dead. That explosion would have killed anyone near it. These traitorous thoughts poisoned her thoughts. Rahzel brought her hands to her head and screamed. She shook with rage, grief, and shock. She looked back at the hero that had pushed himself to his feet. The snarled as she jumped at him.

The once smooth attacks now were sloppy and where batted aside. Midna's blade fell from her grasp, so the woman used her own in a two-handed grasp. The hero's shield blocked Rahzel's attack. One of her leg muscles twitched and collapsed under her. Rahzel rolled away from the hero's attack. She stood back up and struck out. Her attack was blocked, but this time she leaned forward to tangle the blades together. She spun her sword in a wide circle causing the master sword to slip from the hero's grasp and fall to the ground.

Rahzel held up her blade ready to relieve the hero of his head. The darkness filled her view instantly. She was out before she even fell to the ground.

Link watched as the woman convulsed on the ground. Multiple Hylians and Sheikah were now gathering around him having killed most of the demons. The rest of the enemy were now fleeing. One of the now present Sheikah pulled out a pair of shackles. She then confined the twitching Hylian as she attempted to put the shackles on. The woman's bones made popping noises as they were pinned behind her back. The hero looked down at the woman before indicating to his gathered troops to take any other enemy as prisoners. The hero turned away from the battlefield and begun to walk back to Castle Town. All signs of resistance were crushed and his kingdom could now be at peace.
