The minute Adolf said the location of the place, they all were moving to their cars without even knowing what they will do. Derek was in the Camaro with Adolf in the passenger seat. In the back seat there were Isaac and Scott who refused to let both Derek and Adolf alone.
The second car was the sheriff's who took with him Lydia who kept reassuring him that Stiles will be fine, but actually the only person she was trying to reassure was herself.
The third car belonged to the Argents.
The three cars were following the directions that Adolf was giving to Derek. He kept saying directions until Derek stopped the car suddenly with wide eyes.
''Derek? What's wrong?'' Scott asked.
'' I can smell him '' Derek whispered '' I can smell his blood '' he got out of the car and started to look around him like a crazy person.
'' What? How? I don't smell anything '' Isaac said when he got out of the car followed by the others who stopped their cars as well.
''That's because he is not your mate '' Adolf said to Isaac. '' We feel our mates even if they were in another country; it only took your alpha that long because apparently he was trying to deny his mate'' then he looked at Derek '' Why is that Derek?''
'' That's not your fucking business '' Derek glowered then turned to the other '' we have to walk from her, me, Scott, and Isaac will run because there is no time'' then he pointed at Adolf '' you bring the rest of them to the tree '' then he turned to Chris '' don't hesitate to shoot him if you felt that he is lying''
Chris took out his gun and glared at Adolf '' believe me, I won't '' he said to Derek.
Derek, Isaac, and Scott started running they were shifted and doing their best to get to the location as fast as possible.
Derek was losing his mind by smelling his mate's blood. He never got the chance to tell Stiles. He didn't even have the chance to treat him better.
He was always rough with him, but that because he was always protective, possessive, and jealous. These were the only reasons, but that was not what Stiles thought. Stiles believed that Derek hated him and never trusted him. He has to save Stiles and tell him that it's not true even if it was the last thing to do.
Beside him, Scott was gritting his teeth because he couldn't even think about the idea of losing his best friend. He knew that for the last year, he has been taking Stiles for granted and giving Allison all his time, but that does not mean that he won't die for him. He always knew that Stiles blamed himself for Scott being bitten, but Scott tried to use Stiles's approach by ignoring the problem till it goes away. Instead, it never went away and he never got the chance to tell him that it was not his fault and that he would never have survived without him. Scott shook his head and tried to focus, he can fix this, he will save his fiend no matter what happened and will tell him everything.
Isaac was sensing both of them and how sacred they were, how both of them were trying to hold it together but he knew that they will die if anything happened to Stiles. He didn't know Stiles that well, but he knew that he was a good guy. He was the kind of guy that helps you without wanting anything in return. Isaac knew that it won't be the same without Stiles and that was an enough reason to do his best to save him because he was sure that Stiles would definitely do the same for any one of them.
Derek was ahead of them but suddenly he stopped and snarled at the air and when they approached him, they knew the reason ' mountain ash ' the place was surrounded with it. They now were able to smell Stiles's blood and hear his faint heart's beat. Isaac turned to Derek and asked '' what will we do?''
Derek roared then began to push towards the line of mountain ash. He was roaring and pushing and his eyes started to glow a very bright red. A bright shade of red that his betas have never seen before. He was using a lot of power and force that his veins were obvious on his neck and his nose started to bleed. Then finally came the sound of an explosion and all the werewolves flew backwards, but the barrier was broken.
Isaac and Scott rushed to Derek's side and shook him.
'' Derek! Come on '' Scott was shaking him fiercely.
Derek opened his eyes '' 'm fine '' he whispered and he was obviously weak.
'' Derek, you're not fine '' Isaac was concerned but there was no time.
'' I said I'm fine we should move because she must have sensed that '' then he stood up and began to move.
Out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning hit the ground and Jennifer appeared looking furious.
'' Oh Derek Derek Derek, you couldn't have waited just one more hour, you just had to came and prove how powerful you are?'' she smirked.
Derek and his betas growled. Then he heard it, the voice that he has been dying to hear for a long time, but it was faint and weak and all wrong '' D-D'rek ''
I was like a bolt of energy and power that rushed into his veins. He moved quickly but he was thrown backward by an invisible force. Then reinforcement came and took Jennifer off guard. She never thought that Adolf, the sheriff, and the hunters would work with Derek and his pack, but obviously that was her mistake that led to her downfall.
It happened so fast, the sheriff shot her in her leg, but as soon as it began to heal. Allison shot her with a crossbow that penetrated her shoulder and tied her to the tree behind her.
Derek began to move towards her and extending his claws and she began to cough blood while speaking '' you can't kill me Derek. You always pretend that you're rough and a badass but you don't have the balls '' she spat and continued '' he will die Derek, like everything else you love or touch ''
He moved quickly to cut her throat but Chris Argent beat him to it and shot her in the head with a bullet '' don't get your hands dirty because of this bitch, go find Stiles '' he said.
Derek looked at him then turned running to get to the basement of the tree to find Stiles.
When he found him he was pale and his skin was cold but he couldn't let himself think that he will lose him. He began to untie the bending of his wrists and cried him bridal style and screamed.
'' Somebody call a fucking ambulance''
